1 E ntonces el Señor habló a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 H abla a Aarón y dile: “Cuando pongas las lámparas, las siete lámparas alumbrarán al frente del candelabro.”

`Speak unto Aaron, and thou hast said unto him, In thy causing the lights to go up, over-against the face of the candlestick do the seven lights give light.'

3 Y así lo hizo Aarón; puso las lámparas al frente del candelabro, como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés.

And Aaron doth so; over-against the face of the candlestick he hath caused its lights to go up, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

4 Y esta era la hechura del candelabro: de oro labrado a martillo; desde su base hasta sus flores fue obra labrada a martillo; según el modelo que el Señor le mostró a Moisés, así hizo el candelabro. La purificación de los levitas

And this the work of the candlestick: beaten work of gold; unto its thigh, unto its flower it beaten work; as the appearance which Jehovah shewed Moses, so he hath made the candlestick.

5 D e nuevo el Señor habló a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

6 T oma de entre los hijos de Israel a los levitas y purifícalos.

`Take the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and thou hast cleansed them.

7 A sí harás con ellos para su purificación: rociarás sobre ellos agua purificadora, y que ellos hagan pasar una navaja sobre todo su cuerpo, laven sus ropas y quedarán purificados.

`And thus thou dost to them to cleanse them: sprinkle upon them waters of atonement, and they have caused a razor to pass over all their flesh, and have washed their garments, and cleansed themselves,

8 T omarán entonces un novillo con su ofrenda de cereal, flor de harina mezclada con aceite; y tú tomarás otro novillo como ofrenda por el pecado.

and have taken a bullock, a son of the herd, and its present, flour mixed with oil, -- and a second bullock a son of the herd thou dost take for a sin-offering,

9 Y harás que se acerquen los levitas delante de la tienda de reunión. Reunirás también a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel,

and thou hast brought near the Levites before the tent of meeting, and thou hast assembled the whole company of the sons of Israel,

10 y presentarás a los levitas delante del Señor; y los hijos de Israel pondrán sus manos sobre los levitas.

and thou hast brought near the Levites before Jehovah, and the sons of Israel have laid their hands on the Levites,

11 E ntonces Aarón presentará a los levitas delante del Señor, como ofrenda mecida de los hijos de Israel, para que ellos puedan cumplir el ministerio del Señor.

and Aaron hath waved the Levites -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, from the sons of Israel, and they have been -- for doing the service of Jehovah.

12 L os levitas pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza de los novillos, y entonces ofrecerán uno como ofrenda por el pecado y el otro como holocausto al Señor, para hacer expiación por los levitas.

`And the Levites lay their hands on the head of the bullocks, and make thou the one a sin-offering, and the one a burnt-offering to Jehovah, to atone for the Levites,

13 H arás que los levitas estén de pie delante de Aarón y delante de sus hijos, para presentarlos como ofrenda mecida al Señor.

and thou hast caused the Levites to stand before Aaron, and before his sons, and hast waved them -- a wave-offering to Jehovah;

14 A sí separarás a los levitas de entre los hijos de Israel, y los levitas serán míos.

and thou hast separated the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have become Mine;

15 Y después de eso, los levitas podrán entrar para ministrar en la tienda de reunión, tú los purificarás y los presentarás como ofrenda mecida;

and afterwards do the Levites come in to serve the tent of meeting, and thou hast cleansed them, and hast waved them -- a wave-offering.

16 p orque son enteramente dedicados para mí de entre los hijos de Israel. Los he tomado para mí en lugar de todo primer fruto de la matriz, los primogénitos de todos los hijos de Israel.

`For they are certainly given to Me out of the midst of the sons of Israel, instead of him who openeth any womb -- the first-born of all -- from the sons of Israel I have taken them to Myself;

17 P orque míos son todos los primogénitos de entre los hijos de Israel, tanto de hombres como de animales; el día en que herí a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, los santifiqué para mí.

for Mine every first-born among the sons of Israel, among man and among beast; in the day of my smiting every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for Myself;

18 P ero he tomado a los levitas en lugar de los primogénitos de entre los hijos de Israel.

and I take the Levites instead of every first-born among the sons of Israel:

19 Y he dado a los levitas como un don a Aarón y a sus hijos de entre los hijos de Israel, para cumplir el ministerio de los hijos de Israel en la tienda de reunión y para hacer expiación en favor de los hijos de Israel, para que no haya plaga entre los hijos de Israel al acercarse al santuario.

`And I give the Levites gifts to Aaron and to his sons, from the midst of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, and there is no plague among the sons of Israel in the sons of Israel's drawing nigh unto the sanctuary.'

20 A sí hicieron a los levitas Moisés, Aarón y toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel; conforme a todo lo que el Señor había mandado a Moisés acerca de los levitas, así hicieron con ellos los hijos de Israel.

And Moses doth -- Aaron also, and all the company of the sons of Israel -- to the Levites according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so have the sons of Israel done to them.

21 L os levitas se purificaron a sí mismos de pecados, y lavaron sus ropas; y Aarón los presentó como ofrenda mecida delante del Señor. También Aarón hizo expiación por ellos para purificarlos.

And the Levites cleanse themselves, and wash their garments, and Aaron waveth them a wave-offering before Jehovah, and Aaron maketh atonement for them to cleanse them,

22 E ntonces, después de eso, los levitas entraron para cumplir su ministerio en la tienda de reunión delante de Aarón y delante de sus hijos; como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés acerca de los levitas, así hicieron con ellos. La jubilación de los levitas

and afterwards have the Levites gone in to do their service in the tent of meeting, before Aaron and before his sons; as Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they have done to them.

23 Y habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

24 E sto es lo que se refiere a los levitas: desde los veinticinco años en adelante entrarán a cumplir el servicio en el ministerio de la tienda de reunión.

`This that which the Levites': from a son of five and twenty years and upward he doth go in to serve the host in the service of the tent of meeting,

25 P ero a los cincuenta años se jubilarán de ejercer el ministerio, y no trabajarán más.

and from a son of fifty years he doth return from the host of the service, and doth not serve any more,

26 S in embargo, pueden ayudar a sus hermanos en la tienda de reunión a cumplir sus obligaciones, pero no a ejercer el ministerio. Así harás con los levitas en cuanto a sus obligaciones.

and he hath ministered with his brethren in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge, and doth not do service; thus thou dost to the Levites concerning their charge.'
