1 J ehová respondió a Moisés: —Ahora verás lo que yo haré al faraón, porque con mano fuerte los dejará ir, y con mano fuerte los echará de su tierra.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Now dost thou see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he doth send them away, yea, with a strong hand he doth cast them out of his land.'

2 H abló Dios a Moisés y le dijo: —Yo soy Jehová.

And God speaketh unto Moses, and saith unto him, `I Jehovah,

3 Y o me aparecí a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob como Dios Omnipotente, pero con mi nombre Jehová no me di a conocer a ellos.

and I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; as to My name Jehovah, I have not been known to them;

4 T ambién establecí mi pacto con ellos, para darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra en que fueron forasteros y en la cual habitaron.

and also I have established My covenant with them, to give to them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;

5 A simismo yo he oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel, a quienes hacen servir los egipcios, y me he acordado de mi pacto.

and also I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.

6 P or tanto, dirás a los hijos de Israel: “Yo soy Jehová. Yo os sacaré de debajo de las pesadas tareas de Egipto, os libraré de su servidumbre y os redimiré con brazo extendido y con gran justicia.

`Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I Jehovah, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by a stretched-out arm, and by great judgments,

7 O s tomaré como mi pueblo y seré vuestro Dios. Así sabréis que yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios, que os sacó de debajo de las pesadas tareas de Egipto.

and have taken you to Me for a people, and I have been to you for God, and ye have known that I Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;

8 O s meteré en la tierra por la cual alcé mi mano jurando que la daría a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob. Yo os la daré por heredad. Yo soy Jehová.”

and I have brought you in unto the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you -- a possession; I Jehovah.'

9 D e esta manera habló Moisés a los hijos de Israel; pero ellos no escuchaban a Moisés, debido al desaliento que los embargaba a causa de la dura servidumbre.

And Moses speaketh so unto the sons of Israel, and they hearkened not unto Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.

10 E ntonces Jehová dijo a Moisés:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

11 — Entra y dile al faraón, rey de Egipto, que deje ir de su tierra a los hijos de Israel.

`Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he doth send the sons of Israel out of his land;

12 M oisés respondió ante Jehová: —Los hijos de Israel no me escuchan, ¿cómo me escuchará el faraón, a mí, que soy torpe de labios?

and Moses speaketh before Jehovah, saying, `Lo, the sons of Israel have not hearkened unto me, and how doth Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?'

13 E ntonces Jehová habló a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dio órdenes para los hijos de Israel y para el faraón, rey de Egipto, a fin de que sacaran a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto.

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and chargeth them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.

14 É stos son los jefes de las casas paternas: Hijos de Rubén, el primogénito de Israel: Hanoc, Falú, Hezrón y Carmi. Éstas son las familias de Rubén.

These heads of the house of their fathers: Sons of Reuben first-born of Israel Hanoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these families of Reuben.

15 H ijos de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Zohar y Saúl, hijo de una cananea. Éstas son las familias de Simeón.

And sons of Simeon Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanitess: these families of Simeon.

16 É stos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví por sus generaciones: Gersón, Coat y Merari. Leví vivió ciento treinta y siete años.

And these the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi a hundred and thirty and seven years.

17 H ijos de Gersón fueron: Libni y Simei, por sus familias.

The sons of Gershon Libni, and Shimi, as to their families.

18 H ijos de Coat: Amram, Izhar, Hebrón y Uziel. Coat vivió ciento treinta y tres años.

And the sons of Kohath Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath a hundred and thirty and three years.

19 H ijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi. Éstas son las familias de Leví por sus generaciones.

And the sons of Merari Mahli and Mushi: these families of Levi, as to their births.

20 A mram tomó por mujer a Jocabed, su tía, la cual dio a luz a Aarón y a Moisés. Amram vivió ciento treinta y siete años.

And Amram taketh Jochebed his aunt to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram a hundred and thirty and seven years.

21 H ijos de Izhar: Coré, Nefeg y Zicri.

And sons of Izhar Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

22 H ijos de Uziel: Misael, Elzafán y Sitri.

And sons of Uzziel Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

23 T omó Aarón por mujer a Elisabet, hija de Aminadab, hermana de Naasón, la cual dio a luz a Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

And Aaron taketh Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

24 H ijos de Coré: Asir, Elcana y Abiasaf. Éstas son las familias de los coreítas.

And sons of Korah Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these families of the Korhite.

25 E leazar hijo de Aarón tomó para sí mujer de las hijas de Futiel, la cual dio a luz a Finees. Éstos son los jefes de los padres de los levitas por sus familias.

And Eleazar, Aaron's son, hath taken to him of the daughters of Putiel for a wife to himself, and she beareth to him Phinehas: these heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.

26 É stos son aquel Aarón y aquel Moisés, a los cuales Jehová dijo: «Sacad a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto por grupos.»

This Aaron -- and Moses -- to whom Jehovah said, `Bring ye out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts;'

27 É stos fueron los que hablaron al faraón, rey de Egipto, para sacar de Egipto a los hijos de Israel. Fueron Moisés y Aarón.

these are they who are speaking unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this Moses -- and Aaron.

28 C uando Jehová habló a Moisés en la tierra de Egipto,

And it cometh to pass in the day of Jehovah's speaking unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

29 l e dijo: —Yo soy Jehová; di al faraón, rey de Egipto, todas las cosas que yo te digo a ti.

that Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, `I Jehovah, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking unto thee.'

30 M oisés respondió ante Jehová: —Yo soy torpe de labios; ¿cómo, pues, me ha de oír el faraón?

And Moses saith before Jehovah, `Lo, I of uncircumcised lips, and how doth Pharaoh hearken unto me?'
