28 Y el resto del pueblo, los sacerdotes, los Levitas, los porteros, los cantores, los sirvientes del templo, y todos los que se han apartado de los pueblos de las tierras para aceptar la ley de Dios, también sus mujeres, sus hijos y sus hijas, y todos los que tienen conocimiento y entendimiento,

And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and every one who hath been separated from the peoples of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every knowing intelligent one,

29 s e adhieren a sus parientes, sus nobles, y toman sobre sí un voto y un juramento de andar en la ley de Dios que fue dada por medio de Moisés, siervo de Dios, y de guardar y cumplir todos los mandamientos de Dios nuestro Señor, y Sus ordenanzas y Sus estatutos;

are laying hold on their brethren, their honourable ones, and coming in to an execration, and in to an oath, to walk in the law of God, that was given by the hand of Moses, servant of God, and to observe and to do all the commands of Jehovah our Lord, and His judgments, and His statutes;

30 y que no daremos nuestras hijas a los pueblos de la tierra ni tomaremos sus hijas para nuestros hijos.

and that we give not our daughters to the peoples of the land, and their daughters we take not to our sons;

31 E n cuanto a los pueblos de la tierra que traigan mercancías o cualquier clase de grano para vender en el día de reposo, no compraremos de ellos en día de reposo ni en día santo. También renunciaremos a las cosechas del año séptimo y a la exigencia de toda deuda.

and the peoples of the land who are bringing in the wares and any corn on the sabbath-day to sell, we receive not of them on the sabbath, and on a holy day, and we leave the seventh year, and usury on every hand.

32 A demás, nos imponemos la obligación de contribuir con un tercio de un siclo (11. 4 gr de plata) al año para el servicio de la casa de nuestro Dios:

And we have appointed for ourselves commands, to put on ourselves the third of a shekel in a year, for the service of the house of our God,

33 p ara los panes de la proposición y la ofrenda continua de cereal; para el holocausto continuo, los días de reposo, las lunas nuevas y las fiestas señaladas; para las cosas sagradas, para las ofrendas por el pecado para hacer expiación por Israel y para toda la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios.

for bread of the arrangement, and the continual present, and the continual burnt-offering of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for appointed seasons, and for holy things, and for sin-offerings, to make atonement for Israel, even all the work of the house of our God.

34 A simismo echamos suertes para la provisión de madera entre los sacerdotes, los Levitas y el pueblo para que la traigan a la casa de nuestro Dios, conforme a nuestras casas paternas, en los tiempos fijados cada año, para quemar sobre el altar del Señor nuestro Dios, como está escrito en la ley.

And the lots we have caused to fall for the offering of wood, the priests, the Levites, and the people, to bring in to the house of our God, by the house of our fathers, at times appointed, year by year, to burn on the altar of Jehovah our God, as it is written in the law,

35 A demás nos hemos propuesto traer cada año los primeros frutos de nuestra tierra y los primeros frutos de todo árbol a la casa del Señor,

and to bring in the first fruits of our ground, and the first fruits of all fruit of every tree, year by year, to the house of Jehovah,

36 y traer a la casa de nuestro Dios los primogénitos de nuestros hijos y de nuestros ganados como está escrito en la ley; los primogénitos de nuestras vacas y de nuestras ovejas son para los sacerdotes que ministran en la casa de nuestro Dios.

and the firstlings of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and our flocks, to bring in to the house of our God, to the priests who are ministering in the house of our God.

37 T ambién traeremos las primicias de nuestra harina y nuestras ofrendas del fruto de todo árbol, del vino nuevo y del aceite para los sacerdotes a las cámaras de la casa de nuestro Dios, y el diezmo de nuestras cosechas a los Levitas, porque los Levitas son los que reciben los diezmos en todas las ciudades donde trabajamos.

And the beginning of our dough, and our heave-offerings, and the fruit of every tree, of new wine, and of oil, we bring in to the priests, unto the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithe of our ground to the Levites; and they -- the Levites -- have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage;

38 Y un sacerdote, hijo de Aarón, estará con los Levitas cuando los Levitas reciban los diezmos, y los Levitas llevarán la décima parte de los diezmos a la casa de nuestro Dios, a las cámaras del almacén.

and the priest, son of Aaron, hath been with the Levites in the tithing of the Levites, and the Levites bring up the tithe of the tithe to the house of our God unto the chambers, to the treasure-house;

39 P orque los Israelitas y los hijos de Leví llevan la contribución del cereal, del vino nuevo y del aceite a las cámaras; allí están los utensilios del santuario, los sacerdotes que ministran, los porteros y los cantores. Así no descuidaremos la casa de nuestro Dios.

for unto the chambers do they bring in -- the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi -- the heave-offering of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, and there vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests, those ministering, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and we do not forsake the house of our God.
