1 L ăudaţi pe Domnul! Lăudaţi pe Domnul din înălţimea cerurilor, lăudaţi -L în locurile cele înalte!

Praise ye Jah! Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens, Praise ye Him in high places.

2 L ăudaţi -L toţi îngerii Lui! Lăudaţi -L, toate oştirile Lui!

Praise ye Him, all His messengers, Praise ye Him, all His hosts.

3 L ăudaţi -L, soare şi lună, lăudaţi -L, toate stelele luminoase!

Praise ye Him, sun and moon, Praise ye Him, all stars of light.

4 L ăudaţi -L, cerurile cerurilor, şi voi, ape, cari sînteţi mai pe sus de ceruri!

Praise ye Him, heavens of heavens, And ye waters that are above the heavens.

5 S ă laude Numele Domnului, căci El a poruncit şi au fost făcute,

They do praise the name of Jehovah, For He commanded, and they were created.

6 l e -a întărit pe veci de veci; le -a dat legi, şi nu le va călca.

And He establisheth them for ever to the age, A statute He gave, and they pass not over.

7 L ăudaţi pe Domnul de jos de pe pămînt, balauri de mare, şi adîncuri toate;

Praise ye Jehovah from the earth, Dragons and all deeps,

8 f oc şi grindină, zăpadă şi ceaţă, vînturi năpraznice, cari împliniţi poruncile Lui,

Fire and hail, snow and vapour, Whirlwind doing His word;

9 m unţi şi dealuri toate, pomi roditori, şi cedri toţi,

The mountains and all heights, Fruit tree, and all cedars,

10 f iare şi vite toate, tîrîtoare şi păsări înaripate,

The wild beast, and all cattle, Creeping thing, and winged bird,

11 î mpăraţi ai pămîntului şi popoare toate, voievozi şi toţi judecătorii pămîntului,

Kings of earth, and all peoples, Chiefs, and all judges of earth,

12 t ineri şi tinere, bătrîni şi copii!

Young men, and also maidens, Aged men, with youths,

13 S ă laude Numele Domnului! Căci numai Numele Lui este înălţat: măreţia Lui este mai pe sus de pămînt şi ceruri.

They praise the name of Jehovah, For His name alone hath been set on high, His honour above earth and heavens.

14 E l a înalţat tăria poporului Său: iată o pricină de laudă pentru toţi credincioşii Lui, pentru copiii lui Israel, popor de lîngă El. Lăudaţi pe Domnul!

And He exalteth the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints, Of the sons of Israel, a people near Him. Praise ye Jah!
