1 S alomón edificó su propia casa (su palacio), y en trece años la terminó toda.

And his own house hath Solomon built thirteen years, and he finisheth all his house.

2 E dificó la casa del bosque del Líbano, que tenía 45 metros de largo, 22. 5 metros de ancho y 13. 5 metros de alto, sobre cuatro hileras de columnas de cedro con vigas de cedro sobre las columnas.

And he buildeth the house of the forest of Lebanon; a hundred cubits its length, and fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height, on four rows of cedar pillars, and cedar-beams on the pillars;

3 E staba cubierta de cedro sobre las cámaras laterales que estaban sobre las 45 columnas, 15 en cada hilera.

and covered with cedar above, on the sides that on the forty and five pillars, fifteen in the row.

4 Y había tres hileras de ventanas con celosías, una ventana frente a la otra en tres filas.

And windows in three rows, and sight over-against sight three times.

5 T odas las puertas y los postes tenían marcos cuadrados, una ventana frente a la otra en tres filas.

And all the openings and the side-posts square -- windows; and sight over-against sight three times.

6 S alomón hizo el pórtico de las columnas de 22. 5 metros de largo y 13. 5 metros de ancho. Había otro pórtico delante de ellas, con columnas y un umbral delante de ellas.

And the porch of the pillars he hath made; fifty cubits its length, and thirty cubits its breadth, and the porch before them, and pillars and a thick place before them.

7 T ambién hizo el pórtico del trono donde había de juzgar, el pórtico del juicio, que fue cubierto de cedro desde el suelo hasta el techo.

And the porch of the throne where he judgeth -- the porch of judgment -- he hath made, and covered with cedar from the floor unto the floor.

8 Y la casa (el palacio) donde él había de vivir, tenía un atrio dentro del pórtico, de la misma hechura. Salomón también hizo una casa (un palacio) con un pórtico similar, para la hija de Faraón que él había tomado por mujer.

As to his house where he dwelleth, the other court within the porch -- as this work it hath been; and a house he maketh for the daughter of Pharaoh -- whom Solomon hath taken -- like this porch.

9 T odas estas obras eran de piedras valiosas, cortadas a la medida, cortadas con sierras por dentro y por fuera, desde el cimiento hasta la cornisa, y por fuera hasta el gran atrio.

All these of precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, sawn with a saw, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and at the outside, unto the great court.

10 E l cimiento era de piedras valiosas, piedras grandes, piedras de 4. 5 metros y piedras de 3. 6 metros.

And the foundation of precious stone, great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits;

11 Y más arriba había piedras valiosas, cortadas a la medida, y madera de cedro.

and above precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, and cedar;

12 E l gran atrio tenía en derredor tres hileras de piedras talladas y una hilera de vigas de cedro, igual que el atrio interior de la casa del Señor y el pórtico de la casa. La Obra de Hiram en el Templo

and the great court round about three rows of hewn work, and a row of cedar-beams, even for the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and for the porch of the house.

13 Y el rey Salomón envió a buscar a Hiram de Tiro.

And king Solomon sendeth and taketh Hiram out of Tyre --

14 E ste era hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftalí, y su padre era un hombre de Tiro, artífice en bronce. Estaba lleno de sabiduría, inteligencia y pericia para hacer cualquier obra en bronce. Y él vino al rey Salomón e hizo toda su obra.

he son of a woman, a widow, of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father a man of Tyre, a worker in brass, and he is filled with the wisdom and the understanding, and the knowledge to do all work in brass -- and he cometh unto king Solomon, and doth all his work.

15 F undió las dos columnas de bronce; la altura de una columna era de 8. 1 metros, y un cordel de 5. 4 metros medía la circunferencia de las dos.

And he formeth the two pillars of brass; eighteen cubits the height of the one pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits doth compass the second pillar.

16 H izo también dos capiteles de bronce fundido para colocarlos en las cabezas de las columnas. La altura de un capitel era de 2. 25 metros y la del otro capitel era de 2. 25 metros.

And two chapiters he hath made to put on the tops of the pillars, cast in brass; five cubits the height of the one chapiter, and five cubits the height of the second chapiter.

17 H abía redes de obra de malla y trenzas de obra de cadenilla para los capiteles que estaban en la cima de las columnas; siete para un capitel y siete para el otro capitel.

Nets of net-work, wreaths of chain-work for the chapiters that on the top of the pillars, seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the second chapiter.

18 A sí hizo las columnas y dos hileras alrededor de la malla que cubría los capiteles que estaban sobre las granadas; y así hizo para el otro capitel.

And he maketh the pillars, and two rows round about on the one net-work, to cover the chapiters that on the top, with the pomegranates, and so he hath made for the second chapiter.

19 L os capiteles que estaban en las cabezas de las columnas del pórtico tenían forma de lirios, y medían 1. 6 metros.

And the chapiters that on the top of the pillars of lily-work in the porch, four cubits;

20 H abía también capiteles sobre las dos columnas, junto a la protuberancia que estaba al lado de la malla; y había 200 granadas en hileras alrededor de los dos capiteles.

and the chapiters on the two pillars also above, over-against the protuberance that beside the net; and the pomegranates two hundred, in rows round about on the second chapiter.

21 E rigió, pues, las columnas en el pórtico de la nave. Erigió la columna derecha y la llamó Jaquín, y erigió la columna izquierda y la llamó Boaz.

And he raiseth up the pillars for the porch of the temple, and he raiseth up the right pillar, and calleth its name Jachin, and he raiseth up the left pillar, and calleth its name Boaz;

22 E n lo alto de las columnas había lirios tallados. Así fue terminada la obra de las columnas.

and on the top of the pillars lily-work; and the work of the pillars completed.

