1 C uvântul Domnului a venit la mine şi mi-a zis:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

2 „ Fiul omului, profeţeşte împotriva păstorilor lui Israel! Profeţeşte şi spune-le păstorilor că aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Vai de păstorii lui Israel care se pasc pe ei înşişi. Oare păstorii nu trebuie să pască turma?

`Son of man, prophesy concerning shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and thou hast said unto them: To the shepherds, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Wo the shepherds of Israel, Who have been feeding themselves! The flock do not the shepherds feed?

3 T otuşi voi aţi mâncat grăsimea, v-aţi îmbrăcat cu lâna, aţi tăiat ce era gras, dar turma nu aţi păscut-o!

The fat ye do eat, and the wool ye put on, The fed one ye slaughter, the flock ye feed not.

4 O ile slăbite nu le-aţi întărit, pe cea bolnavă nu aţi vindecat-o, pe cea rănită nu aţi legat-o, pe cea izgonită nu aţi adus-o înapoi, iar pe cea pierdută nu aţi căutat-o. Dimpotrivă, le-aţi condus prin forţă şi asprime.

The weak ye have not strengthened, And the sick one ye have not healed, And the broken ye have not bound up, And the driven away have not brought back, And the lost ye have not sought, And with might ye have ruled them and with rigour.

5 A stfel, din lipsă de păstor, ele au fost împrăştiate şi, împrăştiate fiind, au ajuns hrană pentru toate fiarele câmpului.

And they are scattered from want of a shepherd, And are for food to every beast of the field, Yea, they are scattered.

6 T urma Mea rătăceşte pe toţi munţii, pe orice deal înalt. Turma Mea este împrăştiată pe toată suprafaţa ţării şi nimeni nu o caută, nici nu se uită după ea.»

Go astray do My flock on all the mountains, And on every high hill, And on all the face of the land have My flock been scattered, And there is none inquiring, and none seeking.

7 D e aceea, păstorilor, ascultaţi Cuvântul Domnului:

Therefore, shepherds, hear a word of Jehovah:

8 « Viu sunt Eu, zice Stăpânul Domn, pentru că turma Mea a ajuns de jaf şi este hrană pentru toate fiarele câmpului, din lipsă de păstor, şi pentru că păstorii Mei nu Mi-au căutat turma, ci s-au păscut pe ei înşişi, în loc să-Mi pască turma,

I live -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, If not, because of My flock being for a prey, Yea, My flock is for food to every beast of the field, Because there is no shepherd, And My shepherds have not sought My flock, And the shepherds do feed themselves, And My flock they have not fed.

9 d e aceea, păstorilor, ascultaţi Cuvântul Domnului!

Therefore, O shepherds, hear a word of Jehovah:

10 A şa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: ‘Iată, sunt împotriva păstorilor! Îmi voi cere turma din mâna lor. Nu-i voi mai lăsa să-Mi pască turma şi nu se vor mai paşte nici pe ei înşişi. Îmi voi izbăvi turma din gura lor şi nu le va mai sluji drept hrană’». Dumnezeu, Păstorul lui Israel

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I against the shepherds, And have required My flock from their hand, And caused them to cease from feeding the flock, And no more do the shepherds feed themselves, And I have delivered My flock from their mouth, And they are not to them for food.

11 C ăci aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Iată, Eu Însumi Îmi voi căuta turma şi mă voi uita după ea!

For thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I -- even I, have required My flock, And I have sought it out.

12 C um îşi caută păstorul oile împrăştiate, atunci când se află în mijlocul turmei sale, tot aşa Îmi voi căuta şi Eu oile şi le voi scoate din toate locurile pe unde au fost împrăştiate în ziua plină de nori şi negură.

As a shepherd's searching of his drove, In the day of his being in the midst of his scattered flock, so I do seek My flock, And have delivered them out of all places, Whither they have been scattered, In a day of cloud and thick darkness.

13 L e voi scoate dintre popoare, le voi aduna din ţări străine, le voi aduce în patria lor şi le voi paşte pe munţii lui Israel, de-a lungul albiilor şi în toate zonele locuite ale ţării.

And brought them out from the peoples, And have gathered them from the lands, And brought them unto their own ground, And have fed them on mountains of Israel, By streams, and by all dwellings of the land.

14 L e voi paşte pe o păşune bună, iar staulul le va fi pe munţii cei înalţi ai lui Israel. Acolo se vor odihni într-un staul bun şi vor paşte pe o păşune grasă pe munţii lui Israel.

With good pasture I do feed them, And on mountains of the high place of Israel is their habitation, There do they lie down in a good habitation, And fat pastures they enjoy on mountains of Israel.

