1 V ino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

2 H ijo de hombre, profetiza contra los pastores de Israel; profetiza, y di a los pastores: Así dice el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de los pastores de Israel, que se apacientan a sí mismos! ¿No deben los pastores apacentar el rebaño?

`Son of man, prophesy concerning shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and thou hast said unto them: To the shepherds, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Wo the shepherds of Israel, Who have been feeding themselves! The flock do not the shepherds feed?

3 C oméis la grosura, y os vestís de la lana, degolláis la engordada; mas no apacentáis a las ovejas.

The fat ye do eat, and the wool ye put on, The fed one ye slaughter, the flock ye feed not.

4 N o fortalecisteis las débiles, ni curasteis la enferma; no vendasteis la perniquebrada, ni volvisteis al redil la descarriada, ni buscasteis la perdida, sino que os habéis enseñoreado de ellas con violencia y con dureza.

The weak ye have not strengthened, And the sick one ye have not healed, And the broken ye have not bound up, And the driven away have not brought back, And the lost ye have not sought, And with might ye have ruled them and with rigour.

5 Y andan errantes por falta de pastor, y son presa de todas las fieras del campo, y se han dispersado.

And they are scattered from want of a shepherd, And are for food to every beast of the field, Yea, they are scattered.

6 A nduvieron perdidas mis ovejas por todos los montes, y en todo collado alto; y en toda la faz de la tierra fueron esparcidas mis ovejas, y no hubo quien las buscase, ni quien preguntase por ellas.

Go astray do My flock on all the mountains, And on every high hill, And on all the face of the land have My flock been scattered, And there is none inquiring, and none seeking.

7 P or tanto, pastores, oíd palabra de Jehová:

Therefore, shepherds, hear a word of Jehovah:

8 V ivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, que por cuanto mi rebaño fue expuesto al pillaje y a ser presa de todas las fieras del campo, sin pastor; y mis pastores no buscaron mis ovejas, sino que los pastores se apacentaron a sí mismos, y no apacentaron mis ovejas;

I live -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, If not, because of My flock being for a prey, Yea, My flock is for food to every beast of the field, Because there is no shepherd, And My shepherds have not sought My flock, And the shepherds do feed themselves, And My flock they have not fed.

9 p or tanto, oh pastores, oíd palabra de Jehová.

Therefore, O shepherds, hear a word of Jehovah:

10 A sí dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo estoy contra los pastores; y demandaré mis ovejas de su mano, y les haré dejar de apacentar las ovejas; y los pastores ya no se apacentarán más a sí mismos, pues yo libraré mis ovejas de sus bocas, para que no les sirvan más por comida.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I against the shepherds, And have required My flock from their hand, And caused them to cease from feeding the flock, And no more do the shepherds feed themselves, And I have delivered My flock from their mouth, And they are not to them for food.

11 P orque así dice el Señor Jehová: Aquí estoy yo; yo mismo iré a buscar mis ovejas, y las recogeré.

For thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I -- even I, have required My flock, And I have sought it out.

12 C omo recoge su rebaño el pastor el día que está en medio de sus ovejas esparcidas, así recogeré mis ovejas, y las libraré de todos los lugares en que fueron esparcidas el día del nublado y de la densa oscuridad.

As a shepherd's searching of his drove, In the day of his being in the midst of his scattered flock, so I do seek My flock, And have delivered them out of all places, Whither they have been scattered, In a day of cloud and thick darkness.

13 Y yo las sacaré de los pueblos, y las juntaré de las tierras; las traeré a su propia tierra, y las apacentaré en los montes de Israel, junto a los arroyos, y en todos los lugares habitables del país.

And brought them out from the peoples, And have gathered them from the lands, And brought them unto their own ground, And have fed them on mountains of Israel, By streams, and by all dwellings of the land.

14 L as apacentaré en buenos pastos, y en los altos montes de Israel estará su aprisco; allí dormirán en un buen redil, y serán apacentadas con pastos suculentos sobre los montes de Israel.

With good pasture I do feed them, And on mountains of the high place of Israel is their habitation, There do they lie down in a good habitation, And fat pastures they enjoy on mountains of Israel.

15 Y o apacentaré mis ovejas, y yo las haré reposar, dice el Señor Jehová.

I feed My flock, and cause them to lie down, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

16 Y o buscaré la perdida, y haré volver al redil la descarriada, vendaré la perniquebrada, y fortaleceré la débil; mas destruiré a la engordada y a la fuerte; las apacentaré con justicia.

