2 P or boca de los infantes y de los niños de pecho has establecido Tu fortaleza, Por causa de Tus adversarios, Para hacer cesar al enemigo y al vengativo.

From the mouths of infants and sucklings Thou hast founded strength, Because of Thine adversaries, To still an enemy and a self-avenger.

3 C uando veo Tus cielos, obra de Tus dedos, La luna y las estrellas que Tú has establecido,

For I see Thy heavens, a work of Thy fingers, Moon and stars that Thou didst establish.

4 D igo: ¿Qué es el hombre para que Te acuerdes de él, Y el hijo del hombre para que lo cuides ?

What man that Thou rememberest him? The son of man that Thou inspectest him?

5 ¡ Sin embargo, lo has hecho un poco menor que los ángeles, Y lo coronas de gloria y majestad!

And causest him to lack a little of Godhead, And with honour and majesty compassest him.

6 T ú le haces señorear sobre las obras de Tus manos; Todo lo has puesto bajo sus pies:

Thou dost cause him to rule Over the works of Thy hands, All Thou hast placed under his feet.

7 T odas las ovejas y los bueyes, Y también las bestias del campo,

Sheep and oxen, all of them, And also beasts of the field,

8 L as aves de los cielos y los peces del mar, Cuanto atraviesa las sendas de los mares.

Bird of the heavens, and fish of the sea, Passing through the paths of the seas!

9 ¡ Oh Señor, Señor nuestro, Cuán glorioso es Tu nombre en toda la tierra!

Jehovah, our Lord, How honourable Thy name in all the earth!
