1 D omnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 V orbeşte lui Aaron şi fiilor lui, ca să se ferească de lucrurile sfinte, cari Îmi sînt închinate de copiii lui Israel, şi să nu necinstească Numele Meu cel sfînt. Eu sînt Domnul.

`Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and they are separated from the holy things of the sons of Israel, and they pollute not My holy name in what they are hallowing to Me; I Jehovah.

3 S pune-le:,, Orice om dintre urmaşii voştri şi din neamul vostru, care se va apropia de lucrurile sfinte pe cari le închină Domnului copiii lui Israel, şi care va avea pe el o necurăţie, omul acela să fie nimicit dinaintea Mea. Eu sînt Domnul.

`Say unto them, To your generations, any man who draweth near, out of all your seed, unto the holy things which the sons of Israel do sanctify to Jehovah, and his uncleanness on him -- even that person hath been cut off from before Me; I Jehovah.

4 O rice om din neamul lui Aaron, care va avea lepră sau scurgere de sămînţă, să nu mănînce din lucrurile sfinte pînă nu va fi curat. Tot aşa şi cel ce se va atinge de cineva spurcat prin atingerea de vreun mort, de cel ce va avea o lepădare de sămînţă în somn,

`Any man of the seed of Aaron, and is leprous or hath an issue -- of the holy things he doth not eat till that he is clean; and he who is coming against any uncleanness of a person, or a man whose seed of copulation goeth out from him,

5 c el ce se va atinge de o tîrîtoare şi se va spurca, sau un om atins de vreo necurăţie oarecare şi care se va fi făcut necurat prin ea.

or a man who cometh against any teeming thing which is unclean to him, or against a man who is unclean to him, even any of his uncleanness --

6 C ine se va atinge de aceste lucruri, va fi necurat pînă seara; să nu mănînce din lucrurile sfinte, decît dupăce îşi va scălda trupul în apă;

the person who cometh against it -- hath even been unclean till the evening, and doth not eat of the holy things, but hath bathed his flesh with water,

7 d upă asfinţitul soarelui, va fi curat; şi în urmă va mînca din lucrurile sfinte, căci aceasta este hrana lui.

and the sun hath gone in, and he hath been clean, and afterwards he doth eat of the holy things, for it his food;

8 S ă nu mănînce dintr'o vită moartă sau sfîşiată, ca să nu se spurce cu ea. Eu sînt Domnul.

a carcase or torn thing he doth not eat, for uncleanness thereby; I Jehovah.

9 S ă păzească poruncile Mele, ca să nu-şi ia pedeapsa pentru păcatul lor şi să nu moară, pentrucă au necinstit lucrurile sfinte. Eu sînt Domnul, care îi sfinţesc.

`And they have kept My charge, and bear no sin for it, that they have died for it when they pollute it; I Jehovah sanctifying them.

10 N ici un străin să nu mănînce din lucrurile sfinte; cel ce locuieşte la un preot ca oaspe, şi cel tocmit cu ziua, să nu mănînce din lucrurile sfinte.

`And no stranger doth eat of the holy thing; a settler of a priest and an hireling doth not eat of the holy thing;

11 D ar robul cumpărat de preot cu preţ de argint, va putea să mănînce, tot aşa şi cel născut în casa lui; ei să mănînce din hrana lui.

and when a priest buyeth a person, the purchase of his money, he doth eat of it, also one born in his house; they do eat of his bread.

12 F ata unui preot, măritată după un străin, să nu mănînce din lucrurile sfinte aduse jertfă prin ridicare.

`And a priest's daughter, when she is a strange man's, -- she, of the heave-offering of the holy things doth not eat;

13 D ar fata unui preot, care va fi rămas văduvă sau despărţită de bărbat, fără să aibă copii, şi care se va întoarce în casa tatălui său, ca atunci cînd era fată, va putea să mănînce din hrana tatălui ei. Dar niciun străin să nu mănînce din ea.

and a priest's daughter, when she is a widow, or cast out, and hath no seed, and hath turned back unto the house of her father, as her youth, of her father's bread she doth eat; but no stranger doth eat of it.

14 D acă un om mănîncă dintr'un lucru sfînt, fără să bage de seamă, să dea preotului preţul lucrului sfînt, adăugînd încă o cincime la el.

`And when a man doth eat of a holy thing through ignorance, then he hath added its fifth part to it, and hath given to the priest, with the holy thing;

15 P reoţii să nu necinstească lucrurile sfinte aduse de copiii lui Israel, pe cari le-au adus ei Domnului ca jertfă prin ridicare;

and they do not pollute the holy things of the sons of Israel -- that which they lift up to Jehovah,

16 e i vor face să apese astfel asupra lor păcatul de care s'ar face vinovaţi mîncînd din lucrurile sfinte: căci Eu sînt Domnul, care îi sfinţesc.``

nor have caused them to bear the iniquity of the guilt-offering in their eating their holy things; for I Jehovah, sanctifying them.'

