1 E ntonces los jefes de las casas de los Levitas se acercaron al sacerdote Eleazar, a Josué, hijo de Nun, y a los jefes de las casas de las tribus de los Israelitas,

And the heads of the fathers of the Levites draw nigh unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel,

2 y les hablaron en Silo en la tierra de Canaán y les dijeron: “El Señor ordenó por medio de Moisés que se nos dieran ciudades donde habitar, con sus tierras de pasto para nuestro ganado.”

and they speak unto them in Shiloh, in the land of Canaan, saying, `Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses to give to us cities to dwell in, and their suburbs for our cattle.'

3 E ntonces los Israelitas dieron de su heredad a los Levitas estas ciudades con sus tierras de pasto, de acuerdo al mandato del Señor.

And the sons of Israel give to the Levites, out of their inheritance, at the command of Jehovah, these cities and their suburbs:

4 Y la suerte cayó en las familias de los Coatitas. Y a los hijos del sacerdote Aarón, que eran de los Levitas, les tocaron en suerte trece ciudades de la tribu de Judá, de la tribu de Simeón y de la tribu de Benjamín.

And the lot goeth out for the families of the Kohathite, and there are for the sons of Aaron the priest (of the Levites), out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, by lot thirteen cities,

5 A l resto de los hijos de Coat les tocaron en suerte diez ciudades de las familias de la tribu de Efraín, de la tribu de Dan y de la media tribu de Manasés.

and for the sons of Kohath who are left, out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, by lot ten cities:

6 A los hijos de Gersón les tocaron en suerte trece ciudades de las familias de la tribu de Isacar, de la tribu de Aser, de la tribu de Neftalí y de la media tribu de Manasés en Basán.

And for the sons of Gershon, out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, by lot, thirteen cities.

7 A los hijos de Merari les tocaron, según sus familias, doce ciudades de la tribu de Rubén, de la tribu de Gad y de la tribu de Zabulón.

For the sons of Merari, for their families,, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

8 L os Israelitas dieron por suerte a los Levitas estas ciudades con sus tierras de pasto, como el Señor había ordenado por medio de Moisés.

And the sons of Israel give to the Levites these cities and their suburbs, as Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses, by lot.

9 L es dieron estas ciudades que aquí se mencionan por nombre, de la tribu de los hijos de Judá y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón.

And they give out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, these cities which are called by name;

10 F ueron para los hijos de Aarón, una de las familias de los Coatitas, de los hijos de Leví, porque la suerte fue de ellos primero.

and they are for the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathite, of the sons of Levi, for theirs hath been the first lot;

11 L es dieron Quiriat Arba, siendo Arba el padre de Anac, es decir, Hebrón, en la región montañosa de Judá, con las tierras de pasto alrededor.

and they give to them the city of Arba father of Anak (it Hebron), in the hill-country of Judah, and its suburbs round about it;

12 P ero los campos de la ciudad y sus aldeas se los dieron a Caleb, hijo de Jefone, como propiedad suya.

and the field of the city and its villages they have given to Caleb son of Jephunneh for his possession.

13 Y a los hijos del sacerdote Aarón les dieron Hebrón, la ciudad de refugio para el que haya matado a alguien, con sus tierras de pasto, Libna con sus tierras de pasto,

And to the sons of Aaron the priest they have given the city of refuge the man-slayer, Hebron and its suburbs, and Libnah and its suburbs,

14 J atir con sus tierras de pasto, Estemoa con sus tierras de pasto,

and Jattir and its suburbs, and Eshtemoa and its suburbs,

15 H olón con sus tierras de pasto, Debir con sus tierras de pasto,

and Holon and its suburbs, and Debir and its suburbs,

16 A ín con sus tierras de pasto, Juta con sus tierras de pasto y Bet Semes con sus tierras de pasto; nueve ciudades de estas dos tribus.

and Ain and its suburbs, and Juttah and its suburbs, Beth-Shemesh and its suburbs; nine cities out of these two tribes.

17 D e la tribu de Benjamín, Gabaón con sus tierras de pasto, Geba con sus tierras de pasto,

And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon and its suburbs, Geba and its suburbs,

18 A natot con sus tierras de pasto y Almón con sus tierras de pasto; cuatro ciudades.

Anathoth and its suburbs, and Almon and its suburbs -- four cities;

19 T odas las ciudades de los sacerdotes, hijos de Aarón, eran trece ciudades con sus tierras de pasto.

all the cities of the sons of Aaron the priests, thirteen cities and their suburbs.

20 L as ciudades de la tribu de Efraín fueron dadas por suerte a las familias de los hijos de Coat, los Levitas, el resto de los hijos de Coat.

