1 A quel día habrá una fuente abierta para la casa de David y para los habitantes de Jerusalén, para lavar el pecado y la impureza.

In that day there is a fountain opened To the house of David And to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, For sin and for impurity.

2 Y sucederá aquel día —declara el Señor de los ejércitos— que eliminaré de la tierra los nombres de los ídolos, y nunca más serán recordados; también yo quitaré de la tierra a los profetas y al espíritu inmundo.

And it hath come to pass, in that day, An affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts, I cut off the names of the idols from the land, And they are not remembered any more, And also the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness I cause to pass away from the land.

3 Y sucederá que si alguno profetiza todavía, su padre y su madre que lo engendraron le dirán: “No vivirás porque has hablado falsamente en el nombre del Señor ”; y su padre y su madre que lo engendraron lo traspasarán mientras profetiza.

And it hath been, when one prophesieth again, That said unto him have his father and his mother, his parents, `Thou dost not live, For falsehood thou hast spoken in the name of Jehovah,' And pierced him through have his father and his mother, his parents, in his prophesying.

4 T ambién sucederá aquel día que los profetas se avergonzarán cada uno de su visión cuando profetice, y no se vestirán el manto de pelo para engañar,

And it hath come to pass, in that day, Ashamed are the prophets, each of his vision, in his prophesying, And they put not on a hairy robe to deceive.

5 s ino que cada uno dirá: “No soy profeta, soy labrador de la tierra, porque un hombre me vendió como esclavo en mi juventud.”

And hath said, `I am not a prophet, A man, a tiller of ground I am, For ground my possession from my youth.'

6 Y alguien le dirá: “¿Qué son esas heridas en tu cuerpo ?” Y él responderá: “ Son aquéllas con que fui herido en casa de mis amigos.”

And hath said unto him, `What these wounds in thy hands?' And he hath said, `Because I was smitten home by my lovers.'

7 D espierta, espada, contra mi pastor, y contra el hombre compañero mío —declara el Señor de los ejércitos. Hiere al pastor y se dispersarán las ovejas, y volveré mi mano contra los pequeños.

Sword, awake against My shepherd, And against a hero -- My fellow, An affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts. Smite the shepherd, and scattered is the flock, And I have put back My hand on the little ones.

8 Y sucederá en toda la tierra —declara el Señor — que dos partes serán cortadas en ella, y perecerán; pero la tercera quedará en ella.

And it hath come to pass, In all the land, an affirmation of Jehovah, Two parts in it are cut off -- they expire, And the third is left in it.

9 Y meteré la tercera parte en el fuego, los refinaré como se refina la plata, y los probaré como se prueba el oro. Invocará él mi nombre, y yo le responderé; diré: “El es mi pueblo ”, y él dirá: “El Señor es mi Dios.”

And I have brought the third into fire, And refined them like a refining of silver, And have tried them like a trying of gold, It doth call in My name, and I answer it, I have said, `My people it,' And it saith, `Jehovah my God!'
