1 Y habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 M anda a los hijos de Israel que echen del campamento a todo leproso, a todo el que padece de flujo y a todo el que es inmundo por causa de un muerto.

`Command the sons of Israel, and they send out of the camp every leper, and every one with an issue, and every one defiled by a body;

3 E charéis tanto a hombres como a mujeres; los echaréis fuera del campamento para que no contaminen su campamento, donde yo habito en medio de ellos.

from male unto female ye do send out; unto the outside of the camp ye do send them; and they defile not their camps in the midst of which I do tabernacle.'

4 Y así lo hicieron los hijos de Israel, y los echaron fuera del campamento; tal como el Señor había dicho a Moisés, así lo hicieron los hijos de Israel. Ley sobre la restitución

And the sons of Israel do so, and they send them out unto the outside of the camp; as Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses so have the sons of Israel done.

5 E ntonces el Señor habló a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

6 H abla a los hijos de Israel: “El hombre o la mujer que cometa cualquiera de los pecados de la humanidad, actuando pérfidamente contra el Señor, esa persona es culpable;

`Speak unto the sons of Israel, Man or woman, when they do any of the sins of man, by committing a trespass against Jehovah, and that person guilty,

7 e ntonces confesará los pecados que ha cometido, y hará completa restitución por el daño causado, añadirá un quinto y lo dará al que él perjudicó.

and they have confessed their sin which they have done, then he hath restored his guilt in its principal, and its fifth is adding to it, and hath given to him in reference to whom he hath been guilty.

8 “ Pero si la persona no tiene pariente a quien se le haga la restitución por el daño, la restitución hecha por el daño debe ir al Señor, para el sacerdote, además del carnero de expiación, con el cual se hace expiación por él.

`And if the man have no redeemer to restore the guilt to, the guilt which is restored Jehovah's, the priest's, apart from the ram of the atonements, whereby he maketh atonement for him.

9 “ También toda ofrenda correspondiente a todas las cosas consagradas de los hijos de Israel que ofrecen al sacerdote, serán suyas.

`And every heave-offering of all the holy things of the sons of Israel, which they bring near to the priest, becometh his;

10 “ Las cosas consagradas de toda persona serán del sacerdote; lo que una persona dé al sacerdote será de él.” La ley sobre los celos

and any man's hallowed things become his; that which any man giveth to the priest becometh his.'

11 E l Señor habló además a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

12 H abla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: “Si la mujer de alguno se desvía y le es infiel,

`Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When any man's wife turneth aside, and hath committed against him a trespass,

13 t eniendo alguno relaciones carnales con ella sin que su marido se dé cuenta, ni sea descubierta (aunque ella se haya contaminado y no haya testigo contra ella, ni haya sido sorprendida en el acto mismo ),

and a man hath lain with her the seed of copulation, and it hath been hid from the eyes of her husband, and concealed, and she hath been defiled, and there is no witness against her, and she hath not been caught,

14 y un espíritu de celo viene sobre él y tiene celos de su mujer, habiéndose ella contaminado, o si viene un espíritu de celos sobre él y tiene celos de su mujer, no habiéndose ella contaminado,

and a spirit of jealousy hath passed over him, and he hath been jealous of his wife, and she hath been defiled; -- or, a spirit of jealousy hath passed over him, and he hath been jealous of his wife, and she hath not been defiled --

15 e l hombre llevará su mujer al sacerdote y llevará como ofrenda por ella un décimo de un efa de harina de cebada; no derramará aceite sobre la ofrenda, ni pondrá sobre ella incienso, porque es una ofrenda de cereal, de celos, una ofrenda memorial de cereal, un recordatorio de iniquidad.

`Then hath the man brought in his wife unto the priest, and he hath brought in her offering for her, a tenth of the ephah of barley meal, he doth not pour on it oil, nor doth he put on it frankincense, for it a present of jealousy, a present of memorial, causing remembrance of iniquity.

16 “ Entonces el sacerdote hará que ella se acerque y la pondrá delante del Señor,

`And the priest hath brought her near, and hath caused her to stand before Jehovah,

17 y el sacerdote tomará agua santa en una vasija de barro; y tomará del polvo que está sobre el piso del tabernáculo, y lo pondrá en el agua.

and the priest hath taken holy water in an earthen vessel, and of the dust which is on the floor of the tabernacle doth the priest take, and hath put into the water,

18 “ Luego el sacerdote hará que la mujer esté delante del Señor y descubrirá la cabeza de la mujer, y pondrá en sus manos la ofrenda memorial de cereal, que es la ofrenda de celos, y en la mano del sacerdote estará el agua de amargura que trae maldición.

and the priest hath caused the woman to stand before Jehovah, and hath uncovered the woman's head, and hath given into her hands the present of the memorial, it a present of jealousy, and in the hand of the priest are the bitter waters which cause the curse.

