1 E ntonces el Señor habló a Moisés:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 “ Dile a Aarón y a sus hijos que tengan cuidado con las cosas sagradas que los Israelitas Me consagran, para que no profanen Mi santo nombre. Yo soy el Señor.

`Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and they are separated from the holy things of the sons of Israel, and they pollute not My holy name in what they are hallowing to Me; I Jehovah.

3 D iles: ‘Si alguien de entre sus descendientes en todas sus generaciones, se acerca a las cosas sagradas que los Israelitas consagran al Señor, estando inmundo, esa persona será eliminada de Mi presencia. Yo soy el Señor.

`Say unto them, To your generations, any man who draweth near, out of all your seed, unto the holy things which the sons of Israel do sanctify to Jehovah, and his uncleanness on him -- even that person hath been cut off from before Me; I Jehovah.

4 N ingún varón de los descendientes de Aarón que sea leproso, o que tenga flujo, podrá comer de las cosas sagradas hasta que sea limpio. Y si alguien toca alguna cosa contaminada por un cadáver, o si un hombre tiene una emisión seminal,

`Any man of the seed of Aaron, and is leprous or hath an issue -- of the holy things he doth not eat till that he is clean; and he who is coming against any uncleanness of a person, or a man whose seed of copulation goeth out from him,

5 s i alguien toca ciertos animales por los cuales se pueda contaminar, o a cualquier hombre que lo contamine, cualquiera que sea su inmundicia.

or a man who cometh against any teeming thing which is unclean to him, or against a man who is unclean to him, even any of his uncleanness --

6 L a persona que toque a cualquiera de éstos quedará inmunda hasta el atardecer; no comerá de las cosas sagradas a menos que haya lavado su cuerpo con agua.

the person who cometh against it -- hath even been unclean till the evening, and doth not eat of the holy things, but hath bathed his flesh with water,

7 C uando el sol se ponga quedará limpio, y después comerá de las cosas sagradas, porque son su alimento.

and the sun hath gone in, and he hath been clean, and afterwards he doth eat of the holy things, for it his food;

8 N o comerá animal que muera o sea despedazado por fieras, contaminándose por ello; Yo soy el Señor.

a carcase or torn thing he doth not eat, for uncleanness thereby; I Jehovah.

9 G uardarán, pues, Mi ordenanza para que no se carguen de pecado por ello, y mueran porque la profanen. Yo soy el Señor que los santifico.

`And they have kept My charge, and bear no sin for it, that they have died for it when they pollute it; I Jehovah sanctifying them.

10 N ingún extraño comerá cosa sagrada; ni huésped del sacerdote, ni jornalero comerán cosa sagrada.

`And no stranger doth eat of the holy thing; a settler of a priest and an hireling doth not eat of the holy thing;

11 P ero si un sacerdote compra con su dinero un esclavo como propiedad suya, éste sí puede comer de ella, y también los nacidos en su casa podrán comer de su alimento.

and when a priest buyeth a person, the purchase of his money, he doth eat of it, also one born in his house; they do eat of his bread.

12 Y si la hija del sacerdote se casa con un extraño, ella no comerá de la ofrenda de las cosas sagradas.

`And a priest's daughter, when she is a strange man's, -- she, of the heave-offering of the holy things doth not eat;

13 P ero si la hija del sacerdote queda viuda o se divorcia, y no tiene hijo y regresa a la casa de su padre como en su juventud, podrá comer del alimento de su padre; pero ningún extraño comerá de él.

and a priest's daughter, when she is a widow, or cast out, and hath no seed, and hath turned back unto the house of her father, as her youth, of her father's bread she doth eat; but no stranger doth eat of it.

14 Y si un hombre come inadvertidamente cosa sagrada, entonces añadirá a ella una quinta parte y restituirá la cosa sagrada al sacerdote.

`And when a man doth eat of a holy thing through ignorance, then he hath added its fifth part to it, and hath given to the priest, with the holy thing;

15 L os sacerdotes no profanarán las cosas sagradas que los Israelitas ofrecen al Señor,

and they do not pollute the holy things of the sons of Israel -- that which they lift up to Jehovah,

16 c ausándoles así sufrir castigo por la culpa al comer sus cosas sagradas; porque Yo soy el Señor que los santifico.’” Animales para el Sacrificio

nor have caused them to bear the iniquity of the guilt-offering in their eating their holy things; for I Jehovah, sanctifying them.'

