1 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 « Dales estas instrucciones a los hijos de Israel: “Cuando ustedes hayan entrado en la tierra de Canaán, es decir, en la tierra que les voy a dar en posesión, sus límites serán,

`Command the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye are coming in unto the land of Canaan -- this the land which falleth to you by inheritance, the land of Canaan, by its borders --

3 p or el sur, desde el desierto de Zin hasta la frontera de Edom, al este, siendo su límite el extremo sur del Mar Salado.

then hath the south quarter been to you from the wilderness of Zin, by the sides of Edom, yea, the south border hath been to you from the extremity of the Salt Sea, eastward;

4 E sta frontera dará un rodeo desde el sur hasta la cuesta de Acrabín, pasará por Zin, y del sur se extenderá hasta Cadés Barnea, llegando hasta Jazar Adar, y seguirá hasta Asmón;

and the border hath turned round to you from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and hath passed on to Zin, and its outgoings have been from the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and it hath gone out at Hazar-Addar, and hath passed on to Azmon;

5 d e Asmón seguirá hasta el torrente de Egipto, y terminará en el oeste.

and the border hath turned round from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

6 » ”La frontera occidental será el Mar Grande.

`As to the west border, even the great sea hath been to you a border; this is to you the west border.

7 » ”La frontera norte partirá del Mar Grande en línea recta hasta el monte Hor.

`And this is to you the north border: from the great sea ye mark out for yourselves mount Hor;

8 D el monte Hor trazarán una línea hasta la entrada de Jamat, y la frontera seguirá hasta Zedad,

from mount Hor ye mark out to go in to Hamath, and the outgoings of the border have been to Zedad;

9 c ontinuando hasta Zifrón, y terminará en Jasar Enán. Ésta será la frontera norte.

and the border hath gone out to Ziphron, and its outgoings have been at Hazar-Enan; this is to you the north border.

10 » ”Para la frontera este trazarán una línea desde Jasar Enán hasta Sefán,

`And ye have marked out for yourselves for the border eastward, from Hazar-Enan to Shepham;

11 b ajando de Sefán a Ribla, al este de Ayin; y siguiendo hasta llegar a la costa oriental del mar de Cineret.

and the border hath gone down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east of Ain, and the border hath gone down, and hath smitten against the shoulder of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;

12 D e allí la frontera bajará al Jordán, y terminará en el Mar Salado. Ésta será su tierra y sus fronteras alrededor.”»

and the border hath gone down to the Jordan, and its outgoings have been at the Salt Sea; this is for you the land by its borders round about.'

13 M oisés les dio estas instrucciones a los hijos de Israel, y les dijo: «Ésta es la tierra que se repartirá entre ustedes por sorteo. El Señor ha ordenado que se reparta entre las nueve tribus y media,

And Moses commandeth the sons of Israel, saying, `This the land which ye inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give to the nine tribes and the half of the tribe;

14 p ues ya han tomado posesión de sus terrenos la tribu de los hijos de Rubén, según las familias de sus antepasados, y la tribu de los hijos de Gad, según las familias de sus antepasados, y la media tribu de Manasés.

for the tribe of the sons of Reuben have received, by the house of their fathers; and the tribe of the children of Gad, by the house of their fathers; and the half of the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance;

15 D os tribus y media tomaron su heredad en esta ribera oriental del Jordán, frente a Jericó, por donde sale el sol.»

the two tribes and the half of the tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan, Jericho, eastward, at the -rising.'

16 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

17 « Aquí están los nombres de quienes se encargarán de repartir la tierra: »El sacerdote Eleazar, y Josué hijo de Nun.

`These the names of the men who give to you the inheritance of the land: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun,

18 » Tomarán además un príncipe de cada tribu, para que les dé posesión de la tierra.

and one prince -- one prince -- for a tribe ye do take to give the land by inheritance.

19 É stos son sus nombres: »De la tribu de Judá, Caleb hijo de Yefune.

`And these the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

20 » De la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Semuel hijo de Amiud.

and of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Aminihud;

21 » De la tribu de Benjamín, Elidad hijo de Quislón.

of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;

22 » De la tribu de los hijos de Dan, el príncipe Buqui hijo de Yoglí.

and of the tribe of the sons of Dan, the prince Bukki son of Jogli;

23 » De los hijos de José: de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, el príncipe Janiel hijo de Efod,

of the sons of Joseph, of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel son of Ephod;

24 y de la tribu de los hijos de Efraín, el príncipe Kemuel hijo de Siftán.

and of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel son of Shiphtan;

25 » De la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, el príncipe Elisafán hijo de Parnac.

and of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan son of Parnach;

26 » De la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, el príncipe Paltiel hijo de Azán.

and of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince Paltiel son of Azzan;

27 » De la tribu de los hijos de Aser, el príncipe Ajiud hijo de Selomi.

and of the tribe of the sons of Asher, the prince Ahihud son of Shelomi;

28 » De la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, el príncipe Pedael hijo de Amiud.»

and of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel son of Ammihud.'

29 A éstos el Señor les ordenó hacer la repartición de tierras para los hijos de Israel en la tierra de Canaán.

These those whom Jehovah hath commanded to give the sons of Israel inheritance in the land of Canaan.