19 “ Y el sacerdote hará que ella pronuncie juramento, y dirá a la mujer: ‘Si ningún hombre se ha acostado contigo, y si no te has desviado a la inmundicia, estando sujeta a tu marido, sé inmune a esta agua de amargura que trae maldición;

`And the priest hath caused her to swear, and hath said unto the woman, If no man hath lain with thee, and if thou hast not turned aside uncleanness under thy husband, be free from these bitter waters which cause the curse;

20 p ero si te has desviado, estando sujeta a tu marido, y te has corrompido, y otro hombre que no es tu marido se ha llegado a ti’,

and thou, if thou hast turned aside under thy husband, and if thou hast been defiled, and any man doth give his copulation to thee besides thy husband --

21 ( entonces el sacerdote hará que la mujer jure con el juramento de maldición, y el sacerdote dirá a la mujer): ‘El Señor te haga maldición y juramento entre tu pueblo, haciendo el Señor que tu muslo se enjute y tu vientre se hinche;

(then the priest hath caused the woman to swear with an oath of execration, and the priest hath said to the woman) -- Jehovah doth give thee for an execration, and for a curse, in the midst of thy people, in Jehovah's giving thy thigh to fall, and thy belly to swell,

22 y esta agua que trae maldición entrará en tus entrañas, y hará que tu vientre se hinche y tu muslo se enjute.’ Y la mujer dirá: ‘Amén, amén.’

and these waters which cause the curse have gone into thy bowels, to cause the belly to swell, and the thigh to fall; and the woman hath said, Amen, Amen.

23 “ Entonces el sacerdote escribirá estas maldiciones en un rollo, y las lavará en el agua de amargura.

`And the priest hath written these execrations in a book, and hath blotted out with the bitter waters,

24 “ Después hará que la mujer beba el agua de amargura que trae maldición, para que el agua que trae maldición entre a ella para causar amargura.

and hath caused the woman to drink the bitter waters which cause the curse, and the waters which cause the curse have entered into her for bitter things.

25 “ Y el sacerdote tomará la ofrenda de cereal de los celos de la mano de la mujer, y mecerá la ofrenda de cereal delante del Señor y la llevará al altar;

`And the priest hath taken out of the hand of the woman the present of jealousy, and hath waved the present before Jehovah, and hath brought it near unto the altar;

26 t omará el sacerdote un puñado de la ofrenda de cereal como su ofrenda memorial y la quemará en el altar, y después hará que la mujer beba el agua.

and the priest hath taken a handful of the present, its memorial, and hath made perfume on the altar, and afterwards doth cause the woman to drink the water:

27 “ Cuando le haya hecho beber el agua, sucederá que si ella se ha contaminado y ha sido infiel a su marido, el agua que trae maldición entrará en ella para producir amargura, y su vientre se hinchará, su muslo se enjutará y la mujer vendrá a ser una maldición en medio de su pueblo.

yea, he hath caused her to drink the water, and it hath come to pass, if she hath been defiled, and doth commit a trespass against her husband, that the waters which cause the curse have gone into her for bitter things, and her belly hath swelled, and her thigh hath fallen, and the woman hath become an execration in the midst of her people.

28 “ Mas si la mujer no se ha contaminado y es limpia, quedará libre y concebirá hijos.

`And if the woman hath not been defiled, and is clean, then she hath been acquitted, and hath been sown seed.

29 “ Esta es la ley de los celos: cuando una mujer que esté sujeta a su marido, se desvíe y se contamine,

`This the law of jealousies, when a wife turneth aside under her husband, and hath been defiled,

30 o cuando un espíritu de celos venga sobre alguno y esté celoso de su mujer, entonces hará que la mujer se presente delante del Señor, y el sacerdote le aplicará a ella toda esta ley.

or when a spirit of jealousy passeth over a man, and he hath been jealous of his wife, then he hath caused the woman to stand before Jehovah, and the priest hath done to her all this law,

31 “ Además, el marido quedará libre de culpa, pero la mujer llevará su culpa.”

and the man hath been acquitted from iniquity, and that woman doth bear her iniquity.'
