1 E stas son las generaciones de Sem, Cam y Jafet, hijos de Noé, a quienes les nacieron hijos después del diluvio:

And these births of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and born to them are sons after the deluge.

2 L os hijos de Jafet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javán, Tubal, Mesec y Tiras.

`Sons of Japheth Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

3 L os hijos de Gomer: Askenaz, Rifat y Togarmá.

And sons of Gomer Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

4 L os hijos de Javán: Elisa, Tarsis, Quitim y Dodanim.

And sons of Javan Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

5 D e éstos, las costas de las naciones se dividieron en sus tierras, cada uno conforme a su lengua, según sus familias, en sus naciones.

By these have the isles of the nations been parted in their lands, each by his tongue, by their families, in their nations.

6 L os hijos de Cam: Cus, Mizrayim, Fut y Canaán.

And sons of Ham Cush, and Mitzraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

7 L os hijos de Cus: Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raama y Sabteca, y los hijos de Raama: Seba y Dedán.

And sons of Cush Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah; and sons of Raamah Sheba and Dedan.

8 Y Cus engendró a Nimrod, que llegó a ser poderoso en la tierra.

And Cush hath begotten Nimrod;

9 E l fue un poderoso cazador delante del Señor; por tanto se dice: Como Nimrod, poderoso cazador delante del Señor.

he hath begun to be a hero in the land; he hath been a hero in hunting before Jehovah; therefore it is said, `As Nimrod the hero hunting before Jehovah.'

10 Y el comienzo de su reino fue Babel, Erec, Acab y Calne, en la tierra de Sinar.

And the first part of his kingdom is Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar;

11 D e aquella tierra salió hacia Asiria y edificó Nínive, Rehobot Ir, Cala,

from that land he hath gone out to Asshur, and buildeth Nineveh, even the broad places of the city, and Calah,

12 y Resén, entre Nínive y Cala; aquella es la gran ciudad.

and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah; it the great city.

13 Y Mizrayim engendró a Ludim, a Anamim, a Lehabim, a Naftuhim,

And Mitzraim hath begotten the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,

14 a Patrusim, a Casluhim (de donde salieron los filisteos) y a Caftorim.

and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim, (whence have come out Philistim,) and the Caphtorim.

15 C anaán engendró a Sidón su primogénito, y a Het,

And Canaan hath begotten Sidon his first-born, and Heth,

16 y al jebuseo, al amorreo, al gergeseo,

and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

17 a l heveo, al araceo, al sineo,

and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

18 a l arvadeo, al zemareo y al hamateo. Y después las familias de los cananeos fueron esparcidas.

and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterwards have the families of the Canaanite been scattered.

19 E l territorio de los cananeos se extendía desde Sidón, rumbo a Gerar, hasta Gaza; y rumbo a Sodoma, Gomorra, Adma y Zeboim, hasta Lasa.

And the border of the Canaanite is from Sidon, thy coming towards Gerar, unto Gaza; thy coming towards Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, unto Lasha.

20 E stos son los hijos de Cam, según sus familias, según sus lenguas, por sus tierras, por sus naciones.

These sons of Ham, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.

21 T ambién le nacieron hijos a Sem, padre de todos los hijos de Heber, y hermano mayor de Jafet.

As to Shem, father of all sons of Eber, brother of Japheth the elder, he hath also begotten:

22 L os hijos de Sem: Elam, Asur, Arfaxad, Lud y Aram.

Sons of Shem Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

23 L os hijos de Aram: Uz, Hul, Geter y Mas.

And sons of Aram Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

24 A rfaxad engendró a Sala, y Sala engendró a Heber.

And Arphaxad hath begotten Salah, and Salah hath begotten Eber.

25 Y a Heber le nacieron dos hijos: el nombre de uno fue Peleg, porque en sus días fue repartida la tierra, y el nombre de su hermano, Joctán.

And to Eber have two sons been born; the name of the one Peleg (for in his days hath the earth been divided,) and his brother's name Joktan.

26 J octán engendró a Almodad, a Selef, a Hazar-mavet, a Jera,

And Joktan hath begotten Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

27 a Adoram, a Uzal, a Dicla,

and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

28 a Obal, a Abimael, a Seba,

and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

29 a Ofir, a Havila y a Jobab; todos estos fueron hijos de Joctán.

and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these sons of Joktan;

30 Y su territorio se extendía desde Mesa rumbo a Sefar, la región montañosa del oriente.

and their dwelling is from Mesha, thy coming towards Sephar, a mount of the east.

31 E stos son los hijos de Sem, según sus familias, según sus lenguas, por sus tierras, conforme a sus naciones.

These sons of Shem, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, by their nations.

32 E stas son las familias de los hijos de Noé según sus genealogías, por sus naciones; y de ellos se propagaron las naciones sobre la tierra después del diluvio.

These families of the sons of Noah, by their births, in their nations, and by these have the nations been parted in the earth after the deluge.
