1 S ă faci apoi un altar din lemn de salcâm pe care să arzi tămâie.

`And thou hast made an altar making perfume; shittim wood thou dost make it;

2 A tât lungimea, cât şi lăţimea lui să fie de un cot, având o suprafaţă pătrată. Înălţimea să-i fie de doi coţi, iar coarnele să fie dintr-o bucată cu el.

a cubit its length, and a cubit its breadth, (it is square), and two cubits its height; its horns of the same.

3 S ă poleieşti cu aur curat atât partea superioară şi părţile laterale ale altarului, cât şi coarnele sale. Să-i faci un chenar de aur de jur împrejur

`And thou hast overlaid it with pure gold, its top, and its sides round about, and its horns; and thou hast made to it a crown of gold round about;

4 ş i două inele de aur pe care să le fixezi sub chenar, pe ambele părţi. Ele vor ţine drugii cu care-l vei duce.

and two rings of gold thou dost make to it under its crown; on its two ribs thou dost make, on its two sides, and they have become places for staves, to bear it with them.

5 S ă faci drugii din lemn de salcâm şi să-i poleieşti cu aur.

`And thou hast made the staves of shittim wood, and hast overlaid them with gold;

6 S ă aşezi altarul în faţa draperiei care este înaintea Chivotului Mărturiei – în faţa Capacului Ispăşirii care este deasupra Mărturiei – unde mă voi întâlni cu tine.

and thou hast put it before the vail, which by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy-seat which over the testimony, whither I am met with thee.

7 A aron să ardă tămâie pe el în fiecare dimineaţă când pregăteşte candelele.

`And Aaron hath made perfume on it, perfume of spices, morning by morning; in his making the lamps right he doth perfume it,

8 D e asemenea să ardă tămâie pe el şi între cele două seri, când va aprinde candelele. Astfel, va fi tot timpul tămâie din partea voastră înaintea Domnului, din neam în neam.

and in Aaron's causing the lamps to go up between the evenings, he doth perfume it; a continual perfume before Jehovah to your generations.

9 S ă nu arzi tămâie străină pe el, să nu aduci pe el nici ardere de tot, nici dar de mâncare şi să nu torni nici o jertfă de băutură pe el.

`Ye do not cause strange perfume to go up upon it, and burnt-offering, and present, and libation ye do not pour out on it;

10 D oar o dată pe an, Aaron va face ispăşire pe coarnele altarului. Această ispăşire anuală va trebui făcută cu sângele jertfei pentru ispăşirea păcatului; de asemenea, ea va trebui făcută din neam în neam. Acesta este un lucru preasfânt înaintea Domnului. “ Instrucţiuni privind preţul răscumpărării

and Aaron hath made atonement on its horns, once in a year, by the blood of the sin-offering of atonements; once in a year doth he make atonement for it, to your generations; it most holy to Jehovah.'

11 D omnul i-a mai zis lui Moise:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

12 „ Când vei face numărătoarea israeliţilor, fiecare va trebui să plătească Domnului, atunci când va fi numărat, un preţ de răscumpărare pentru viaţa lui, pentru ca atunci când vei face numărătoarea nici o nenorocire să nu vină peste ei.

`When thou takest up the sum of the sons of Israel for their numbers, then they have given each an atonement his soul to Jehovah in their being numbered, and there is no plague among them in their being numbered.

13 F iecare dintre cei ce sunt număraţi să dea o jumătate de şechel, după şechelul Lăcaşului (un şechel este douăzeci de ghere); această jumătate de şechel va fi o jertfă pentru Domnul.

`This they do give, every one passing over unto those numbered, half a shekel, by the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel twenty gerahs); half a shekel the heave-offering to Jehovah;

14 F iecare dintre cei număraţi, cei având vârsta de la douăzeci de ani în sus, să ofere această jertfă Domnului.

every one passing over unto those numbered, from a son of twenty years and upwards, doth give the heave-offering of Jehovah;

15 C ând vei aduce Domnu lui această jertfă ca să faci ispăşire pentru sufletele voastre, cel bogat să nu dea mai mult de o jumătate de şechel, iar cel sărac să nu dea mai puţin.

the rich doth not multiply, and the poor doth not diminish from the half-shekel, to give the heave-offering of Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.

16 S ă primeşti de la israeliţi argintul pentru ispăşire şi să-l foloseşti pentru slujirea din Cortul Întâlnirii; aceasta va fi pentru israeliţi o aducere-aminte înaintea Domnului a preţului de răscumpărare pentru sufletele lor.“ Instrucţiuni privind vasul pentru spălare

`And thou hast taken the atonement-money from the sons of Israel, and hast given it for the service of the tent of meeting; and it hath been to the sons of Israel for a memorial before Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.'

17 D upă aceea, Domnul i-a zis lui Moise:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

18 „ Să faci un lighean din bronz pentru spălat, al cărui piedestal să fie făcut tot din bronz. Să-l aşezi între Cortul Întâlnirii şi altar şi să pui apă în el.