17 D omnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

18 V orbeşte lui Aaron şi fiilor lui, şi tuturor copiilor lui Israel, şi spune-le:, Orice om din casa lui Israel sau dintre străinii din Israel, care va aduce o ardere de tot Domnului, fie pentru împlinirea unei juruinţe, fie ca dar de bună voie,

`Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, who bringeth near his offering, of all his vows, or of all his willing offerings which they bring near to Jehovah for a burnt-offering;

19 s ă ia o parte bărbătească fără cusur din boi, miei sau capre, pentruca jertfa să fie primită.

at your pleasure a perfect one, a male of the herd, of the sheep or of the goats;

20 S ă nu aduceţi niciuna care să aibă vreun cusur, căci n'ar fi primită.

nothing in which blemish do ye bring near, for it is not for a pleasing thing for you.

21 D acă un om aduce Domnului din boi sau din oi o jertfă de mulţămire, fie pentru împlinirea unei juruinţe, fie ca dar de bună voie, vita pentru jertfă să fie fără cusur, ca să fie primită; să n'aibă niciun cusur în ea.

`And when a man bringeth near a sacrifice of peace-offerings to Jehovah, to complete a vow, or for a willing-offering, of the herd or of the flock, it is perfect for a pleasing thing: no blemish is in it;

22 S ă n'aduceţi niciuna care să fie oarbă, slută, sau ciuntită, care să aibă bube, rîie sau pecingine; din acestea să n'aduceţi pe altar ca jertfă mistuită de foc înaintea Domnului.

blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed -- ye do not bring these near to Jehovah, and a fire-offering ye do not make of them on the altar to Jehovah.

23 C a dar de bună voie vei putea să jertfeşti un bou sau un miel cu un mădular prea lung sau prea scurt; dar, ca dar pentru împlinirea unei juruinţe, nu va fi primit.

`As to an ox or a sheep enlarged or dwarfed -- a willing-offering ye do make it, but for a vow it is not pleasing.

24 S ă n'aduceţi Domnului un dobitoc cu boaşele frînte, stricate, smulse sau tăiate; să nu -l aduceţi ca jertfă în ţara voastră.

As to a bruised, or beaten, or enlarged, or cut thing -- ye do not bring near to Jehovah; even in your land ye do not do it.

25 N ici să nu luaţi dela străin vreunul din aceste dobitoace, ca să -l aduceţi ca mîncare Dumnezeului vostru; căci sînt sluţite, au metehne: şi n'ar fi primite.``

And from the hand of a son of a stranger ye do not bring near the bread of your God, of any of these, for their corruption in them; blemish in them; they are not pleasing for you.'

26 D omnul a zis lui Moise:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

27 V iţelul, mielul sau iedul, după naştere, să mai rămînă şapte zile cu mamă-sa, şi apoi, dela a opta zi înainte, va fi primit să fie adus Domnului ca jertfă mistuită de foc.

`When ox or lamb or goat is born, and it hath been seven days under its dam, then from the eighth day and henceforth, it is pleasing for an offering, a fire-offering to Jehovah;

28 V aca, oaia sau capra, să n'o junghiaţi ca jertfă în aceeaş zi cu fătul lor.

but an ox or sheep -- it and its young one, ye do not slaughter in one day.

29 C înd veţi aduce Domnului o jertfă de mulţămire, s'o aduceţi aşa ca să fie primită.

`And when ye sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Jehovah, at your pleasure ye do sacrifice,

30 V ita să se mănînce în aceeaş zi; să nu lăsaţi nimic din ea pînă a doua zi dimineaţa. Eu sînt Domnul.

on that day it is eaten, ye do not leave of it till morning; I Jehovah;

31 S ă păziţi poruncile Mele, şi să le împliniţi. Eu sînt Domnul.

and ye have kept my commands, and have done them; I Jehovah;

32 S ă nu necinstiţi Numele Meu cel sfînt, ca să fiu sfinţit în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel. Eu sînt Domnul, care vă sfinţesc,

and ye do not pollute My holy name, and I have been hallowed in the midst of the sons of Israel; I Jehovah, sanctifying you,

33 ş i care v'am scos din ţara Egiptului, ca să fiu Dumnezeul vostru. Eu sînt Domnul.``

who am bringing you up out of the land of Egypt, to become your God; I Jehovah.'
