1 A los hijos de José les tocó en suerte recibir desde el Jordán de Jericó hasta los manantiales al oriente de Jericó, en dirección al desierto que va de Jericó a las montañas de Betel.

And the lot for the sons of Joseph goeth out from Jordan Jericho, to the waters of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness going up from Jericho in the hill-country of Beth-El,

2 D e Betel, que es Luz, sigue a lo largo del territorio de los arquitas, hasta Atarot;

and hath gone out from Beth-El to Luz, and passed over unto the border of Archi Ataroth,

3 b aja luego hacia el occidente al territorio de los jafletitas, en los límites de Bet Jorón la de abajo, hasta Guézer, y sale al mar.

and gone down westward unto the border of Japhleti, unto the border of Beth-Horon the lower, and unto Gezer, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

4 M anasés y Efraín, los hijos de José, también recibieron su parte.

And the sons of Joseph -- Manasseh and Ephraim -- inherit.

5 P or el oriente, el territorio que recibieron los hijos de Efraín, conforme al número de sus familias, partía de Atarot Adar hasta Bet Jorón la de arriba.

And the border of the sons of Ephraim is by their families; and the border of their inheritance is on the east, Atroth-Addar unto Beth-Horon the upper;

6 L a frontera sigue hasta el mar, y llega a Micmetat, al norte; da vuelta hacia el oriente hasta Tanat Siló, y pasa a Yanoja.

and the border hath gone out at the sea, to Michmethah on the north, and the border hath gone round eastward Taanath-Shiloh, and passed over it eastward to Janohah,

7 D e Yanoja desciende a Atarot y Narat, toca Jericó y sale al Jordán.

and gone down from Janohah Ataroth, and to Naarath, and touched against Jericho, and gone out at the Jordan.

8 D e Tapuaj se vuelve hacia el mar, al arroyo de Caná, y sale al mar. Éste es el territorio que le tocó a la tribu de los hijos de Efraín, conforme al número de sus familias.

From Tappuah the border goeth westward unto the brook of Kanah, and its outgoings have been at the sea: this the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, for their families.

9 E ntre la heredad de los hijos de Manasés también se apartaron ciudades con sus aldeas para los hijos de Efraín.

And the separate cities of the sons of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities and their villages;

10 S in embargo, no pudieron arrojaron a los cananeos que habitaban en Guézer, así que se quedaron a vivir entre la tribu de Efraín, y hasta el día de hoy son sus tributarios.

and they have not dispossessed the Canaanite who is dwelling in Gezer, and the Canaanite dwelleth in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and is to tribute -- a servant.
