1 E ntonces Dios dijo a Moisés: Sube hacia el Señor, tú y Aarón, Nadab y Abiú, y setenta de los ancianos de Israel, y adoraréis desde lejos.

And unto Moses He said, `Come up unto Jehovah, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and ye have bowed yourselves afar off;'

2 S in embargo, Moisés se acercará solo al Señor, y ellos no se acercarán, ni el pueblo subirá con él.

and Moses hath drawn nigh by himself unto Jehovah; and they draw not nigh, and the people go not up with him.

3 Y Moisés vino y contó al pueblo todas las palabras del Señor y todas las ordenanzas; y todo el pueblo respondió a una voz, y dijo: Haremos todas las palabras que el Señor ha dicho.

And Moses cometh in, and recounteth to the people all the words of Jehovah, and all the judgments, and all the people answer -- one voice, and say, `All the words which Jehovah hath spoken we do.'

4 Y Moisés escribió todas las palabras del Señor. Levantándose muy de mañana, edificó un altar al pie del monte, con doce columnas por las doce tribus de Israel.

And Moses writeth all the words of Jehovah, and riseth early in the morning, and buildeth an altar under the hill, and twelve standing pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel;

5 Y envió jóvenes de los hijos de Israel, que ofrecieron holocaustos y sacrificaron novillos como ofrendas de paz al Señor.

and he sendeth the youths of the sons of Israel, and they cause burnt-offerings to ascend, and sacrifice sacrifices of peace-offerings to Jehovah -- calves.

6 M oisés tomó la mitad de la sangre y la puso en vasijas, y la otra mitad de la sangre la roció sobre el altar.

And Moses taketh half of the blood, and putteth in basins, and half of the blood hath he sprinkled on the altar;

7 L uego tomó el libro del pacto y lo leyó a oídos del pueblo, y ellos dijeron: Todo lo que el Señor ha dicho haremos y obedeceremos.

and he taketh the Book of the Covenant, and proclaimeth in the ears of the people, and they say, `All that which Jehovah hath spoken we do, and obey.'

8 E ntonces Moisés tomó la sangre y la roció sobre el pueblo, y dijo: He aquí la sangre del pacto que el Señor ha hecho con vosotros, según todas estas palabras.

And Moses taketh the blood, and sprinkleth on the people, and saith, `Lo, the blood of the covenant which Jehovah hath made with you, concerning all these things.'

9 Y subió Moisés con Aarón, Nadab y Abiú, y setenta de los ancianos de Israel;

And Moses goeth up, Aaron also, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,

10 y vieron al Dios de Israel, y debajo de sus pies había como un embaldosado de zafiro, tan claro como el mismo cielo.

and they see the God of Israel, and under His feet as the white work of the sapphire, and as the substance of the heavens for purity;

11 M as El no extendió su mano contra los príncipes de los hijos de Israel; y ellos vieron a Dios y comieron y bebieron.

and unto those of the sons of Israel who are near He hath not put forth His hand, and they see God, and eat and drink.

12 Y el Señor dijo a Moisés: Sube hasta mí, al monte, y espera allí, y te daré las tablas de piedra con la ley y los mandamientos que he escrito para instrucción de ellos.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Come up unto Me to the mount, and be there, and I give to thee the tables of stone, and the law, and the command, which I have written to direct them.'

13 Y se levantó Moisés con Josué su ayudante, y subió Moisés al monte de Dios,

And Moses riseth -- Joshua his minister also -- and Moses goeth up unto the mount of God;

14 y dijo a los ancianos: Esperadnos aquí hasta que volvamos a vosotros. Y he aquí, Aarón y Hur están con vosotros; el que tenga algún asunto legal, acuda a ellos.

and unto the elders he hath said, `Abide ye for us in this, until that we turn back unto you, and lo, Aaron and Hur with you -- he who hath matters doth come nigh unto them.'

15 E ntonces subió Moisés al monte, y la nube cubrió el monte.

And Moses goeth up unto the mount, and the cloud covereth the mount;

16 Y la gloria del Señor reposó sobre el monte Sinaí, y la nube lo cubrió por seis días; y al séptimo día, Dios llamó a Moisés de en medio de la nube.

and the honour of Jehovah doth tabernacle on mount Sinai, and the cloud covereth it six days, and He calleth unto Moses on the seventh day from the midst of the cloud.

17 A los ojos de los hijos de Israel la apariencia de la gloria del Señor era como un fuego consumidor sobre la cumbre del monte.

And the appearance of the honour of Jehovah as a consuming fire on the top of the mount, before the eyes of the sons of Israel;

18 Y entró Moisés en medio de la nube, y subió al monte; y estuvo Moisés en el monte cuarenta días y cuarenta noches.

and Moses goeth into the midst of the cloud, and goeth up unto the mount, and Moses is on the mount forty days and forty nights.