17 T ambién el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

18 “ Habla a Aarón y a sus hijos y a todos los Israelitas: ‘Cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel o de los extranjeros en Israel, que presente su ofrenda, ya sea de sus ofrendas votivas (de sus votos) o de sus ofrendas voluntarias, las cuales presenta al Señor como holocausto,

`Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, who bringeth near his offering, of all his vows, or of all his willing offerings which they bring near to Jehovah for a burnt-offering;

19 p ara que les sea aceptada, ésta debe ser macho sin defecto del ganado, de los corderos o de las cabras.

at your pleasure a perfect one, a male of the herd, of the sheep or of the goats;

20 L o que tenga defecto, no lo ofrecerán, porque no les será aceptado.

nothing in which blemish do ye bring near, for it is not for a pleasing thing for you.

21 C uando alguien ofrezca sacrificio de ofrenda de paz al Señor para cumplir un voto especial o como ofrenda voluntaria, del ganado o del rebaño, tiene que ser sin defecto para ser aceptado; no habrá imperfección en él.

`And when a man bringeth near a sacrifice of peace-offerings to Jehovah, to complete a vow, or for a willing-offering, of the herd or of the flock, it is perfect for a pleasing thing: no blemish is in it;

22 L os que estén ciegos, quebrados, mutilados, o con llagas purulentas, sarna o roña, no los ofrecerán al Señor, ni harán de ellos una ofrenda encendida sobre el altar al Señor.

blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed -- ye do not bring these near to Jehovah, and a fire-offering ye do not make of them on the altar to Jehovah.

23 E n cuanto al buey o carnero que tenga un miembro deformado o atrofiado, podrán presentarlo como ofrenda voluntaria, pero por voto no será aceptado.

`As to an ox or a sheep enlarged or dwarfed -- a willing-offering ye do make it, but for a vow it is not pleasing.

24 T ambién cualquier animal con sus testículos magullados, aplastados, rasgados o cortados, no lo ofrecerán al Señor ni lo sacrificarán en su tierra;

As to a bruised, or beaten, or enlarged, or cut thing -- ye do not bring near to Jehovah; even in your land ye do not do it.

25 t ampoco aceptarán tales animales de mano de un extranjero por ofrenda como alimento para su Dios; porque su corrupción está en ellos, tienen defecto y no les serán aceptados.’”

And from the hand of a son of a stranger ye do not bring near the bread of your God, of any of these, for their corruption in them; blemish in them; they are not pleasing for you.'

26 E l Señor habló a Moisés:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

27 “ Cuando nazca un ternero, un cordero o un cabrito, quedará siete días con su madre, y desde el octavo día en adelante será aceptable como sacrificio de ofrenda encendida al Señor.

`When ox or lamb or goat is born, and it hath been seven days under its dam, then from the eighth day and henceforth, it is pleasing for an offering, a fire-offering to Jehovah;

28 P ero, ya sea vaca u oveja, no matarán a ella y a su cría en el mismo día.

but an ox or sheep -- it and its young one, ye do not slaughter in one day.

29 Y cuando ofrezcan sacrificio de acción de gracias al Señor, lo sacrificarán para que sean aceptados.

`And when ye sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Jehovah, at your pleasure ye do sacrifice,

30 L o comerán en el mismo día, no dejarán nada de él para la mañana siguiente. Yo soy el Señor.

on that day it is eaten, ye do not leave of it till morning; I Jehovah;

31 A sí, pues, guardarán Mis mandamientos y los cumplirán. Yo soy el Señor.

and ye have kept my commands, and have done them; I Jehovah;

32 “ No profanarán Mi santo nombre, sino que seré santificado entre los Israelitas. Yo soy el Señor que los santifico,

and ye do not pollute My holy name, and I have been hallowed in the midst of the sons of Israel; I Jehovah, sanctifying you,

33 q ue los saqué de la tierra de Egipto para ser su Dios. Yo soy el Señor.”

who am bringing you up out of the land of Egypt, to become your God; I Jehovah.'