15 E u Însumi Îmi voi paşte oile şi le voi da odihnă, zice Stăpânul Domn.

I feed My flock, and cause them to lie down, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

16 O voi căuta pe cea pierdută, o voi aduce înapoi pe cea izgonită, o voi lega pe cea rănită şi o voi întări pe cea slăbită, dar o voi tăia pe cea grasă şi pe cea tare. Îmi voi paşte astfel turma cu dreptate.»

The lost I seek, and the driven away bring back, And the broken I bind up, and the sick I strengthen, And the fat and the strong I destroy, I feed it with judgment.

17 C ât despre tine, turma Mea, aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Voi judeca între oaie şi oaie şi între berbeci şi ţapi.

And you, My flock, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am judging between sheep and sheep, Between rams and he-goats.

18 E ste prea puţin pentru voi că paşteţi în păşunea cea bună de călcaţi în picioare şi ce rămâne din păşunea voastră? Este prea puţin pentru voi că vă adăpaţi din apă limpede de tulburaţi cu picioarele şi ce rămâne după voi?

Is it a little thing for you -- the good pasture ye enjoy, And the remnant of your pasture ye tread down with your feet, And a depth of waters ye do drink, And the remainder with your feet ye trample,

19 T rebuie ca celelalte oi ale Mele să pască ceea ce voi aţi călcat în picioare şi să se adape din apele pe care le-aţi tulburat voi cu picioarele?»

And My flock the trodden thing of your feet consumeth, And the trampled thing of your feet drinketh?

20 D e aceea, aşa le vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Iată, Eu Însumi voi judeca între oaia grasă şi oaia slabă.

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah to them: Lo, I -- even I, have judged between fat sheep and lean sheep.

21 P entru că aţi împins cu coasta şi cu umărul şi aţi împuns cu coarnele toate oile slăbite până le-aţi împrăştiat în afară,

Because with side and with shoulder ye thrust away, And with your horns push all the diseased, Till ye have scattered them to the out-place,

22 v oi veni în ajutorul oilor Mele şi nu vor mai fi de jaf. Voi face judecată astfel între oaie şi oaie.

And I have given safety to My flock, And they are not any more for prey, And I have judged between sheep and sheep.

23 V oi ridica peste ele un singur Păstor, pe Robul Meu David, şi El le va paşte. El le va paşte şi va fi Păstorul lor.

And have raised up over them one shepherd, And he hath fed them -- my servant David, He doth feed them, and he is their shepherd,

24 E u, Domnul, voi fi Dumnezeul lor, iar Robul Meu David va fi Prinţ în mijlocul lor. Eu, Domnul, am vorbit.

And I, Jehovah, I am their God, And My servant David prince in their midst, I, Jehovah, have spoken.

25 V oi încheia cu ele un legământ de pace şi voi îndepărta din ţară fiarele sălbatice, ca să locuiască în siguranţă în sălbăticie şi să poată dormi în păduri.

And I have made for them a covenant of peace, And caused evil beasts to cease out of the land, And they have dwelt in a wilderness confidently, And they have slept in forests.

26 L e voi face o binecuvântare, atât pe ele, cât şi împrejurimile dealului Meu. Le voi trimite ploi la vreme şi acestea vor fi ploi ale binecuvântării.

And I have given them, and the suburbs of my hill, a blessing, And caused the shower to come down in its season, Showers of blessing they are.

27 C opacul de pe câmp îşi va da rodul, pământul îşi va da recolta, iar ele vor putea locui în siguranţă în ţara lor. Şi vor şti că Eu sunt Domnul când voi rupe legăturile jugului lor şi le voi scăpa din mâna celor ce le-au înrobit.

And given hath the tree of the field its fruit, And the land doth give her increase, And they have been on their land confident, And they have known that I Jehovah, In My breaking the bands of their yoke, And I have delivered them from the hand of those laying service on them.

28 N u vor mai fi de jaf pentru neamuri şi fiarele din ţară nu le vor mai devora; vor locui în siguranţă şi nimeni nu le va mai îngrozi.

And they are no more a prey to nations, And the beast of the earth devoureth them not, And they have dwelt confidently, And there is none troubling.

29 L e voi ridica un răsad căruia i se va duce faima şi nu vor mai suferi de foame în ţară, nici nu vor mai purta ruşinea pricinuită de neamuri.

And I have raised for them a plant for renown, And they are no more consumed by hunger in the land, And they bear no more the shame of the nations.

30 Ş i vor şti astfel că Eu, Domnul, Dumnezeul lor, sunt cu ele, iar ele sunt poporul Meu, Casa lui Israel, zice Stăpânul Domn.

And they have known that I, Jehovah, their God, with them, And they -- the house of Israel -- My people, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

31 V oi sunteţi turma Mea, turma păşunii Mele, fiecare dintre voi, iar Eu sunt Dumnezeul vostru, zice Stăpânul Domn. »“

And ye, My flock, the flock of My pasture, Men ye -- I your God, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
