1 Q uanto à coleta para o povo de Deus, façam como ordenei às igrejas da Galácia.

And concerning the collection that for the saints, as I directed to the assemblies of Galatia, so also ye -- do ye;

2 N o primeiro dia da semana, cada um de vocês separe uma quantia, de acordo com a sua renda, reservando-a para que não seja preciso fazer coletas quando eu chegar.

on every first of the week, let each one of you lay by him, treasuring up whatever he may have prospered, that when I may come then collections may not be made;

3 E ntão, quando eu chegar, entregarei cartas de recomendação aos homens que vocês aprovarem e os mandarei para Jerusalém com a oferta de vocês.

and whenever I may come, whomsoever ye may approve, through letters, these I will send to carry your favour to Jerusalem;

4 S e me parecer conveniente ir também, eles me acompanharão. Pedidos Pessoais

and if it be meet for me also to go, with me they shall go.

5 D epois de passar pela Macedônia irei visitá-los, já que passarei por lá.

And I will come unto you, when I pass through Macedonia -- for Macedonia I do pass through --

6 T alvez eu permaneça com vocês durante algum tempo, ou até mesmo passe o inverno com vocês, para que me ajudem na viagem, aonde quer que eu vá.

and with you, it may be, I will abide, or even winter, that ye may send me forward whithersoever I go,

7 D esta vez não quero apenas vê-los e fazer uma visita de passagem; espero ficar algum tempo com vocês, se o Senhor permitir.

for I do not wish to see you now in the passing, but I hope to remain a certain time with you, if the Lord may permit;

8 M as permanecerei em Éfeso até o Pentecoste,

and I will remain in Ephesus till the Pentecost,

9 p orque se abriu para mim uma porta ampla e promissora; e há muitos adversários.

for a door to me hath been opened -- great and effectual -- and withstanders many.

10 S e Timóteo for, tomem providências para que ele não tenha nada que temer enquanto estiver com vocês, pois ele trabalha na obra do Senhor, assim como eu.

And if Timotheus may come, see that he may become without fear with you, for the work of the Lord he doth work, even as I,

11 P ortanto, ninguém o despreze. Ajudem-no a prosseguir viagem em paz, para que ele possa voltar a mim. Eu o estou esperando com os irmãos.

no one, then, may despise him; and send ye him forward in peace, that he may come to me, for I expect him with the brethren;

12 Q uanto ao irmão Apolo, insisti que fosse com os irmãos visitar vocês. Ele não quis de modo nenhum ir agora, mas irá quando tiver boa oportunidade.

and concerning Apollos our brother, much I did entreat him that he may come unto you with the brethren, and it was not at all will that he may come now, and he will come when he may find convenient.

13 E stejam vigilantes, mantenham-se firmes na fé, sejam homens de coragem, sejam fortes.

Watch ye, stand in the faith; be men, be strong;

14 F açam tudo com amor.

let all your things be done in love.

15 V ocês sabem que os da casa de Estéfanas foram o primeiro fruto da Acaia e que eles têm se dedicado ao serviço dos santos. Recomendo-lhes, irmãos,

And I entreat you, brethren, ye have known the household of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruit of Achaia, and to the ministration to the saints they did set themselves --

16 q ue se submetam a pessoas como eles e a todos os que cooperam e trabalham conosco.

that ye also be subject to such, and to every one who is working with and labouring;

17 A legrei-me com a vinda de Estéfanas, Fortunato e Acaico, porque eles supriram o que estava faltando da parte de vocês.

and I rejoice over the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because the lack of you did these fill up;

18 E les trouxeram alívio ao meu espírito, e ao de vocês também. Valorizem homens como estes. Saudações Finais

for they did refresh my spirit and yours; acknowledge ye, therefore, those who such.

19 A s igrejas da província da Ásia enviam-lhes saudações. Áqüila e Priscila os saúdam afetuosamente no Senhor, e também a igreja que se reúne na casa deles.

Salute you do the assemblies of Asia; salute you much in the Lord do Aquilas and Priscilla, with the assembly in their house;

20 T odos os irmãos daqui lhes enviam saudações. Saúdem uns aos outros com beijo santo.

salute you do all the brethren; salute ye one another in an holy kiss.

21 E u, Paulo, escrevi esta saudação de próprio punho.

The salutation of Paul with my hand;

22 S e alguém não ama o Senhor, seja amaldiçoado. Vem, Senhor!

if any one doth not love the Lord Jesus Christ -- let him be anathema! The Lord hath come!

23 A graça do Senhor Jesus seja com vocês.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ with you;

24 R ecebam o amor que tenho por todos vocês em Cristo Jesus. Amém.

my love with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
