1 C uando Jesús bajó del monte, grandes multitudes Lo seguían.

And when he came down from the mount, great multitudes did follow him,

2 Y se acercó un leproso y se postró ante El, diciendo: “Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme.”

and lo, a leper having come, was bowing to him, saying, `Sir, if thou art willing, thou art able to cleanse me;'

3 E xtendiendo Jesús la mano, lo tocó, diciendo: “Quiero; sé limpio.” Y al instante quedó limpio de su lepra.

and having stretched forth the hand, Jesus touched him, saying, `I will, be thou cleansed,' and immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

4 E ntonces Jesús le dijo: “Mira, no se lo digas a nadie, sino ve, muéstrate al sacerdote y presenta la ofrenda que ordenó Moisés, para que les sirva de testimonio a ellos.” Jesús Sana al Criado del Centurión

And Jesus saith to him, `See, thou mayest tell no one, but go, thyself shew to the priest, and bring the gift that Moses commanded for a testimony to them.'

5 A l entrar Jesús en Capernaúm, se acercó un centurión y Le suplicó:

And Jesus having entered into Capernaum, there came to him a centurion calling upon him,

6 “ Señor, mi criado está postrado en casa, paralítico, sufriendo mucho.”

and saying, `Sir, my young man hath been laid in the house a paralytic, fearfully afflicted,'

7 Y Jesús le dijo: “Yo iré y lo sanaré.”

and Jesus saith to him, `I, having come, will heal him.'

8 P ero el centurión respondió: “Señor, no soy digno de que Tú entres bajo mi techo; solamente di la palabra y mi criado quedará sano.

And the centurion answering said, `Sir, I am not worthy that thou mayest enter under my roof, but only say a word, and my servant shall be healed;

9 P orque yo también soy hombre bajo autoridad, con soldados a mis órdenes; y digo a éste: ‘Ve,’ y va; y al otro: ‘Ven,’ y viene; y a mi siervo: ‘Haz esto,’ y lo hace.”

for I also am a man under authority, having under myself soldiers, and I say to this one, Go, and he goeth, and to another, Be coming, and he cometh, and to my servant, Do this, and he doth.'

10 A l oír lo Jesús, se maravilló y dijo a los que Lo seguían: “En verdad les digo que en Israel no he hallado en nadie una fe tan grande.

And Jesus having heard, did wonder, and said to those following, `Verily I say to you, not even in Israel so great faith have I found;

11 Y les digo que vendrán muchos del oriente y del occidente, y se sentarán a la mesa con Abraham, Isaac y Jacob en el reino de los cielos.

and I say to you, that many from east and west shall come and recline (at meat) with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the reign of the heavens,

12 P ero los hijos del reino serán arrojados a las tinieblas de afuera; allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes.”

but the sons of the reign shall be cast forth to the outer darkness -- there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.'

13 E ntonces Jesús dijo al centurión: “Vete; así como has creído, te sea hecho.” Y el criado fue sanado en esa misma hora. Jesús Sana a la Suegra de Pedro y a Muchos Otros

And Jesus said to the centurion, `Go, and as thou didst believe let it be to thee;' and his young man was healed in that hour.

14 C uando Jesús llegó a casa de Pedro, vio a la suegra de éste que estaba en cama con fiebre.

And Jesus having come into the house of Peter, saw his mother-in-law laid, and fevered,

15 L e tocó la mano, y la fiebre la dejó; y ella se levantó y Le servía.

and he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she arose, and was ministering to them.

16 Y al atardecer, Le trajeron muchos endemoniados; y expulsó a los espíritus con Su palabra, y sanó a todos los que estaban enfermos,

And evening having come, they brought to him many demoniacs, and he did cast out the spirits with a word, and did heal all who were ill,

17 p ara que se cumpliera lo que fue dicho por medio del profeta Isaías cuando dijo: “ El tomo nuestras flaquezas y llevo nuestras enfermedades.” Lo que Demanda el Discipulado

that it might be fulfilled that was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, `Himself took our infirmities, and the sicknesses he did bear.'

