1 E ntonces habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 M anda a los hijos de Israel y diles: “Cuando entréis en la tierra de Canaán, esta es la tierra que os tocará como herencia, la tierra de Canaán según sus fronteras.

`Command the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye are coming in unto the land of Canaan -- this the land which falleth to you by inheritance, the land of Canaan, by its borders --

3 “ Vuestro límite sur será desde el desierto de Zin, por la frontera de Edom, y vuestra frontera sur será desde el extremo del mar Salado hacia el oriente.

then hath the south quarter been to you from the wilderness of Zin, by the sides of Edom, yea, the south border hath been to you from the extremity of the Salt Sea, eastward;

4 “ Luego, vuestra frontera cambiará de dirección, del sur a la subida de Acrabim y continuará a Zin, y su término será al sur de Cades-barnea; y llegará a Hasaradar y continuará hasta Asmón.

and the border hath turned round to you from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and hath passed on to Zin, and its outgoings have been from the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and it hath gone out at Hazar-Addar, and hath passed on to Azmon;

5 “ Y la frontera cambiará de dirección de Asmón al torrente de Egipto, y su término será el mar.

and the border hath turned round from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

6 “ En cuanto a la frontera occidental, tendréis el mar Grande, esto es, su costa; esta será vuestra frontera occidental.

`As to the west border, even the great sea hath been to you a border; this is to you the west border.

7 “ Y esta será vuestra frontera norte: trazaréis la línea fronteriza desde el mar Grande hasta el monte Hor.

`And this is to you the north border: from the great sea ye mark out for yourselves mount Hor;

8 “ Trazaréis una línea desde el monte Hor hasta Lebo-hamat, y el término de la frontera será Zedad;

from mount Hor ye mark out to go in to Hamath, and the outgoings of the border have been to Zedad;

9 y la frontera seguirá hacia Zifrón, y su término será Hazar-enán. Esta será vuestra frontera norte.

and the border hath gone out to Ziphron, and its outgoings have been at Hazar-Enan; this is to you the north border.

10 “ Para vuestra frontera oriental, trazaréis también una línea desde Hazar-enán hasta Sefam,

`And ye have marked out for yourselves for the border eastward, from Hazar-Enan to Shepham;

11 y la frontera descenderá de Sefam a Ribla, sobre el lado oriental de Aín; y la frontera descenderá y alcanzará la ribera sobre el lado oriental del mar de Cineret.

and the border hath gone down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east of Ain, and the border hath gone down, and hath smitten against the shoulder of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;

12 “ Y la frontera descenderá al Jordán, y su término será el mar Salado. Esta será vuestra tierra, según sus fronteras alrededor.”

and the border hath gone down to the Jordan, and its outgoings have been at the Salt Sea; this is for you the land by its borders round about.'

13 E ntonces Moisés dio órdenes a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Esta es la tierra que repartiréis por sorteo entre vosotros como posesión, la cual el Señor ha ordenado dar a las nueve tribus y a la media tribu.

And Moses commandeth the sons of Israel, saying, `This the land which ye inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give to the nine tribes and the half of the tribe;

14 P ues la tribu de los hijos de Rubén ha recibido lo suyo según sus casas paternas, y la tribu de los hijos de Gad según sus casas paternas y la media tribu de Manasés han recibido su posesión.

for the tribe of the sons of Reuben have received, by the house of their fathers; and the tribe of the children of Gad, by the house of their fathers; and the half of the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance;

15 L as dos tribus y la media tribu han recibido su posesión al otro lado del Jordán, frente a Jericó, al oriente, hacia la salida del sol.

the two tribes and the half of the tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan, Jericho, eastward, at the -rising.'

16 E ntonces habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

17 E stos son los nombres de los hombres que os repartirán la tierra por heredad: el sacerdote Eleazar y Josué, hijo de Nun.

`These the names of the men who give to you the inheritance of the land: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun,

18 D e cada tribu tomarás un jefe para repartir la tierra por heredad.

and one prince -- one prince -- for a tribe ye do take to give the land by inheritance.

19 Y estos son los nombres de los hombres: de la tribu de Judá, Caleb, hijo de Jefone.

`And these the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

20 D e la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Semuel, hijo de Amiud.

and of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Aminihud;

21 D e la tribu de Benjamín, Elidad, hijo de Quislón.

of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;

22 D e la tribu de los hijos de Dan, un jefe: Buqui, hijo de Jogli.

and of the tribe of the sons of Dan, the prince Bukki son of Jogli;

23 D e los hijos de José: de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, un jefe: Haniel, hijo de Efod.

of the sons of Joseph, of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel son of Ephod;

24 D e la tribu de los hijos de Efraín, un jefe: Kemuel, hijo de Siftán.

and of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel son of Shiphtan;

25 D e la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, un jefe: Elizafán, hijo de Parnac.

and of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan son of Parnach;

26 D e la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, un jefe: Paltiel, hijo de Azán.

and of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince Paltiel son of Azzan;

27 D e la tribu de los hijos de Aser, un jefe: Ahiud, hijo de Selomi.

and of the tribe of the sons of Asher, the prince Ahihud son of Shelomi;

28 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, un jefe: Pedael, hijo de Amiud.

and of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel son of Ammihud.'

29 E stos son los que el Señor mandó que repartieran la heredad a los hijos de Israel en la tierra de Canaán.

These those whom Jehovah hath commanded to give the sons of Israel inheritance in the land of Canaan.
