1 L os jefes del pueblo habitaron en Jerusalén, pero el resto del pueblo echó suertes a fin de traer uno de cada diez para que habitara en Jerusalén, la ciudad santa, mientras los otros nueve se quedarían en las otras ciudades.

And the heads of the people dwell in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people have caused to fall lots to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the cities,

2 Y bendijo el pueblo a todos los hombres que se ofrecieron para habitar en Jerusalén.

and the people give a blessing to all the men who are offering themselves willingly to dwell in Jerusalem.

3 E stos son los jefes de la provincia que habitaron en Jerusalén (en las ciudades de Judá cada cual habitó en su propiedad, en sus ciudades; los israelitas, los sacerdotes, los levitas, los sirvientes del templo, los descendientes de los siervos de Salomón,

And these heads of the province who have dwelt in Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, they have dwelt each in his possession in their cities; Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.

6 T odos los hijos de Fares que habitaron en Jerusalén fueron cuatrocientos sesenta y ocho hombres fuertes.

all the sons of Perez who are dwelling in Jerusalem four hundred sixty and eight, men of valour.

7 Y estos son los hijos de Benjamín: Salú, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Joed, hijo de Pedaías, hijo de Colaías, hijo de Maasías, hijo de Itiel, hijo de Jesaías;

And these sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jesaiah;

8 y después de él, Gabai y Salai, novecientos veintiocho.

and after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.

And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni,

16 y Sabetai y Jozabad, de los jefes de los levitas, encargados de la obra fuera de la casa de Dios;

and Shabbethai, and Jozabad, over the outward work of the house of God, of the heads of the Levites,

17 y Matanías, hijo de Micaía, hijo de Zabdi, hijo de Asaf, que era jefe para comenzar la acción de gracias en la oración, y Bacbuquías, el segundo entre sus hermanos; y Abda, hijo de Samúa, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún.

All the Levites, in the holy city, two hundred eighty and four.

19 Y los porteros, Acub, Talmón y sus parientes, que guardaban las puertas, eran ciento setenta y dos.

And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren, those watching at the gates, a hundred seventy and two.

20 E l resto de Israel, de los sacerdotes y de los levitas estaban en todas las ciudades de Judá, cada uno en su heredad.

And the rest of Israel, of the priests, of the Levites, in all cities of Judah, each in his inheritance;

21 P ero los sirvientes del templo habitaban en Ofel; y Ziha y Gispa estaban encargados de los sirvientes del templo.

and the Nethinim are dwelling in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa over the Nethinim.

22 E l superintendente de los levitas en Jerusalén era Uzi, hijo de Bani, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Matanías, hijo de Micaía, de los hijos de Asaf, cantores para el servicio de la casa de Dios;

And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micha: of the sons of Asaph, the singers over-against the work of the house of God,

for the command of the king upon them, and support for the singers, a matter of a day in its day.

And at the villages with their fields, of the sons of Judah there have dwelt, in Kirjath-Arba and its small towns, and in Dibon and its small towns, and in Jekabzeel and its villages,

and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-Phelet,

27 e n Hazar-sual, en Beerseba y sus ciudades,

and in Hazar-Shaul, and in Beer-Sheba and its small towns,

and in Ziklag, and in Mekonah and in its small towns,

29 e n En-rimón, en Zora, en Jarmut,

and En-Rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Jarmuth,

And sons of Benjamin at Geba, Michmash, and Aija, and Beth-El, and its small towns,

32 e n Anatot, Nob, Ananías,

Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

33 H azor, Ramá, Gitaim,

Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

34 H adid, Seboim, Nebalat,

Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

35 L od y Ono, el valle de los artífices.

Lod, and Ono, the valley of the artificers.

36 Y de los levitas, algunos grupos de Judá habitaban en Benjamín.

And of the Levites, the courses of Judah for Benjamin.
