1 « Así dice Jehová a su ungido, a Ciro, al cual tomé yo por su mano derecha para sujetar naciones delante de él y desatar lomos de reyes; para abrir puertas delante de él, puertas que no se cerrarán:

Thus said Jehovah, To His anointed, to Cyrus, Whose right hand I have laid hold on, To subdue nations before him, Yea, loins of kings I loose, To open before him two-leaved doors, Yea, gates are not shut:

2 Y o iré delante de ti y enderezaré los lugares torcidos; quebrantaré puertas de bronce y haré pedazos cerrojos de hierro.

`I go before thee, and crooked places make straight, Two-leaved doors of brass I shiver, And bars of iron I cut asunder,

3 T e daré los tesoros escondidos y los secretos muy guardados, para que sepas que yo soy Jehová, el Dios de Israel, que te pongo nombre.

And have given to thee treasures of darkness, Even treasures of secret places, So that thou knowest that I, Jehovah, Who am calling on thy name -- the God of Israel.

4 P or amor de mi siervo Jacob, de Israel, mi escogido, te llamé por tu nombre; te puse un nombre insigne, aunque no me has conocido.

For the sake of my servant Jacob, And of Israel My chosen, I call also thee by thy name, I surname thee, And thou hast not known Me.

5 Y o soy Jehová y no hay ningún otro. No hay Dios fuera de mí. Yo te ceñiré, aunque tú no me has conocido,

I Jehovah, and there is none else, Except Me there is no God, I gird thee, and thou hast not known Me.

6 p ara que se sepa desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone, que no hay más que yo. Yo soy Jehová, y no hay ningún otro.

So that they know from the rising of the sun, And from the west, that there is none besides Me, I Jehovah, and there is none else,

7 Y o formo la luz y creo las tinieblas, hago la paz y creo la adversidad. Sólo yo, Jehová, soy el que hago todo esto. Jehová el Creador

Forming light, and preparing darkness, Making peace, and preparing evil, I Jehovah, doing all these things.'

8 » Rociad, cielos, desde arriba, y las nubes destilen la justicia; ábrase la tierra y prodúzcanse la salvación y la justicia; háganse brotar juntamente. Yo, Jehová, lo he creado.

Drop, ye heavens, from above, And clouds do cause righteousness to flow, Earth openeth, and they are fruitful, Salvation and righteousness spring up together, I, Jehovah, have prepared it.

9 » ¡Ay del que, no siendo más que un tiesto como cualquier tiesto de la tierra, pleitea con su Hacedor! ¿Dirá el barro al que lo modela: “¿Qué haces?”, o: “Tu obra, ¿no tiene manos?”?

Wo him who is striving with his Former, (A potsherd with potsherds of the ground!) Doth clay say to its Framer, `What dost thou?' And thy work, `He hath no hands?'

10 ¡ Ay del que dice al padre: “¿Por qué engendraste?”, y a la mujer: “¿Por qué diste a luz?”!»

Wo him who is saying to a father, `What dost thou beget?' Or to a wife, `What dost thou bring forth?

11 A sí dice Jehová, el Santo de Israel, el que lo formó: «Preguntadme de las cosas por venir; mandadme acerca de mis hijos y acerca de la obra de mis manos.

Thus said Jehovah, The Holy One of Israel, and his Former: Ask Me of the things coming concerning My sons, Yea, concerning the work of My hands, ye command Me.'

12 Y o hice la tierra y creé sobre ella al ser humano. Yo, mis manos, desplegaron los cielos y pongo en orden todo su ejército.

I made earth, and man on it prepared, I -- My hands stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded.

13 Y o lo desperté en justicia y enderezaré todos sus caminos; él edificará mi ciudad y soltará a mis cautivos; no por precio ni por dones», dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

I have stirred him up in righteousness, And all his ways I make straight, He doth build My city, and My captivity doth send out, Not for price, nor for bribe, said Jehovah of Hosts.