`And thou hast made a laver of brass (and its base of brass), for washing; and thou hast put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and hast put water there;

19 A aron şi fiii lui vor trebui să-şi spele mâinile şi picioarele cu apa din el.

and Aaron and his sons have washed at it their hands and their feet,

20 A tunci când vor intra în Cortul Întâlnirii, să se spele cu apa aceasta ca să nu moară; vor trebui să facă acest lucru atunci când se vor apropia de altar ca să slujească sau când vor aduce Domnului jertfe mistuite de foc.

in their going in unto the tent of meeting they wash water, and die not; or in their drawing nigh unto the altar to minister, to perfume a fire-offering to Jehovah,

21 A şadar, să-şi spele mâinile şi picioarele ca să nu moară. Aceasta să fie o poruncă veşnică pentru Aaron, pentru fiii lui şi pentru urmaşii lor.“ Instrucţiuni privind untdelemnul pentru ungere şi tămâia sacră

then they have washed their hands and their feet, and they die not, and it hath been to them a statute age-during, to him and to his seed to their generations.'

22 D omnul i-a mai zis lui Moise:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

23 „ Ia cele mai fine mirodenii: ia cinci sute de şecheli de smirnă lichidă, apoi ia jumătate de cantitate, adică două sute cincizeci de şecheli de scorţişoară mirositoare, două sute cincizeci de şecheli de trestie mirositoare,

`And thou, take to thyself principal spices, wild honey five hundred; and spice-cinnamon, the half of that, two hundred and fifty; and spice-cane two hundred and fifty;

24 c inci sute de şecheli de cassia măsuraţi după şechelul Lăcaşului şi un hin de ulei de măsline.

and cassia five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, and olive oil a hin;

25 S ă faci din acestea un untdelemn sfânt pentru ungere, un amestec preparat la fel cum se face parfumul; să fie un untdelemn sfânt pentru ungere.

and thou hast made it a holy anointing oil, a compound mixture, work of a compounder; it is a holy anointing oil.

26 C u el să ungi Cortul Întâlnirii, Chivotul Mărturiei,

`And thou hast anointed with it the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony,

27 m asa şi uneltele ei, sfeşnicul şi uneltele lui, altarul tămâierii,

and the table and all its vessels, and the candlestick and its vessels, and the altar of perfume,

28 a ltarul arderilor de tot cu toate uneltele lui şi ligheanul cu piedestalul său.

and the altar of burnt-offering and all its vessels, and the laver and its base;

29 S ă sfinţeşti aceste lucruri ca ele să fie preasfinte; oricine se va atinge de ele va fi sfinţit.

and thou hast sanctified them, and they have been most holy; all that is coming against them is holy;

30 S ă-i ungi pe Aaron şi pe fiii săi şi să-i sfinţeşti, pentru ca ei să fie în slujba Mea ca preoţi.

and Aaron and his sons thou dost anoint, and hast sanctified them for being priests to Me.

31 I ar israeliţilor să le spui: «Acesta va fi untdelemnul Meu sfânt pentru ungere, pentru toate generaţiile de acum încolo.

`And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, A holy anointing oil is this to Me, to your generations;

32 S ă nu fie turnat pe trupul vreunui om şi să nu faceţi altul ca el, după aceeaşi întocmire. El este sfânt, deci să fie sfânt şi pentru voi.

on flesh of man it is not poured, and with its proper proportion ye make none like it; it holy; it is holy to you;

33 O ricine va face un untdelemn ca acesta şi oricine va unge cu el pe cineva care nu este preot, să fie nimicit din poporul său.»“

a man who compoundeth like it, or who putteth of it on a stranger -- hath even been cut off from his people.'

34 D omnul i-a zis lui Moise: „Ia nişte mirodenii plăcut mirositoare, precum stactele, onicele şi galbanul; amestecă câte o parte din fiecare cu tămâie curată

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Take to thee spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, spices and pure frankincense; they are part for part;

35 ş i prepară un amestec de tămâie, la fel cum se face parfumul: să fie sărată, curată şi sfântă.

and thou hast made it a perfume, a compound, work of a compounder, salted, pure, holy;

36 O parte din ea s-o pisezi mărunt şi s-o pui înaintea Mărturiei, în Cortul Întâlnirii unde mă voi întâlni cu tine. Ea să fie preasfântă pentru voi.

and thou hast beaten of it small, and hast put of it before the testimony, in the tent of meeting, whither I am met with thee; most holy it is to you.

37 C ând vei face tămâie după întocmirea aceasta, să n-o faci pentru voi înşivă, ci s-o priveşti ca sfântă pentru Domnul.

`As to the perfume which thou makest, with its proper proportion ye do not make to yourselves, holy it is to thee to Jehovah;

38 O ricine va face tămâie ca aceasta pentru a o folosi ca parfum, să fie nimicit din poporul său.“

a man who maketh like it -- to be refreshed by it -- hath even been cut off from his people.'
