1 L o que tocó en suerte a los hijos de José iba desde el Jordán de Jericó hasta las aguas de Jericó, hacia el oriente, hacia el desierto que sube de Jericó por las montañas de Bet-el.

And the lot for the sons of Joseph goeth out from Jordan Jericho, to the waters of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness going up from Jericho in the hill-country of Beth-El,

2 S ale de Bet-el a Luz y pasa a lo largo del territorio de los arquitas hasta Atarot;

and hath gone out from Beth-El to Luz, and passed over unto the border of Archi Ataroth,

3 b aja hacia el occidente al territorio de los jafletitas, hasta el límite de Bet-horón la de abajo, y hasta Gezer, y sale al mar.

and gone down westward unto the border of Japhleti, unto the border of Beth-Horon the lower, and unto Gezer, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

4 R ecibieron, pues, su heredad los hijos de José, Manasés y Efraín.

And the sons of Joseph -- Manasseh and Ephraim -- inherit.

5 E l territorio de los hijos de Efraín por sus familias: El límite de su heredad era por el lado del oriente Atarot-adar hasta Bet-horón la de arriba.

And the border of the sons of Ephraim is by their families; and the border of their inheritance is on the east, Atroth-Addar unto Beth-Horon the upper;

6 C ontinúa el límite hasta el mar y hasta Micmetat al norte, y da vuelta hacia el oriente hasta Taanat-silo, y de aquí pasa a Janoa.

and the border hath gone out at the sea, to Michmethah on the north, and the border hath gone round eastward Taanath-Shiloh, and passed over it eastward to Janohah,

7 D e Janoa desciende a Atarot y a Naarat, toca Jericó y sale al Jordán.

and gone down from Janohah Ataroth, and to Naarath, and touched against Jericho, and gone out at the Jordan.

8 D e Tapúa se vuelve hacia el oeste por el arroyo Caná, y sale al mar. Ésta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Efraín por sus familias,

From Tappuah the border goeth westward unto the brook of Kanah, and its outgoings have been at the sea: this the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, for their families.

9 a demás de las ciudades que se apartaron para los hijos de Efraín en medio de la heredad de los hijos de Manasés; todas las ciudades con sus aldeas.

And the separate cities of the sons of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities and their villages;

10 P ero no expulsaron al cananeo que habitaba en Gezer, y por eso quedó el cananeo en medio de Efraín, hasta hoy, aunque sometido a tributo.

and they have not dispossessed the Canaanite who is dwelling in Gezer, and the Canaanite dwelleth in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and is to tribute -- a servant.
