Not to us, O Jehovah, not to us, But to Thy name give honour, For Thy kindness, for Thy truth.

2 ¿ Por qué han de decir las naciones: ¿Dónde está ahora su Dios ?

Why do the nations say, `Where, pray, their God.

3 N uestro Dios está en los cielos; El hace lo que Le place.

And our God in the heavens, All that He hath pleased He hath done.

4 L os ídolos de ellos son plata y oro, Obra de manos de hombre.

Their idols silver and gold, work of man's hands,

5 T ienen boca, y no hablan; Tienen ojos, y no ven;

A mouth they have, and they speak not, Eyes they have, and they see not,

6 T ienen oídos, y no oyen; Tienen nariz, y no huelen;

Ears they have, and they hear not, A nose they have, and they smell not,

7 T ienen manos, y no tocan; Tienen pies, y no caminan; No emiten sonido alguno con su garganta.

Their hands, but they handle not, Their feet, and they walk not;

8 S e volverán como ellos los que los hacen, Y todos los que en ellos confían.

Nor do they mutter through their throat, Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.

9 O h Israel, confía en el Señor; El es tu ayuda y tu escudo.

O Israel, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield He.'

10 O h casa de Aarón, confíen ustedes en el Señor; El es su ayuda y su escudo.

O house of Aaron, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield He.'

11 L os que temen (reverencian) al Señor, confíen en el Señor; El es su ayuda y su escudo.

Ye fearing Jehovah, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield He.'

12 E l Señor se ha acordado de nosotros; El nos bendecirá; Bendecirá a la casa de Israel; Bendecirá a la casa de Aarón.

Jehovah hath remembered us, He blesseth, He blesseth the house of Israel, He blesseth the house of Aaron,

13 E l bendecirá a los que temen al Señor, Tanto a pequeños como a grandes.

He blesseth those fearing Jehovah, The small with the great.

14 E l Señor los prospere, A ustedes y a sus hijos.

Jehovah addeth to you, to you, and to your sons.

15 B enditos sean del Señor, Que hizo los cielos y la tierra.

Blessed ye of Jehovah, maker of heaven and earth,

16 L os cielos son los cielos del Señor, Pero la tierra la ha dado a los hijos de los hombres.

The heavens -- the heavens Jehovah's, And the earth He hath given to sons of men,

17 L os muertos no alaban al Señor, Ni ninguno de los que descienden al silencio.

The dead praise not Jah, Nor any going down to silence.

18 P ero nosotros bendeciremos al Señor Desde ahora y para siempre. ¡Aleluya!
