1 E ntonces toda la congregación de los Israelitas se reunió en Silo, y levantaron allí la tienda de reunión; y la tierra estaba sometida delante de ellos.

And all the company of the sons of Israel are assembled Shiloh, and they cause the tent of meeting to tabernacle there, and the land hath been subdued before them.

2 Q uedaban siete tribus de los Israelitas que no habían recibido aún su heredad.

And there are left among the sons of Israel who have not shared their inheritance, seven tribes,

3 D ijo, pues, Josué a los Israelitas: “¿Hasta cuándo pospondrán el entrar a tomar posesión de la tierra que el Señor, el Dios de sus padres, les ha dado?

and Joshua saith unto the sons of Israel, `Till when are ye remiss to go in to possess the land which He hath given to you, Jehovah, God of your fathers?

4 E scojan tres hombres de cada tribu, y yo los enviaré, y ellos se levantarán y recorrerán la tierra, y harán una descripción de ella según su heredad. Entonces volverán a mí.

Give for you three men for a tribe, and I send them, and they rise and go up and down through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and come in unto me,

5 D ividirán la tierra en siete partes. Judá se quedará en su territorio en el sur, y la casa de José se quedará en su territorio en el norte.

and they have divided it into seven portions -- Judah doth stay by its border on the south, and the house of Joseph do stay by their border on the north --

6 D escribirán la tierra en siete partes, y me traerán aquí la descripción, y yo les echaré suertes aquí delante del Señor nuestro Dios.

and ye describe the land seven portions, and have brought in unto me hither, and I have cast for you a lot here before Jehovah our God;

7 P ues los Levitas no tienen porción entre ustedes, porque el sacerdocio del Señor es su herencia. Gad, Rubén y la media tribu de Manasés también han recibido su herencia al otro lado del Jordán hacia el oriente, la cual les dio Moisés, siervo del Señor.”

for there is no portion to the Levites in your midst, for the priesthood of Jehovah their inheritance, and Gad, and Reuben, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses servant of Jehovah gave to them.'

8 E ntonces los hombres se levantaron y salieron, y Josué ordenó a los que salieron a describir la tierra diciéndoles: “Vayan y recorran la tierra, y descríbanla y vuelvan a mí. Entonces les echaré suertes aquí en Silo delante del Señor.”

And the men rise and go; and Joshua commandeth those who are going to describe the land, saying, `Go, and walk up and down through the land, and describe it, and turn back unto me, and here I cast for you a lot before Jehovah in Shiloh.'

9 L os hombres fueron y recorrieron la tierra, la describieron por ciudades en siete partes en un libro, y vinieron a Josué en el campamento en Silo.

And the men go, and pass over through the land, and describe it by cities, in seven portions, on a book, and they come in unto Joshua, unto the camp, Shiloh.

10 Y Josué les echó suertes en Silo delante del Señor, y allí Josué repartió la tierra a los Israelitas conforme a sus divisiones.

And Joshua casteth for them a lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, and there Joshua apportioneth the land to the sons of Israel, according to their divisions.

11 S alió la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín conforme a sus familias, y el territorio de su suerte estaba entre la tribu de Judá y la tribu de José.

And a lot goeth up the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families; and the border of their lot goeth out between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.

12 S u límite por el lado norte comenzaba en el Jordán, subía por el lado de Jericó al norte, ascendía por la región montañosa hacia el occidente y terminaba en el desierto de Bet Avén.

And the border is to them at the north side from the Jordan, and the border hath gone up unto the side of Jericho on the north, and gone up through the hill-country westward, and its outgoings have been at the wilderness of Beth-Aven;

13 D e allí el límite seguía hasta Luz, por el lado sur de Luz, es decir, Betel. Después el límite bajaba hasta Atarot Adar, cerca del monte que está al sur de Bet Horón de abajo.

and the border hath gone over thence to Luz, unto the side of Luz (it Beth-El) southward, and the border hath gone down Atroth-Addar, by the hill that on the south of the lower Beth-Horon;

14 E l límite doblaba allí y se extendía hacia el sur por el lado occidental, desde el monte que está frente a Bet Horón hacia el sur; y terminaba en Quiriat Baal, es decir, Quiriat Jearim, ciudad de los hijos de Judá. Este era el límite occidental.

and the border hath been marked out, and hath gone round to the corner of the sea southward, from the hill which at the front of Beth-Horon southward, and its outgoings have been unto Kirjath-Baal (it Kirjath-Jearim), a city of the sons of Judah: this the west quarter.

15 P or el lado sur, desde el extremo de Quiriat Jearim, el límite seguía hacia el occidente e iba hasta la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa.

And the south quarter from the end of Kirjath-Jearim, and the border hath gone out westward, and gone out unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah;

16 E ntonces el límite bajaba hasta la orilla del monte que está en el Valle de Ben Hinom, que está en el Valle de Refaim hacia el norte; y bajaba al Valle de Hinom, hasta la ladera del Jebuseo hacia el sur, y bajaba hasta En Rogel.

and the border hath come down unto the extremity of the hill which on the front of the valley of the son of Hinnom, which in the valley of the Rephaim northward, and hath gone down the valley of Hinnom unto the side of Jebusi southward, and gone down En-Rogel,

17 L uego doblaba hacia el norte e iba hasta En Semes y hasta Gelitot, que está frente a la subida de Adumín, y bajaba hasta la piedra de Bohán, hijo de Rubén,

and hath been marked out on the north, and gone out to En-Shemesh, and gone out unto Geliloth, which over-against the ascent of Adummim, and gone down the stone of Bohan son of Reuben,

18 c ontinuaba por el lado frente al Arabá hacia el norte y bajaba hasta el Arabá.

and passed over unto the side over-against Arabah northward, and gone down to Arabah;

19 E l límite seguía por el lado de Bet Hogla hacia el norte, y terminaba en la bahía norte del Mar Salado, en el extremo sur del Jordán. Este era el límite sur.

and the border hath passed over unto the side of Beth-Hoglah northward, and the outgoings of the border have been unto the north bay of the salt sea, unto the south extremity of the Jordan; this the south border;

20 E l Jordán era su límite al lado oriental. Esta fue la heredad de la tribu de Benjamín, conforme a sus familias y conforme a sus límites alrededor.

and the Jordan doth border it at the east quarter; this the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, by its borders round about, for their families.

21 L as ciudades de la tribu de Benjamín, conforme a sus familias, eran: Jericó, Bet Hogla, Emec Casis,

And the cities for the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families, have been Jericho, and Beth-Hoglah, and the valley of Keziz,

22 B et Arabá, Zemaraim, Betel (Casa de Dios),

and Beth-Arabah, Zemaraim, and Beth-El,

23 A vim, Pará, Ofra,

and Avim, and Parah, and Ophrah,

24 Q uefar Haamoni, Ofni y Geba; doce ciudades con sus aldeas.

and Chephar-Haammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities and their villages.

25 G abaón, Ramá, Beerot,

Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,

26 M izpa, Cafira, Mozah,

and Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,

27 R equem, Irpeel, Tarala,

and Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,

28 Z ela, Elef, Jebús, es decir, Jerusalén, Guibeá y Quiriat; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas. Esta fue la heredad de la tribu de Benjamín conforme a sus familias.

and Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi (it Jerusalem), Gibeath, Kirjath: fourteen cities and their villages. This the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, for their families.
