And he maketh an altar of brass, twenty cubits its length, and twenty cubits its breadth, and ten cubits its height.

2 H izo también el mar de metal fundido, de 4. 5 metros de borde a borde, en forma circular; su altura era de 2. 25 metros y su circunferencia de 13. 5 metros.

And he maketh the molten sea; ten by the cubit, from its edge unto its edge, round in compass, and five by the cubit its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it, round about.

And the likeness of oxen under it, all round about encompassing it, ten in the cubit, compassing the sea round about; two rows of oxen are cast in its being cast.

4 E l mar descansaba sobre doce bueyes; tres mirando al norte, tres mirando al occidente, tres mirando al sur y tres mirando al oriente; el mar descansaba sobre ellos y todas sus ancas estaban hacia adentro.

It is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea upon them above, and all their hinder parts within.

5 S u grueso era de un palmo, y su borde estaba hecho como el borde de un cáliz, como una flor de lirio; tenía capacidad para 66, 000 litros (3, 000 batos).

And its thickness a handbreadth, and its lip as the work of the lip of a cup flowered with lilies; taking hold -- baths three thousand it containeth.

6 H izo también diez pilas para lavar, y puso cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda para lavar las cosas para el holocausto; pero el mar era para que los sacerdotes se lavaran en él.

And he maketh ten lavers, and putteth five on the right, and five on the left, to wash with them; the work of the burnt-offering they purge with them; and the sea for priests to wash with.

7 E ntonces hizo los diez candelabros de oro según su diseño y los puso en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda.

And he maketh the ten candlesticks of gold, according to their ordinance, and placeth in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left.

8 H izo además diez mesas y las colocó en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda. Hizo también 100 tazones de oro.

And he maketh ten tables, and placeth in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left; and he maketh bowls of gold a hundred.

9 D espués hizo el atrio de los sacerdotes, el gran atrio y las puertas para el atrio, y revistió las puertas de bronce.

And he maketh the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and their doors he hath overlaid with brass.

10 Y puso el mar al lado derecho de la casa, hacia el sureste.

And the sea he hath placed on the right shoulder eastward, over-against the south.

11 H iram hizo también los calderos, las palas y los tazones. Así terminó Hiram la obra que hizo para el rey Salomón en la casa de Dios:

And Huram maketh the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls, and Huram finisheth to make the work that he made for king Solomon in the house of God;

12 l as dos columnas, los tazones y los capiteles en lo alto de las dos columnas, y las dos mallas para cubrir los dos tazones de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas,

two pillars, and the bowls, and the crowns on the heads of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two bowls of the crowns that on the heads of the pillars;

13 y las 400 granadas para las dos mallas, dos hileras de granadas para cada malla, para cubrir los dos tazones de los capiteles que estaban sobre las columnas.

and the pomegranates four hundred to the two wreaths, two rows of pomegranates to the one wreath, to cover the two bowls of the crowns that on the front of the pillars.

14 H izo también las basas, e hizo las pilas sobre las basas,

And the bases he hath made; and the lavers he hath made on the bases;

15 y el mar con los doce bueyes debajo de él.

the one sea, and the twelve oxen under it,

16 L os calderos, las palas, los garfios y todos sus utensilios los hizo de bronce pulido Hiram Abí para el rey Salomón, para la casa del Señor.

and the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their vessels, hath Huram his father made for king Solomon, for the house of Jehovah, of brass purified.

17 E l rey los fundió en la llanura del Jordán, en la tierra arcillosa entre Sucot y Seredata.

In the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zeredathah.

18 S alomón hizo todos estos utensilios en gran cantidad, de tal manera que el peso del bronce no se pudo determinar.

And Solomon maketh all these vessels in great abundance, that the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.

19 S alomón hizo también todas las cosas que estaban en la casa de Dios: el altar de oro, las mesas con el pan de la Presencia sobre ellas,

And Solomon maketh all the vessels that the house of God, and the altar of gold, and the tables, and on them bread of the presence;

20 l os candelabros con sus lámparas de oro puro, para que ardieran frente al santuario interior en la manera designada;

and the candlesticks, and their lamps, for their burning according to the ordinance, before the oracle, of gold refined;

21 l as flores, las lámparas y las tenazas de oro, de oro purísimo;

and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold -- it the perfection of gold;

22 y las despabiladeras, los tazones, las cucharas y los incensarios de oro puro. La entrada de la casa, sus puertas interiores para el Lugar Santísimo y las puertas de la casa para la nave eran también de oro.

and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of gold refined, and the opening of the house, its innermost doors to the holy of holies, and the doors of the house to the temple, of gold.
