1 P jesa që iu dha me short bijve të Jozefit shtrihej nga Jordani pranë Jerikos, në drejtim të ujërave të Jerikos në lindje, deri në shkretëtirën që ngjitet nga Jeriko në Bethel nëpër krahinën malore.

And the lot for the sons of Joseph goeth out from Jordan Jericho, to the waters of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness going up from Jericho in the hill-country of Beth-El,

2 K ufiri vijonte pastaj nga Betheli në Luc dhe kalonte në Ataroth nëpër kufirin e Arkejve,

and hath gone out from Beth-El to Luz, and passed over unto the border of Archi Ataroth,

3 d he zbriste në perëndim në drejtim të kufirit të Jafletejve deri në kufirin e Beth-Horonit të poshtëm dhe deri në Gezer, duke mbaruar në det.

and gone down westward unto the border of Japhleti, unto the border of Beth-Horon the lower, and unto Gezer, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

4 K ështu bijtë e Jozefit, Manasi dhe Efraimi, patën secili trashëgiminë e vet.

And the sons of Joseph -- Manasseh and Ephraim -- inherit.

5 K ëto qenë kufijtë e bijve të Efraimit, simbas familjeve të tyre. Kufiri i trashëgimisë së tyre, në lindje, ishte Atrothi deri në Beth-Horonin e sipërm;

And the border of the sons of Ephraim is by their families; and the border of their inheritance is on the east, Atroth-Addar unto Beth-Horon the upper;

6 k ufiri shtrihej deri në det në veri të Mikmethathit, pastaj kthente nga lndja deri në Tanaath-Shiloh dhe i kalonte përpara në lindje të Janoahut.

and the border hath gone out at the sea, to Michmethah on the north, and the border hath gone round eastward Taanath-Shiloh, and passed over it eastward to Janohah,

7 N ga Janoahu zbriste pastaj në Ataroth dhe Naarah dhe zgjatej deri në Jeriko, për të mbaruar në Jordan.

and gone down from Janohah Ataroth, and to Naarath, and touched against Jericho, and gone out at the Jordan.

8 N ga Tapuah kufiri shtrihej në perëndim deri në përruan Kanah dhe mbaronte në det. Kjo qe trashëgimia e fisit të Efraimit, simbas familjeve të tyre,

From Tappuah the border goeth westward unto the brook of Kanah, and its outgoings have been at the sea: this the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, for their families.

9 b ashkë me qytetet e rezervuara për bijtë e Efraimit në mes të trashëgimisë së bijve të Manasit, të gjitha qytetet bashkë me fshatrat e tyre.

And the separate cities of the sons of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities and their villages;

10 P or ata nuk i dëbuan Kananejtë që banonin në Gezer; kështu Kananejtë kanë banuar në mes të Efraimit deri ditën e sotme, por u bënë skllevër.

and they have not dispossessed the Canaanite who is dwelling in Gezer, and the Canaanite dwelleth in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and is to tribute -- a servant.