18 V iendo Jesús una multitud a Su alrededor, dio orden de pasar al otro lado del mar.

And Jesus having seen great multitudes about him, did command to depart to the other side;

19 Y un escriba se acercó y Le dijo: “Maestro, Te seguiré adondequiera que vayas.”

and a certain scribe having come, said to him, `Teacher, I will follow thee wherever thou mayest go;'

20 J esús le respondió: “Las zorras tienen madrigueras (cuevas) y las aves del cielo nidos, pero el Hijo del Hombre no tiene dónde recostar la cabeza.”

and Jesus saith to him, `The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven places of rest, but the Son of Man hath not where he may lay the head.'

21 O tro de los discípulos Le dijo: “Señor, permíteme que vaya primero y entierre a mi padre.”

And another of his disciples said to him, `Sir, permit me first to depart and to bury my father;'

22 P ero Jesús le contestó: “Ven tras Mí, y deja que los muertos entierren a sus muertos.” Jesús Calma la Tempestad

and Jesus said to him, `Follow me, and suffer the dead to bury their own dead.'

23 C uando entró Jesús en la barca, Sus discípulos Lo siguieron.

And when he entered into the boat his disciples did follow him,

24 Y de pronto se desató una gran tormenta en el mar de Galilea, de modo que las olas cubrían la barca; pero Jesús estaba dormido.

and lo, a great tempest arose in the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves, but he was sleeping,

25 L legándose a El, Lo despertaron, diciendo: “¡Señor, sálva nos, que perecemos!”

and his disciples having come to him, awoke him, saying, `Sir, save us; we are perishing.'

26 Y El les contestó: “¿Por qué tienen miedo, hombres de poca fe ?” Entonces Jesús se levantó, reprendió a los vientos y al mar, y sobrevino una gran calma.

And he saith to them, `Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?' Then having risen, he rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm;

27 L os hombres se maravillaron, y decían: “¿Quién es Este, que aun los vientos y el mar Lo obedecen?” Los Endemoniados Gadarenos

and the men wondered, saying, `What kind -- is this, that even the wind and the sea do obey him?'

28 A l llegar Jesús al otro lado, a la tierra de los Gadarenos, fueron a Su encuentro dos endemoniados que salían de los sepulcros, violentos en extremo, de manera que nadie podía pasar por aquel camino.

And he having come to the other side, to the region of the Gergesenes, there met him two demoniacs, coming forth out of the tombs, very fierce, so that no one was able to pass over by that way,

29 Y gritaron: “¿Qué hay entre Tú y nosotros, Hijo de Dios ? ¿Has venido aquí para atormentarnos antes del tiempo (designado para el juicio)?”

and lo, they cried out, saying, `What -- to us and to thee, Jesus, Son of God? didst thou come hither, before the time, to afflict us?'

30 A cierta distancia de ellos estaba paciendo una manada de muchos cerdos;

And there was far off from them a herd of many swine feeding,

31 y los demonios Le rogaban: “Si vas a echarnos fuera, mándanos a la manada de cerdos.”

and the demons were calling on him, saying, `If thou dost cast us forth, permit us to go away to the herd of the swine;'

32 “ ¡Vayan!” les dijo Jesús. Y ellos salieron y entraron en los cerdos; y la manada entera se precipitó por un despeñadero al mar, y perecieron en las aguas.

and he saith to them, `Go.' And having come forth, they went to the herd of the swine, and lo, the whole herd of the swine rushed down the steep, to the sea, and died in the waters,

33 L os que cuidaban la manada huyeron; y fueron a la ciudad y lo contaron todo, incluso lo de los endemoniados.

and those feeding did flee, and, having gone to the city, they declared all, and the matter of the demoniacs.

34 Y toda la ciudad salió al encuentro de Jesús; y cuando Lo vieron, Le rogaron que se fuera de su región.

And lo, all the city came forth to meet Jesus, and having seen him, they called on that he might depart from their borders.
