1 P or esta causa yo, Pablo, prisionero de Cristo Jesús por vosotros los gentiles...

For this cause, I Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you the nations,

2 S eguramente habéis oído de la administración de la gracia de Dios que me fue dada para con vosotros,

if, indeed, ye did hear of the dispensation of the grace of God that was given to me in regard to you,

3 p ues por revelación me fue declarado el misterio, como antes lo he escrito brevemente.

that by revelation He made known to me the secret, according as I wrote before in few --

4 A l leerlo podéis entender cuál sea mi conocimiento en el misterio de Cristo,

in regard to which ye are able, reading, to understand my knowledge in the secret of the Christ,

5 e l cual en otras generaciones no se dio a conocer a los hijos de los hombres, como ahora es revelado a sus santos apóstoles y profetas por el Espíritu:

which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit --

6 q ue los gentiles son coherederos y miembros del mismo cuerpo, y copartícipes de la promesa en Cristo Jesús por medio del evangelio,

that the nations be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of His promise in the Christ, through the good news,

7 d el cual yo fui hecho ministro por el don de la gracia de Dios que me ha sido dado según la acción de su poder.

of which I became a ministrant, according to the gift of the grace of God that was given to me, according to the working of His power;

8 A mí, que soy menos que el más pequeño de todos los santos, me fue dada esta gracia de anunciar entre los gentiles el evangelio de las insondables riquezas de Cristo,

to me -- the less than the least of all the saints -- was given this grace, among the nations to proclaim good news -- the untraceable riches of the Christ,

9 y de aclarar a todos cuál sea el plan del misterio escondido desde los siglos en Dios, el creador de todas las cosas,

and to cause all to see what the fellowship of the secret that hath been hid from the ages in God, who the all things did create by Jesus Christ,

10 p ara que la multiforme sabiduría de Dios sea ahora dada a conocer por medio de la iglesia a los principados y potestades en los lugares celestiales,

that there might be made known now to the principalities and the authorities in the heavenly, through the assembly, the manifold wisdom of God,

11 c onforme al propósito eterno que hizo en Cristo Jesús, nuestro Señor,

according to a purpose of the ages, which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord,

12 e n quien tenemos seguridad y acceso con confianza por medio de la fe en él.

in whom we have the freedom and the access in confidence through the faith of him,

13 P or eso, pido que no desmayéis a causa de mis tribulaciones por vosotros, las cuales son vuestra gloria. El amor que excede a todo conocimiento

wherefore, I ask not to faint in my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

14 P or esta causa doblo mis rodillas ante el Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 ( de quien toma nombre toda familia en los cielos y en la tierra),

of whom the whole family in the heavens and on earth is named,

16 p ara que os dé, conforme a las riquezas de su gloria, el ser fortalecidos con poder en el hombre interior por su Espíritu;

that He may give to you, according to the riches of His glory, with might to be strengthened through His Spirit, in regard to the inner man,

17 q ue habite Cristo por la fe en vuestros corazones, a fin de que, arraigados y cimentados en amor,

that the Christ may dwell through the faith in your hearts, in love having been rooted and founded,

18 s eáis plenamente capaces de comprender con todos los santos cuál sea la anchura, la longitud, la profundidad y la altura,

that ye may be in strength to comprehend, with all the saints, what the breadth, and length, and depth, and height,

19 y de conocer el amor de Cristo, que excede a todo conocimiento, para que seáis llenos de toda la plenitud de Dios.

to know also the love of the Christ that is exceeding the knowledge, that ye may be filled -- to all the fulness of God;

20 Y a Aquel que es poderoso para hacer todas las cosas mucho más abundantemente de lo que pedimos o entendemos, según el poder que actúa en nosotros,

and to Him who is able above all things to do exceeding abundantly what we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us,

21 a él sea gloria en la iglesia en Cristo Jesús por todas las edades, por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

to Him the glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen.
