1 P ermanezca (Continúe) el amor fraternal.

Let brotherly love remain;

2 N o se olviden de mostrar hospitalidad, porque por ella algunos, sin saberlo, hospedaron ángeles.

of the hospitality be not forgetful, for through this unawares certain did entertain messengers;

3 A cuérdense de los presos, como si estuvieran presos con ellos, y de los maltratados, puesto que también ustedes están en el cuerpo.

be mindful of those in bonds, as having been bound with them, of those maltreated, as also yourselves being in the body;

4 S ea el matrimonio honroso en todos, y el lecho matrimonial sin deshonra, porque a los inmorales y a los adúlteros los juzgará Dios.

honourable the marriage in all, and the bed undefiled, and whoremongers and adulterers God shall judge.

5 S ea el carácter de ustedes sin avaricia, contentos con lo que tienen, porque El mismo ha dicho: “ Nunca te dejare ni te desamparare,”

Without covetousness the behaviour, being content with the things present, for He hath said, `No, I will not leave, no, nor forsake thee,'

6 d e manera que decimos confiadamente: “ El Señor es el que me ayuda; no temere. ¿ Que podra hacerme el hombre ?”

so that we do boldly say, `The Lord to me a helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.'

7 A cuérdense de sus guías que les hablaron la palabra de Dios, y considerando el resultado de su conducta, imiten su fe.

Be mindful of those leading you, who did speak to you the word of God, whose faith -- considering the issue of the behaviour -- be imitating,

8 J esucristo es el mismo ayer y hoy y por los siglos.

Jesus Christ yesterday and to-day the same, and to the ages;

9 N o se dejen llevar por doctrinas (enseñanzas) diversas y extrañas. Porque es buena cosa para el corazón el ser fortalecido por la gracia, no por alimentos, de los que no recibieron beneficio los que de ellos se ocupaban.

with teachings manifold and strange be not carried about, for good that by grace the heart be confirmed, not with meats, in which they who were occupied were not profited;

10 N osotros tenemos un altar del cual no tienen derecho a comer los que sirven en el tabernáculo.

we have an altar, of which to eat they have no authority who the tabernacle are serving,

11 P orque los cuerpos de aquellos animales, cuya sangre es llevada al santuario por el sumo sacerdote como ofrenda por el pecado, son quemados fuera del campamento.

for of those beasts whose blood is brought for sin into the holy places through the chief priest -- of these the bodies are burned without the camp.

12 P or lo cual también Jesús, para santificar al pueblo mediante Su propia sangre, padeció fuera de la puerta.

Wherefore, also Jesus -- that he might sanctify through own blood the people -- without the gate did suffer;

13 A sí pues, salgamos a Su encuentro fuera del campamento, llevando Su oprobio.

now, then, may we go forth unto him without the camp, his reproach bearing;

14 P orque no tenemos aquí una ciudad permanente, sino que buscamos la que está por venir.

for we have not here an abiding city, but the coming one we seek;

15 P or tanto, ofrezcamos continuamente mediante El, sacrificio de alabanza a Dios, es decir, el fruto de labios que confiesan (alaban) Su nombre.

through him, then, we may offer up a sacrifice of praise always to God, that is, the fruit of lips, giving thanks to His name;

16 Y no se olviden ustedes de hacer el bien y de la ayuda mutua (compartir), porque de tales sacrificios se agrada Dios.

and of doing good, and of fellowship, be not forgetful, for with such sacrifices God is well-pleased.

17 O bedezcan a sus pastores (guías) y sujétense a ellos, porque ellos velan por sus almas, como quienes han de dar cuenta. Permítanles que lo hagan con alegría y no quejándose, porque eso no sería provechoso para ustedes. Bendición y Saludos Finales

Be obedient to those leading you, and be subject, for these do watch for your souls, as about to give account, that with joy they may do this, and not sighing, for this unprofitable to you.

18 O ren por nosotros, pues confiamos en que tenemos una buena conciencia, deseando conducirnos honradamente (bien) en todo.

Pray for us, for we trust that we have a good conscience, in all things willing to behave well,

19 E s más, les exhorto a hacer esto, a fin de que yo les sea restituido muy pronto.

and more abundantly do I call upon to do this, that more quickly I may be restored to you.

20 Y el Dios de paz, que resucitó de entre los muertos a Jesús nuestro Señor, el gran Pastor de las ovejas mediante la sangre del pacto eterno,

And the God of the peace, who did bring up out of the dead the great shepherd of the sheep -- in the blood of an age-during covenant -- our Lord Jesus,

21 l os haga aptos en toda obra buena para hacer Su voluntad, obrando El en nosotros lo que es agradable delante de El mediante Jesucristo, a quien sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

make you perfect in every good work to do His will, doing in you that which is well-pleasing before Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom the glory -- to the ages of the ages! Amen.

22 L es ruego, hermanos, que soporten la palabra de exhortación, pues les he escrito brevemente.

And I entreat you, brethren, suffer the word of the exhortation, for also through few words I have written to you.

23 S epan que nuestro hermano Timoteo ha sido puesto en libertad, con el cual, si viene pronto, he de verlos.

Know ye that the brother Timotheus is released, with whom, if he may come more shortly, I will see you.

24 S aluden a todos sus pastores (guías) y a todos los santos. Los de Italia los saludan.

Salute all those leading you, and all the saints; salute you doth those from Italy:

25 L a gracia sea con todos ustedes. Amén.
