1 D espués me hizo volver a la entrada del templo; y vi que brotaban aguas de debajo del umbral del templo hacia el oriente, porque la fachada del templo daba hacia el oriente. Y las aguas descendían de debajo, del lado derecho del templo, al sur del altar.

And he causeth me to turn back unto the opening of the house; and lo, water is coming forth from under the threshold of the house eastward, for the front of the house eastward, and the water is coming down from beneath, from the right side of the house, from the south of the altar.

2 M e sacó por la puerta del norte y me hizo dar la vuelta por fuera hasta la puerta exterior, por la puerta que da al oriente. Y las aguas fluían del lado sur.

And he causeth me to go out the way of the gate northward, and causeth me to turn round the way without, unto the gate that without, the way that is looking eastward, and lo, water is coming forth from the right side.

3 C uando el hombre salió hacia el oriente con un cordel en la mano, midió 525 metros, y me hizo pasar por las aguas, con el agua hasta los tobillos.

In the going out of the man eastward, and a line in his hand, then he measureth a thousand by the cubit, and he causeth me to pass over into water -- water to the ankles.

4 M idió otros mil, y me hizo pasar por las aguas, con el agua hasta las rodillas. De nuevo midió otros mil y me hizo pasar por las aguas, con el agua hasta la cintura.

And he measureth a thousand, and causeth me to pass over into water -- water to the knees. And he measureth a thousand, and causeth me to pass over -- water to the loins.

5 Y midió otros mil; y ya era un río que yo no pude vadear, porque las aguas habían crecido, aguas que tenían que pasarse a nado, un río que no se podía vadear.

And he measureth a thousand -- a stream that I am not able to pass over; for risen have the waters -- waters to swim in -- a stream that is not passed over.

6 E ntonces me preguntó: “¿Has visto, hijo de hombre ?” Me llevó y me hizo volver a la orilla del río.

And he saith unto me, `Hast thou seen, son of man?' and he leadeth me, and bringeth me back unto the edge of the stream.

7 C uando volví, vi que en la orilla del río había muchísimos árboles a uno y otro lado.

In my turning back, then, lo, at the edge of the stream very many trees, on this side and on that side.

8 Y me dijo: “Estas aguas salen hacia la región oriental y descienden al Arabá; luego siguen hacia el mar y desembocan en el mar; entonces las aguas del mar quedan purificadas.

And he saith unto me, `These waters are going forth unto the east circuit, and have gone down unto the desert, and have entered the sea; unto the sea they are brought forth, and the waters have been healed.

9 Y sucederá que dondequiera que pase el río, todo ser viviente que en él se mueve, vivirá. Y habrá muchísimos peces, porque estas aguas van allá, y las otras son purificadas; así vivirá todo por donde pase el río.

And it hath come to pass, every living creature that teemeth, whithersoever the streams come, doth live: and there hath been great abundance of fish, for these waters have come thither, and they are healed; and every thing whither the stream cometh hath lived.

10 J unto a él se pararán los pescadores, y desde En Gadi hasta En Eglaim habrá un lugar para tender las redes. Sus peces serán según sus especies, como los peces del Mar Grande (Mar Mediterráneo), numerosísimos.

And it hath come to pass, fishers do stand by it, from En-Gedi even unto En-Eglaim; a spreading place of nets they are; according to their own kind is their fish, as the fish of the great sea, very many.

11 P ero sus pantanos y marismas no serán purificados; serán dejados para salinas.

Its miry and its marshy places -- they are not healed; to salt they have been given up.

12 J unto al río, en su orilla, a uno y otro lado, crecerán toda clase de árboles que den fruto para comer. Sus hojas no se marchitarán, ni faltará su fruto. Cada mes darán fruto porque sus aguas fluyen del santuario; su fruto será para comer y sus hojas para sanar.” Límites y División de la Tierra

And by the stream there cometh up on its edge, on this side and on that side, every fruit-tree whose leaf fadeth not, and not consumed is its fruit, according to its months it yieldeth first-fruits, because its waters from the sanctuary are coming forth; and its fruits hath been for food, and its leaf for medicine.

13 A sí dice el Señor Dios: “Estos serán los límites según los cuales repartirán la tierra por heredad entre las doce tribus de Israel; José tendrá dos partes.

`Thus said the Lord Jehovah: This the border whereby ye inherit the land, according to the twelve tribes of Israel; Joseph portions.

14 L a repartirán por heredad a cada uno en igual proporción que a su hermano; porque juré darla a sus padres, esta tierra les tocará en heredad.

And ye have inherited it, one as well as another, in that I have lifted up My hand to give it to your fathers; and this land hath fallen to you in inheritance.

15 “ Y éstos serán los límites de la tierra: Por el lado norte, desde el Mar Grande, camino de Hetlón, hasta la entrada de Zedad;

`And this the border of the land at the north quarter; from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, at the coming in to Zedad:

16 H amat, Berota, Sibraim, que está entre el territorio de Damasco y el territorio de Hamat; Hazar Haticón, que está en el límite de Haurán.

Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, that between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar-Hatticon, that at the coast of Havran.

17 E l límite se extenderá desde el mar hasta Hazar Enán en la frontera con Damasco, y en el norte, hacia el norte, hasta la frontera con Hamat; éste es el lado norte.

And the border from the sea hath been Hazar-Enan, the border of Damascus, and Zaphon at the north, and the border of Hamath: and the north quarter.

18 P or el lado oriental, entre Haurán, Damasco, Galaad y la tierra de Israel, al Jordán; medirán desde el límite norte hasta el mar oriental (Mar Muerto); éste es el lado oriental.

`And the east quarter from between Havran, and Damascus, and Gilead, and the land of Israel, the Jordan; from the border over-against the eastern sea ye measure: and the east quarter.

19 Y el lado sur, hacia el sur, se extenderá desde Tamar hasta las aguas de Meriba de Cades, hacia el torrente de Egipto, hasta el Mar Grande; éste es el lado sur, hacia el sur.

`And the south quarter southward from Tamar unto the waters of Meriboth-Kadesh, the stream unto the great sea: and the south quarter southward.

20 Y el lado occidental será el Mar Grande, desde el límite sur hasta enfrente de Lebo Hamat; éste es el lado occidental.

`And the west quarter the great sea, from the border till over-against the coming in to Hamath: this the west quarter.

21 “ Repartirán, pues, esta tierra entre ustedes según las tribus de Israel.

`And ye have divided this land to you, according to the tribes of Israel;

22 L a sortearán como heredad entre ustedes y entre los extranjeros que residen en medio de ustedes y que hayan tenido hijos entre ustedes. Y serán para ustedes como nativos entre los Israelitas; se les sorteará herencia con ustedes entre las tribus de Israel.

and it hath come to pass, ye separate it for an inheritance to yourselves, and to the sojourners who are sojourning in your midst, who have begotten sons in your midst, and they have been to you as native, with the sons of Israel, with you they are separated for an inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Israel.

23 E n la tribu en la cual el extranjero resida, allí le darán su herencia,” declara el Señor Dios.

And it hath come to pass, in the tribe with which the sojourner sojourneth, there ye give his inheritance -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