And for the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, who are left of the sons of Kohath, even the cities of their lot are of the tribe of Ephraim;

21 Y les dieron Siquem, la ciudad de refugio para el que haya matado a alguien, con sus tierras de pasto, en la región montañosa de Efraín y Gezer con sus tierras de pasto,

and they give to them the city of refuge the man-slayer, Shechem and its suburbs, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Gezer and its suburbs,

22 K ibsaim con sus tierras de pasto y Bet Horón con sus tierras de pasto; cuatro ciudades.

and Kibzaim and its suburbs, and Beth-Horon and its suburbs -- four cities.

23 D e la tribu de Dan, Elteque con sus tierras de pasto, Gibetón con sus tierras de pasto,

And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh and its suburbs, Gibbethon and its suburbs,

24 A jalón con sus tierras de pasto y Gat Rimón con sus tierras de pasto; cuatro ciudades.

Aijalon and its suburbs, Gath-Rimmon and its suburbs -- four cities.

25 D e la media tribu de Manasés, les dieron por suertes Taanac con sus tierras de pasto y Gat Rimón con sus tierras de pasto; dos ciudades.

And out of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, Taanach and its suburbs, and Gath-Rimmon and its suburbs -- two cities;

26 T odas las ciudades con sus tierras de pasto para las familias del resto de los hijos de Coat fueron diez.

all the cities ten and their suburbs, for the families of the sons of Kohath who are left.

27 P ara los hijos de Gersón, una de las familias de los Levitas, de la media tribu de Manasés, les dieron Golán en Basán, la ciudad de refugio para el que haya matado a alguien, con sus tierras de pasto y Beestera con sus tierras de pasto; dos ciudades.

32 D e la tribu de Neftalí, les dieron Cedes en Galilea, la ciudad de refugio para el que haya matado a alguien, con sus tierras de pasto, Hamot Dor con sus tierras de pasto y Cartán con sus tierras de pasto; tres ciudades.

And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the city of refuge the man-slayer, Kedesh in Galilee and its suburbs, and Hammoth-Dor and its suburbs, and Kartan and its suburbs -- three cities;

33 T odas las ciudades de los Gersonitas, conforme a sus familias, eran trece ciudades con sus tierras de pasto.

all the cities of the Gershonite, for their families, thirteen cities and their suburbs.

34 A las familias de los hijos de Merari, el resto de los Levitas, les dieron de la tribu de Zabulón, Jocneam con sus tierras de pasto, Carta con sus tierras de pasto,

And for the families of the sons of Merari, the Levites, who are left, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam and its suburbs, Kartah and its suburbs,

35 D imna con sus tierras de pasto y Naalal con sus tierras de pasto; cuatro ciudades.

Dimnah and its suburbs, Nahalal and its suburbs -- four cities.

38 D e la tribu de Gad, les dieron Ramot en Galaad, la ciudad de refugio para el que haya matado a alguien, con sus tierras de pasto, Mahanaim con sus tierras de pasto,

And out of the tribe of Gad, the city of refuge the man-slayer, Ramoth in Gilead and its suburbs, and Mahanaim and its suburbs,

39 H esbón con sus tierras de pasto y Jazer con sus tierras de pasto; cuatro ciudades en total.

Heshbon and its suburbs, Jazer and its suburbs -- all four cities.

40 T odas estas fueron las ciudades de los hijos de Merari conforme a sus familias, el resto de las familias de los Levitas y su suerte fue doce ciudades.

All the cities for the sons of Merari, for their families, who are left of the families of the Levites -- their lot is twelve cities.

41 T odas las ciudades de los Levitas en medio de la posesión de los Israelitas fueron cuarenta y ocho ciudades con sus tierras de pasto.

All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel forty and eight cities, and their suburbs.

42 C ada una de estas ciudades tenía sus tierras de pasto alrededor; así fue con todas estas ciudades.

These cities are each city and its suburbs round about it; so to all these cities.

43 D e esa manera el Señor dio a Israel toda la tierra que había jurado dar a sus padres, y la poseyeron y habitaron en ella.

And Jehovah giveth to Israel the whole of the land which He hath sworn to give to their fathers, and they possess it, and dwell in it;

44 Y el Señor les dio reposo en derredor, conforme a todo lo que había jurado a sus padres. Ninguno de sus enemigos pudo hacerles frente; el Señor entregó a todos sus enemigos en sus manos.

and Jehovah giveth rest to them round about, according to all that which He hath sworn to their fathers, and there hath not stood a man in their presence of all their enemies, the whole of their enemies hath Jehovah given into their hand;

45 N o faltó ni una palabra de las buenas promesas que el Señor había hecho a la casa de Israel. Todas se cumplieron.

there hath not fallen a thing of all the good thing which Jehovah spake unto the house of Israel -- the whole hath come.
