1 P ablo, apóstol de Jesucristo por la voluntad de Dios, a los santos y fieles en Cristo Jesús que están en Éfeso:

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

2 G racia y paz a vosotros de parte de Dios, nuestro Padre, y del Señor Jesucristo. Bendiciones espirituales en Cristo

Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!

3 B endito sea el Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que nos bendijo con toda bendición espiritual en los lugares celestiales en Cristo,

Blessed the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who did bless us in every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

4 s egún nos escogió en él antes de la fundación del mundo, para que fuéramos santos y sin mancha delante de él.

according as He did choose us in him before the foundation of the world, for our being holy and unblemished before Him, in love,

5 P or su amor, nos predestinó para ser adoptados hijos suyos por medio de Jesucristo, según el puro afecto de su voluntad,

having foreordained us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

6 p ara alabanza de la gloria de su gracia, con la cual nos hizo aceptos en el Amado.

to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He did make us accepted in the beloved,

7 E n él tenemos redención por su sangre, el perdón de pecados según las riquezas de su gracia,

in whom we have the redemption through his blood, the remission of the trespasses, according to the riches of His grace,

8 q ue hizo sobreabundar para con nosotros en toda sabiduría e inteligencia.

in which He did abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

9 É l nos dio a conocer el misterio de su voluntad, según su beneplácito, el cual se había propuesto en sí mismo,

having made known to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure, that He purposed in Himself,

10 d e reunir todas las cosas en Cristo, en el cumplimiento de los tiempos establecidos, así las que están en los cielos como las que están en la tierra.

in regard to the dispensation of the fulness of the times, to bring into one the whole in the Christ, both the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth -- in him;

11 E n él asimismo tuvimos herencia, habiendo sido predestinados conforme al propósito del que hace todas las cosas según el designio de su voluntad,

in whom also we did obtain an inheritance, being foreordained according to the purpose of Him who the all things is working according to the counsel of His will,

12 a fin de que seamos para alabanza de su gloria, nosotros los que primeramente esperábamos en Cristo.

for our being to the praise of His glory, those who did first hope in the Christ,

13 E n él también vosotros, habiendo oído la palabra de verdad, el evangelio de vuestra salvación, y habiendo creído en él, fuisteis sellados con el Espíritu Santo de la promesa,

in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth -- the good news of your salvation -- in whom also having believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise,

14 q ue es las arras de nuestra herencia hasta la redención de la posesión adquirida, para alabanza de su gloria. El espíritu de sabiduría y de revelación

which is an earnest of our inheritance, to the redemption of the acquired possession, to the praise of His glory.

15 P or esta causa también yo, habiendo oído de vuestra fe en el Señor Jesús y de vuestro amor para con todos los santos,

Because of this I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and the love to all the saints,

16 n o ceso de dar gracias por vosotros, haciendo memoria de vosotros en mis oraciones,

do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,

17 p ara que el Dios de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el Padre de gloria, os dé espíritu de sabiduría y de revelación en el conocimiento de él;

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the recognition of him,

18 q ue él alumbre los ojos de vuestro entendimiento, para que sepáis cuál es la esperanza a que él os ha llamado, cuáles las riquezas de la gloria de su herencia en los santos

the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, for your knowing what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

19 y cuál la extraordinaria grandeza de su poder para con nosotros los que creemos, según la acción de su fuerza poderosa.

and what the exceeding greatness of His power to us who are believing, according to the working of the power of His might,

20 E sta fuerza operó en Cristo, resucitándolo de los muertos y sentándolo a su derecha en los lugares celestiales,

which He wrought in the Christ, having raised him out of the dead, and did set at His right hand in the heavenly,

21 s obre todo principado y autoridad, poder y señorío, y sobre todo nombre que se nombra, no sólo en este siglo, sino también en el venidero.

far above all principality, and authority, and might, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one;

22 Y sometió todas las cosas debajo de sus pies, y lo dio por cabeza sobre todas las cosas a la iglesia,

and all things He did put under his feet, and did give him -- head over all things to the assembly,

23 l a cual es su cuerpo, la plenitud de Aquel que todo lo llena en todo.

which is his body, the fulness of Him who is filling the all in all,