14 A sí dice Jehová: «El trabajo de Egipto, las mercaderías de Etiopía y los sabeos, hombres de elevada estatura, se pasarán a ti y serán tuyos; irán en pos de ti, pasarán encadenados, te harán reverencia y te suplicarán diciendo: “Ciertamente en ti está Dios, y no hay otro fuera de Dios.

Thus said Jehovah, `The labour of Egypt, And the merchandise of Cush, And of the Sebaim -- men of measure, Unto thee pass over, and thine they are, After thee they go, in fetters they pass over, And unto thee they bow themselves, Unto thee they pray: Only in thee God, And there is none else, no God.

15 V erdaderamente tú eres Dios que te ocultas, Dios de Israel, que salvas.”

Surely Thou a God hiding Thyself, God of Israel -- Saviour!

16 A vergonzados y afrentados serán todos ellos; afrentados irán todos los que fabrican imágenes.

They have been ashamed, And they have even blushed -- all of them, Together gone in confusion have those carving images.

17 I srael será salvo en Jehová con salvación eterna; nunca jamás os avergonzaréis ni seréis afrentados.»

Israel hath been saved in Jehovah, A salvation age-during! Ye are not ashamed nor confounded Unto the ages of eternity!

18 P orque así dice Jehová, que creó los cielos. Él es Dios, el que formó la tierra, el que la hizo y la compuso. No la creó en vano, sino para que fuera habitada la creó: «Yo soy Jehová y no hay otro.

For thus said Jehovah, Creator of heaven, He is God, Former of earth, and its Maker, He established it -- not empty He prepared it, For inhabiting He formed it: `I Jehovah, and there is none else.

19 N o hablé en secreto, en un lugar oscuro de la tierra; no dije a la descendencia de Jacob: “En vano me buscáis.” Yo soy Jehová, que hablo justicia, que anuncio rectitud. Jehová y los ídolos de Babilonia

Not in secret have I spoken, in a dark place of the earth, I have not said to the seed of Jacob, In vain seek ye Me, I Jehovah, speaking righteousness, Declaring uprightness.

20 » ¡Reuníos y venid! ¡Acercaos todos los sobrevivientes de entre las naciones! No tienen conocimiento aquellos que erigen su ídolo de madera, y los que ruegan a un dios que no salva.

Be gathered, and come in, Come nigh together, ye escaped of the nations, They have not known, Who are lifting up the wood of their graven image, And praying unto a god saveth not.

21 D eclarad, exponed pruebas y entrad todos en consulta. ¿Quién hizo oír esto desde el principio y lo tiene dicho desde entonces, sino yo, Jehová? Y no hay más Dios que yo, Dios justo y salvador. No hay otro fuera de mí.

Declare ye, and bring near, Yea, they take counsel together, Who hath proclaimed this from of old? From that time hath declared it? Is it not I -- Jehovah? And there is no other god besides Me, A God righteous and saving, there is none save Me.

22 » ¡Mirad a mí y sed salvos, todos los términos de la tierra, porque yo soy Dios, y no hay otro!

Turn to Me, and be saved, all ends of the earth, For I God, and there is none else.

23 P or mí mismo hice juramento, de mi boca salió palabra en justicia y no será revocada: “Que ante mí se doblará toda rodilla y jurará toda lengua.”

By Myself I have sworn, Gone out from my mouth in righteousness hath a word, And it turneth not back, That to Me, bow doth every knee, every tongue swear.

24 Y de mí se dirá: “Ciertamente en Jehová está la justicia y la fuerza.” A él vendrán, y todos los que contra él se enardecen serán avergonzados.

Only in Jehovah, said hath one, Have I righteousness and strength, Unto Him he cometh in, And ashamed are all those displeased with Him.

25 E n Jehová será justificada y se gloriará toda la descendencia de Israel.»

In Jehovah are all the seed of Israel justified, And they boast themselves.'