23 H izo asimismo el mar de metal fundido de 4. 5 metros de borde a borde, en forma circular. Su altura era de 2. 25 metros, y tenía 13. 5 metros de circunferencia.

And he maketh the molten sea, ten by the cubit from its edge unto its edge; round all about, and five by the cubit its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it round about;

It is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea upon them above, and all their hinder parts inward.

26 E l grueso era de un palmo, y el borde estaba hecho como el borde de un cáliz, como una flor de lirio. Tenía capacidad para 2, 000 batos (44, 000 litros).

And its thickness an handbreadth, and its edge as the work of the edge of a cup, flowers of lilies; two thousand baths it containeth.

27 E ntonces hizo las diez basas de bronce; la longitud de cada basa era de 1. 6 metros, su anchura de 1. 6 metros y su altura de 1. 35 metros.

And he maketh the ten bases of brass; four by the cubit the length of the one base, and four by the cubit its breadth, and three by the cubit its height.

28 E l diseño de las basas era éste: tenían bordes y los bordes estaban entre las molduras,

And this the work of the base: they have borders, and the borders between the joinings;

29 y en los bordes que estaban entre las molduras había leones, bueyes y querubines; y en las molduras había un pedestal arriba, y debajo de los leones y bueyes había guirnaldas en bajorrelieve.

and on the borders that between the joinings lions, oxen, and cherubs, and on the joinings a base above, and beneath the lions and the oxen additions -- sloping work.

30 C ada basa tenía cuatro ruedas de bronce, con ejes de bronce, y sus cuatro patas tenían soportes. Debajo de la pila había soportes fundidos con guirnaldas a cada lado.

And four wheels of brass to the one base, and axles of brass; and its four corners have shoulders -- under the laver the molten shoulders, beside each addition.

And its mouth within the chapiter and above by the cubit, and its mouth round, the work of the base, a cubit and half a cubit; and also on its mouth carvings and their borders, square, not round.

And the four wheels under the borders, and the spokes of the wheels in the base, and the height of the one wheel a cubit and half a cubit.

And the work of the wheels as the work of the wheel of a chariot, their spokes, and their axles, and their felloes, and their naves; the whole molten.

34 H abía cuatro soportes en las cuatro esquinas de cada basa; sus soportes eran parte de la basa misma.

And four shoulders unto the four corners of the one base; out of the base its shoulders.

35 E n la parte superior de la basa había una pieza redonda de 23 centímetros de alto, y en la parte superior de la basa sus soportes y sus bordes formaban parte de ella.

And in the top of the base the half of a cubit in the height all round about; and on the top of the base its spokes and its borders of the same.

36 Y en las planchas de sus soportes y en sus bordes grabó querubines, leones y palmeras, conforme al espacio disponible de cada una, con guirnaldas alrededor.

And he openeth on the tablets of its spokes, and on its borders, cherubs, lions, and palm-trees, according to the void space of each, and additions round about.

37 H izo las diez basas de esta manera: todas ellas eran de una misma fundición, de una misma medida y de una misma forma.

Thus he hath made the ten bases; one casting, one measure, one form, have they all.

38 T ambién hizo diez pilas de bronce. En cada pila cabían cuarenta batos (880 litros); cada pila medía 1. 6 metros, y sobre cada una de las diez basas había una pila.

And he maketh ten lavers of brass; forty baths doth the one laver contain, four by the cubit the one laver, one laver on the one base to the ten bases;

39 E ntonces colocó las basas, cinco al lado derecho de la casa y cinco al lado izquierdo de la casa. El mar de metal fundido lo colocó al lado derecho de la casa hacia el sureste.

and he putteth the five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house, and the sea he hath put on the right side of the house, eastward -- over-against the south.

40 H iram hizo también los calderos, las palas y los tazones. Así terminó Hiram toda la obra que hizo para el rey Salomón en la casa del Señor:

And Hiram maketh the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls; and Hiram completeth to do all the work that he made for king Solomon, the house of Jehovah;

and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls; and all these vessels, that Hiram hath made to king Solomon the house of Jehovah, of brass -- polished.

46 E l rey los fundió en la llanura del Jordán, en la tierra arcillosa entre Sucot y Saretán.

In the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zarthan.

47 S alomón dejó todos los utensilios sin pesarlos porque eran demasiados. El peso del bronce no se pudo determinar.

And Solomon placeth the whole of the vessels; because of the very great abundance, the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.

48 S alomón hizo todos los utensilios que estaban en la casa del Señor: el altar de oro y la mesa de oro sobre la cual estaba el pan de la Presencia;

And Solomon maketh all the vessels that in the house of Jehovah: the altar of gold, and the table -- on which the bread of the Presence -- of gold,

49 l os candelabros de oro puro, cinco a la mano derecha y cinco a la izquierda, frente al santuario interior; las flores, las lámparas y las tenazas de oro;

and the candlesticks, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle, of refined gold, and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold,

50 l as copas, las despabiladeras, los tazones, las cucharas y los incensarios de oro puro; y los goznes para las puertas de la casa interior, el Lugar Santísimo, y para las puertas de la casa, es decir, de la nave, también de oro.

and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.

51 A sí fue terminada toda la obra que el rey Salomón hizo en la casa del Señor. Y Salomón trajo las cosas consagradas por su padre David, es decir, la plata, el oro y los utensilios, y los puso en los tesoros de la casa del Señor.

And it is complete -- all the work that king Solomon hath made the house of Jehovah, and Solomon bringeth in the sanctified things of David his father; the silver, and the gold, and the vessels he hath put in the treasuries of the house of Jehovah.
