1 A l octavo día, Moisés llamó a Aarón, a sus hijos y a los ancianos de Israel,

And it cometh to pass on the eighth day, Moses hath called for Aaron and for his sons, and for the elders of Israel,

2 y dijo a Aarón: «Toma de la vacada un becerro para la expiación y un carnero para el holocausto, ambos sin defecto, y ofrécelos delante de Jehová.

and he saith unto Aaron, `Take to thyself a calf, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, perfect ones, and bring near before Jehovah.

3 L uego hablarás a los hijos de Israel y les dirás: “Tomad un macho cabrío para la expiación, y un becerro y un cordero de un año, ambos sin defecto, para el holocausto.

`And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and a calf, and a lamb, sons of a year, perfect ones, for a burnt-offering,

4 A simismo un buey y un carnero para el sacrificio de paz, los cuales inmolaréis delante de Jehová, y una ofrenda amasada con aceite, porque Jehová se manifestará hoy a vosotros.”»

and a bullock and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before Jehovah, and a present mixed with oil; for to-day Jehovah hath appeared unto you.'

5 E llos llevaron delante del Tabernáculo de reunión lo que mandó Moisés; vino toda la congregación y se puso delante de Jehová.

And they take that which Moses hath commanded unto the front of the tent of meeting, and all the company draw near and stand before Jehovah;

6 E ntonces Moisés dijo: «Esto es lo que mandó Jehová; hacedlo, y la gloria de Jehová se os manifestará.»

and Moses saith, `This the thing which Jehovah hath commanded; do, and the honour of Jehovah doth appear unto you.'

7 D espués dijo Moisés a Aarón: «Acércate al altar, ofrece tu sacrificio de expiación y tu holocausto, y haz la reconciliación por ti y por el pueblo; presenta también la ofrenda del pueblo, y haz la reconciliación por ellos, como ha mandado Jehová.»

And Moses saith unto Aaron, `Draw near unto the altar, and make thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people, and make the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah hath commanded.'

8 E ntonces se acercó Aarón al altar y degolló el becerro de su sacrificio de expiación.

And Aaron draweth near unto the altar, and slaughtereth the calf of the sin-offering, which for himself;

9 L os hijos de Aarón le trajeron la sangre, y él, mojando su dedo en la sangre, untó con ella los cuernos del altar y derramó el resto de la sangre al pie del altar.

and the sons of Aaron bring the blood near unto him, and he dippeth his finger in the blood, and putteth on the horns of the altar, and the blood he hath poured out at the foundation of the altar;

10 L uego hizo arder sobre el altar la grasa, los riñones y la grasa del hígado de la víctima de la expiación, como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés.

and the fat, and the kidneys, and the redundance of the liver, of the sin-offering, he hath made a perfume on the altar, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses;

11 P ero la carne y la piel las quemó al fuego fuera del campamento.

and the flesh and the skin he hath burnt with fire, at the outside of the camp.

12 D egolló asimismo el holocausto, y los hijos de Aarón le presentaron la sangre, la cual él roció en el altar, por todos sus lados.

And he slaughtereth the burnt-offering, and the sons of Aaron have presented unto him the blood, and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about;

13 D espués le presentaron el holocausto pieza por pieza, junto con la cabeza, y lo hizo quemar todo sobre el altar.

and the burnt-offering they have presented unto him, by its pieces, and the head, and he maketh perfume on the altar;

14 L uego de haber lavado los intestinos y las piernas, los quemó en el altar sobre el holocausto.

and he washeth the inwards and the legs, and maketh perfume for the burnt-offering on the altar.

15 P resentó también la ofrenda del pueblo: Tomó el macho cabrío que era para la expiación del pueblo, lo degolló y lo ofreció por el pecado, como el primero.

And he bringeth near the offering of the people, and taketh the goat of the sin-offering which for the people, and slaughtered it, and maketh it a sin-offering, like the first;

16 O freció el holocausto, y lo hizo según el rito.

and he bringeth near the burnt-offering, and maketh it, according to the ordinance;

17 P resentó asimismo la oblación, de la que tomó un puñado y la hizo quemar sobre el altar, además del holocausto de la mañana.

and he bringeth near the present, and filleth his palm with it, and maketh perfume on the altar, apart from the burnt-offering of the morning.

18 D egolló también el buey y el carnero en sacrificio de paz por el pueblo. Los hijos de Aarón le presentaron la sangre, la cual él roció en el altar, por todos sus lados.

And he slaughtereth the bullock and the ram, a sacrifice of the peace-offerings, which for the people, and sons of Aaron present the blood unto him (and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about),

19 T ambién le presentaron las grasas del buey y del carnero, la cola, la grasa que cubre los intestinos, los riñones y la grasa del hígado,

and the fat of the bullock, and of the ram, the fat tail, and the covering, and the kidneys, and the redundance above the liver,

20 y pusieron las grasas sobre los pechos. Entonces quemó las grasas sobre el altar,

and they set the fat on the breasts, and he maketh perfume with the fat on the altar;

21 p ero los pechos, junto con la pierna derecha, los meció Aarón, como ofrenda mecida delante de Jehová, tal como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés.

and the breasts, and the right leg hath Aaron waved -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, as He hath commanded Moses.

22 A arón alzó sus manos hacia el pueblo, y lo bendijo; y después de hacer la expiación, el holocausto y el sacrificio de paz, descendió.

And Aaron lifteth up his hand towards the people, and blesseth them, and cometh down from making the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.

23 L uego entraron Moisés y Aarón en el Tabernáculo de reunión. Cuando salieron, bendijeron al pueblo, y la gloria de Jehová se manifestó a todo el pueblo.

And Moses goeth in -- Aaron also -- unto the tent of meeting, and they come out, and bless the people, and the honour of Jehovah appeareth unto all the people;

24 S alió fuego de la presencia de Jehová y consumió el holocausto con las grasas que estaban sobre el altar. Al ver esto, todos los del pueblo alabaron y se postraron sobre sus rostros.

and fire cometh out from before Jehovah, and consumeth on the altar the burnt-offering, and the fat; and all the people see, and cry aloud, and fall on their faces.
