1 Î n cea de-a opta zi, Moise i-a convocat pe Aaron, pe fiii săi şi pe cei din sfatul bătrânilor lui Israel.

And it cometh to pass on the eighth day, Moses hath called for Aaron and for his sons, and for the elders of Israel,

2 E l i-a zis lui Aaron: „Ia un viţel pentru o jertfă pentru păcat şi un berbec fără meteahnă pentru o ardere de tot şi adu-i înaintea Domnului.

and he saith unto Aaron, `Take to thyself a calf, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, perfect ones, and bring near before Jehovah.

3 I ar israeliţilor să le spui să ia un ţap pentru o jertfă pentru păcat, un viţel şi un miel de un an, fără meteahnă, pentru o ardere de tot,

`And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and a calf, and a lamb, sons of a year, perfect ones, for a burnt-offering,

4 u n bou şi un berbec pentru o jertfă de pace şi să-i aducă înaintea Domnului; de asemenea, să aducă şi un dar de mâncare amestecat cu ulei, căci astăzi li Se va arăta Domnul. “

and a bullock and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before Jehovah, and a present mixed with oil; for to-day Jehovah hath appeared unto you.'

5 I sraeliţii au adus în faţa Cortului Întâlnirii ce a poruncit Moise şi toată adunarea s-a apropiat şi a stat înaintea Domnului.

And they take that which Moses hath commanded unto the front of the tent of meeting, and all the company draw near and stand before Jehovah;

6 M oise le-a zis: „Acesta este lucrul pe care Domnul vi l-a poruncit să-l faceţi, pentru ca slava Domnului să vi se arate.“

and Moses saith, `This the thing which Jehovah hath commanded; do, and the honour of Jehovah doth appear unto you.'

7 A poi Moise i-a zis lui Aaron: „Apropie-te de altar şi adu jertfa pentru păcatul tău şi arderea ta de tot şi fă ispăşire pentru tine şi pentru popor; după aceea, adu şi jertfa poporului şi fă ispăşire pentru el, aşa cum a poruncit Domnul. “

And Moses saith unto Aaron, `Draw near unto the altar, and make thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people, and make the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah hath commanded.'

8 A aron s-a apropiat de altar şi a înjunghiat viţelul adus ca jertfă pentru păcat; acesta era pentru el.

And Aaron draweth near unto the altar, and slaughtereth the calf of the sin-offering, which for himself;

9 F iii lui Aaron i-au adus sângele, iar el a luat cu degetul din sânge şi a uns coarnele altarului; restul sângelui l-a turnat la baza altarului.

and the sons of Aaron bring the blood near unto him, and he dippeth his finger in the blood, and putteth on the horns of the altar, and the blood he hath poured out at the foundation of the altar;

10 D ar grăsimea, rinichii şi membrana ficatului de la jertfa pentru păcat le-a ars pe altar, aşa cum i-a poruncit Domnul lui Moise.

and the fat, and the kidneys, and the redundance of the liver, of the sin-offering, he hath made a perfume on the altar, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses;

11 C arnea şi pielea le-a ars în afara taberei.

and the flesh and the skin he hath burnt with fire, at the outside of the camp.

12 A poi a înjunghiat arderea de tot. Fiii lui Aaron i-au adus sângele şi el l-a stropit pe altar, de jur împrejur.

And he slaughtereth the burnt-offering, and the sons of Aaron have presented unto him the blood, and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about;

13 I -au adus arderea de tot tăiată în bucăţi, cu tot cu cap, şi el le-a ars pe altar.

and the burnt-offering they have presented unto him, by its pieces, and the head, and he maketh perfume on the altar;

14 A spălat măruntaiele şi picioarele şi le-a ars pe altar, deasupra arderii de tot.

and he washeth the inwards and the legs, and maketh perfume for the burnt-offering on the altar.

15 D upă aceea Aaron a adus jertfa poporului. A luat ţapul care trebuia adus ca jertfă pentru păcatul poporului, l-a înjunghiat, după care l-a adus ca jertfă pentru păcat, ca şi pe cea dintâi jertfă.

And he bringeth near the offering of the people, and taketh the goat of the sin-offering which for the people, and slaughtered it, and maketh it a sin-offering, like the first;

16 A adus apoi arderea de tot şi a jertfit-o potrivit poruncii.

and he bringeth near the burnt-offering, and maketh it, according to the ordinance;

17 A adus darul de mâncare, a luat un pumn de făină din el şi a ars-o pe altar, pe lângă arderea de tot de dimineaţă.

and he bringeth near the present, and filleth his palm with it, and maketh perfume on the altar, apart from the burnt-offering of the morning.

18 D upă aceea a înjunghiat boul şi berbecul ca jertfă de pace pentru popor. Fiii lui Aaron i-au adus sângele şi el l-a stropit pe altar, de jur împrejur.

And he slaughtereth the bullock and the ram, a sacrifice of the peace-offerings, which for the people, and sons of Aaron present the blood unto him (and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about),

19 I -au adus apoi grăsimea boului şi a berbecului: grăsimea cozilor, grăsimea de pe măruntaie, rinichii şi grăsimea de pe ei, membranele de pe ficaţi.

and the fat of the bullock, and of the ram, the fat tail, and the covering, and the kidneys, and the redundance above the liver,

20 A u pus grăsimea deasupra piepţilor, iar Aaron a ars această grăsime pe altar.

and they set the fat on the breasts, and he maketh perfume with the fat on the altar;

21 D upă aceea, a legănat piepţii şi spata dreaptă ca jertfă legănată înaintea Domnului, aşa cum a poruncit Moise.

and the breasts, and the right leg hath Aaron waved -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, as He hath commanded Moses.

22 A aron şi-a ridicat mâinile spre popor şi l-a binecuvântat. Apoi Aaron s-a coborât din locul în care a adus jertfa pentru păcat, arderea de tot şi jertfa de pace.

And Aaron lifteth up his hand towards the people, and blesseth them, and cometh down from making the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.

23 M oise şi Aaron au intrat în Cortul Întâlnirii, iar când au ieşit, au binecuvântat poporul. Atunci slava Domnului s-a arătat întregului popor.

And Moses goeth in -- Aaron also -- unto the tent of meeting, and they come out, and bless the people, and the honour of Jehovah appeareth unto all the people;

24 U n foc a ieşit dinaintea Domnului şi a mistuit arderea de tot şi grăsimea de pe altar. Tot poporul a văzut lucrul acesta, a chiuit de bucurie şi a căzut cu faţa la pământ.

and fire cometh out from before Jehovah, and consumeth on the altar the burnt-offering, and the fat; and all the people see, and cry aloud, and fall on their faces.
