1 N o somos nosotros, Señor, no somos nosotros dignos de nada. ¡Es tu nombre el que merece la gloria por tu misericordia y tu verdad!

Why do the nations say, `Where, pray, their God.

3 N uestro Dios está en los cielos, y él hace todo lo que quiere hacer.

And our God in the heavens, All that He hath pleased He hath done.

4 L os dioses de ellos son de oro y plata; son producto de la mano del hombre.

Their idols silver and gold, work of man's hands,

5 T ienen boca, pero no hablan; tienen ojos, pero no ven;

A mouth they have, and they speak not, Eyes they have, and they see not,

6 t ienen orejas, pero no oyen; tienen narices, pero no huelen;

Ears they have, and they hear not, A nose they have, and they smell not,

7 t ienen manos, pero no palpan; tienen pies, pero no caminan; ¡de su garganta no sale ningún sonido!

Their hands, but they handle not, Their feet, and they walk not;

8 ¡ Iguales a ellos son quienes los fabrican, y todos los que en ellos ponen su confianza!

Nor do they mutter through their throat, Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.

9 P ueblo de Israel, confía en el Señor; él es quien te ayuda y te protege.

O Israel, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield He.'

10 U stedes los sacerdotes, confíen en el Señor; él es quien los ayuda y los protege.

O house of Aaron, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield He.'

11 U stedes, temerosos del Señor, confíen en él; él es quien los ayuda y los protege.

Ye fearing Jehovah, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield He.'

12 E l Señor no nos olvida, y nos bendecirá; bendecirá al pueblo de Israel; bendecirá a los descendientes de Aarón;

Jehovah hath remembered us, He blesseth, He blesseth the house of Israel, He blesseth the house of Aaron,

13 b endecirá a los que le temen; bendecirá a los débiles y a los poderosos.

He blesseth those fearing Jehovah, The small with the great.

14 E l Señor añadirá sus bendiciones sobre ustedes y sobre sus hijos.

Jehovah addeth to you, to you, and to your sons.

15 ¡ Benditos sean ustedes por el Señor, creador del cielo y de la tierra!

Blessed ye of Jehovah, maker of heaven and earth,

16 L os cielos son los cielos del Señor; a los mortales nos ha dado la tierra.

The heavens -- the heavens Jehovah's, And the earth He hath given to sons of men,

17 L os muertos, los que han bajado al sepulcro, ya no pueden alabar al Señor;

The dead praise not Jah, Nor any going down to silence.

18 p ero nosotros, los que aún vivimos, alabaremos al Señor ahora y siempre. ¡Aleluya!
