1 E ntão o Senhor disse a Noé: “Entre na arca, você e toda a sua família, porque você é o único justo que encontrei nesta geração.

And Jehovah saith to Noah, `Come in, thou and all thy house, unto the ark, for thee I have seen righteous before Me in this generation;

2 L eve com você sete casais de cada espécie de animal puro, macho e fêmea, e um casal de cada espécie de animal impuro, macho e fêmea,

of all the clean beasts thou dost take to thee seven pairs, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean two, a male and its female;

3 e leve também sete casais de aves de cada espécie, macho e fêmea, a fim de preservá-las em toda a terra.

also, of fowl of the heavens seven pairs, a male and a female, to keep alive seed on the face of all the earth;

4 D aqui a sete dias farei chover sobre a terra quarenta dias e quarenta noites, e farei desaparecer da face da terra todos os seres vivos que fiz”.

for after other seven days I am sending rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and have wiped away all the substance that I have made from off the face of the ground.'

5 E Noé fez tudo como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado. O Dilúvio

And Noah doth according to all that Jehovah hath commanded him:

6 N oé tinha seiscentos anos de idade quando as águas do Dilúvio vieram sobre a terra.

and Noah a son of six hundred years, and the deluge of waters hath been upon the earth.

7 N oé, seus filhos, sua mulher e as mulheres de seus filhos entraram na arca, por causa das águas do Dilúvio.

And Noah goeth in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, unto the ark, from the presence of the waters of the deluge;

8 C asais de animais grandes, puros e impuros, de aves e de todos os animais pequenos que se movem rente ao chão

of the clean beasts and of the beasts that not clean, and of the fowl, and of every thing that is creeping upon the ground,

9 v ieram a Noé e entraram na arca, como Deus tinha ordenado a Noé.

two by two they have come in unto Noah, unto the ark, a male and a female, as God hath commanded Noah.

10 E depois dos sete dias, as águas do Dilúvio vieram sobre a terra.

And it cometh to pass, after the seventh of the days, that waters of the deluge have been on the earth.

11 N o dia em que Noé completou seiscentos anos, um mês e dezessete dias, nesse mesmo dia todas as fontes das grandes profundezas jorraram, e as comportas do céu se abriram.

In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month, in this day have been broken up all fountains of the great deep, and the net-work of the heavens hath been opened,

12 E a chuva caiu sobre a terra quarenta dias e quarenta noites.

and the shower is on the earth forty days and forty nights.

13 N aquele mesmo dia, Noé e seus filhos, Sem, Cam e Jafé, com sua mulher e com as mulheres de seus três filhos, entraram na arca.

In this self-same day went in Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them, unto the ark;

14 C om eles entraram todos os animais de acordo com as suas espécies: todos os animais selvagens, todos os rebanhos domésticos, todos os demais seres vivos que se movem rente ao chão e todas as criaturas que têm asas: todas as aves e todos os outros animais que voam.

they, and every living creature after its kind, and every beast after its kind, and every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth after its kind, and every fowl after its kind, every bird -- every wing.

15 C asais de todas as criaturas que tinham fôlego de vida vieram a Noé e entraram na arca.

And they come in unto Noah, unto the ark, two by two of all the flesh in which a living spirit;

16 O s animais que entraram foram um macho e uma fêmea de cada ser vivo, conforme Deus ordenara a Noé. Então o Senhor fechou a porta.

and they that are coming in, male and female of all flesh, have come in as God hath commanded him, and Jehovah doth close for him.

17 Q uarenta dias durou o Dilúvio, e as águas aumentaram e elevaram a arca acima da terra.

And the deluge is forty days on the earth, and the waters multiply, and lift up the ark, and it is raised up from off the earth;

18 A s águas prevaleceram, aumentando muito sobre a terra, e a arca flutuava na superfície das águas.

and the waters are mighty, and multiply exceedingly upon the earth; and the ark goeth on the face of the waters.

19 A s águas dominavam cada vez mais a terra, e foram cobertas todas as altas montanhas debaixo do céu.

And the waters have been very very mighty on the earth, and covered are all the high mountains which under the whole heavens;

20 A s águas subiram até quase sete metros acima das montanhas.

fifteen cubits upwards have the waters become mighty, and the mountains are covered;

21 T odos os seres vivos que se movem sobre a terra pereceram: aves, rebanhos domésticos, animais selvagens, todas as pequenas criaturas que povoam a terra e toda a humanidade.

and expire doth all flesh that is moving on the earth, among fowl, and among cattle, and among beasts, and among all the teeming things which are teeming on the earth, and all mankind;

22 T udo o que havia em terra seca e tinha nas narinas o fôlego de vida morreu.

all in whose nostrils breath of a living spirit -- of all that in the dry land -- have died.

23 T odos os seres vivos foram exterminados da face da terra; tanto os homens, como os animais grandes, os animais pequenos que se movem rente ao chão e as aves do céu foram exterminados da terra. Só restaram Noé e aqueles que com ele estavam na arca.

And wiped away is all the substance that is on the face of the ground, from man unto beast, unto creeping thing, and unto fowl of the heavens; yea, they are wiped away from the earth, and only Noah is left, and those who with him in the ark;

24 E as águas prevaleceram sobre a terra cento e cinqüenta dias.

and the waters are mighty on the earth a hundred and fifty days.