The lost I seek, and the driven away bring back, And the broken I bind up, and the sick I strengthen, And the fat and the strong I destroy, I feed it with judgment.

17 Y en cuanto a vosotras, ovejas mías, así dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo juzgo entre oveja y oveja, entre carneros y machos cabríos.

And you, My flock, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am judging between sheep and sheep, Between rams and he-goats.

18 ¿ Os parece poco el haberos alimentado con lo mejor de los pastos, para que también pisoteéis con vuestros pies lo que queda de vuestros pastos; y que habiéndoos bebido las aguas claras, enturbiéis además con vuestros pies las que quedan?

Is it a little thing for you -- the good pasture ye enjoy, And the remnant of your pasture ye tread down with your feet, And a depth of waters ye do drink, And the remainder with your feet ye trample,

19 A sí que mis ovejas comen lo hollado de vuestros pies, y beben lo que con vuestros pies habéis enturbiado.

And My flock the trodden thing of your feet consumeth, And the trampled thing of your feet drinketh?

20 P or eso, así les dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo, sí, yo juzgaré entre la oveja engordada y la oveja flaca,

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah to them: Lo, I -- even I, have judged between fat sheep and lean sheep.

21 p or cuanto empujasteis con el costado y con el hombro, y acorneasteis con vuestros cuernos a todas las débiles, hasta que las echasteis y las dispersasteis.

Because with side and with shoulder ye thrust away, And with your horns push all the diseased, Till ye have scattered them to the out-place,

22 P or tanto, yo salvaré a mis ovejas, y nunca más servirán para el pillaje; y juzgaré entre oveja y oveja.

And I have given safety to My flock, And they are not any more for prey, And I have judged between sheep and sheep.

23 Y suscitaré para ponerlo al frente de ellas a un solo pastor, y él las apacentará; a mi siervo David, él las apacentará, y él les será por pastor.

And have raised up over them one shepherd, And he hath fed them -- my servant David, He doth feed them, and he is their shepherd,

24 Y yo Jehová les seré por Dios, y mi siervo David será príncipe en medio de ellos. Yo Jehová he hablado.

And I, Jehovah, I am their God, And My servant David prince in their midst, I, Jehovah, have spoken.

25 Y estableceré con ellos pacto de paz, y quitaré de la tierra las fieras; y habitarán en el desierto con seguridad, y dormirán en los bosques.

And I have made for them a covenant of peace, And caused evil beasts to cease out of the land, And they have dwelt in a wilderness confidently, And they have slept in forests.

26 Y haré de ellas y de los alrededores de mi collado una bendición, y haré descender la lluvia en su tiempo; lluvias de bendición serán.

And I have given them, and the suburbs of my hill, a blessing, And caused the shower to come down in its season, Showers of blessing they are.

27 Y el árbol del campo dará su fruto, y la tierra dará sus productos, y estarán sobre su tierra con seguridad; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando haya roto las coyundas de su yugo, y los libre de manos de los que los han tenido esclavizados.

And given hath the tree of the field its fruit, And the land doth give her increase, And they have been on their land confident, And they have known that I Jehovah, In My breaking the bands of their yoke, And I have delivered them from the hand of those laying service on them.

28 N o volverán a ser presa de las naciones, ni las devorarán las fieras de la tierra; sino que habitarán con seguridad, y no habrá quien las espante.

And they are no more a prey to nations, And the beast of the earth devoureth them not, And they have dwelt confidently, And there is none troubling.

29 Y levantaré para ellos un plantío de renombre, y nunca más serán consumidos de hambre en la tierra, ni serán jamás avergonzados por las naciones.

And I have raised for them a plant for renown, And they are no more consumed by hunger in the land, And they bear no more the shame of the nations.

30 Y sabrán que yo Jehová su Dios estoy con ellos, y ellos, la casa de Israel, son mi pueblo, dice el Señor Jehová.

And they have known that I, Jehovah, their God, with them, And they -- the house of Israel -- My people, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

31 Y vosotras, ovejas mías, ovejas de mi pasto, sois hombres, y yo soy vuestro Dios, dice el Señor Jehová.

And ye, My flock, the flock of My pasture, Men ye -- I your God, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
