1 J ehová dijo a Moisés: —Una plaga más traeré sobre el faraón y sobre Egipto, después de la cual él os dejará ir de aquí. De seguro que os echará de aquí definitivamente.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `One plague more I do bring in on Pharaoh, and on Egypt, afterwards he doth send you away from this; when he is sending you away, he surely casteth you out altogether from this;

2 H abla ahora al pueblo, que cada uno pida a su vecino y cada una a su vecina, alhajas de plata y de oro.

speak, I pray thee, in the ears of the people, and they ask -- each man from his neighbour, and each woman from her neighbour, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold.'

3 J ehová hizo que el pueblo se ganara el favor de los egipcios. También Moisés era considerado un gran hombre en la tierra de Egipto, a los ojos de los siervos del faraón y a los ojos del pueblo.

And Jehovah giveth the grace of the people in the eyes of the Egyptians; also the man Moses very great in the land of Egypt, in the eyes of the servants of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of the people.

4 D ijo, pues, Moisés: —Jehová ha dicho así: “Hacia la medianoche yo atravesaré el país de Egipto,

And Moses saith, `Thus said Jehovah, About midnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt,

5 y morirá todo primogénito en tierra de Egipto, desde el primogénito del faraón que se sienta en su trono, hasta el primogénito de la sierva que está tras el molino, y todo primogénito de las bestias.

and every first-born in the land of Egypt hath died, from the first-born of Pharaoh who is sitting on his throne, unto the first-born of the maid-servant who behind the millstones, and all the first-born of beasts;

6 Y habrá gran clamor por toda la tierra de Egipto, cual nunca hubo ni jamás habrá.

and there hath been a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as there hath not been, and such as there is not again.

7 P ero contra todos los hijos de Israel, desde el hombre hasta la bestia, ni un perro moverá su lengua, para que sepáis que Jehová hace diferencia entre los egipcios y los israelitas.”

`And against all the sons of Israel a dog sharpeneth not its tongue, from man even unto beast, so that ye know that Jehovah doth make a separation between the Egyptians and Israel;

8 E ntonces vendrán a mí todos estos tus siervos, e inclinados delante de mí dirán: “Vete, tú y todo el pueblo que está bajo tus órdenes.” Y después de esto yo saldré. Y salió muy enojado de la presencia del faraón.

and all these thy servants have come down unto me, and bowed themselves to me, saying, Go out, thou and all the people who at thy feet; and afterwards I do go out;' -- and he goeth out from Pharaoh in the heat of anger.

9 L uego Jehová dijo a Moisés: —El faraón no os oirá, para que mis maravillas se multipliquen en la tierra de Egipto.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Pharaoh doth not hearken unto you, so as to multiply My wonders in the land of Egypt;'

10 M oisés y Aarón hicieron todos estos prodigios delante del faraón, pues Jehová había endurecido el corazón del faraón, y éste no dejó salir a los hijos de Israel fuera de su país.

and Moses and Aaron have done all these wonders before Pharaoh, and Jehovah strengtheneth Pharaoh's heart, and he hath not sent the sons of Israel out of his land.
