1 І було мені слово Господнє таке:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

2 С ину людський, пророкуй на Ізраїлевих пастирів, пророкуй та й скажеш до них, до тих пастирів: Так говорить Господь Бог: Горе Ізраїлевим пастирям, які пасуть самих себе! Хіба ж не отару повинні пасти пастирі?

`Son of man, prophesy concerning shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and thou hast said unto them: To the shepherds, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Wo the shepherds of Israel, Who have been feeding themselves! The flock do not the shepherds feed?

3 Ж ир ви їсте, та вовну вдягаєте, ситу вівцю ріжете, але отари не пасете!

The fat ye do eat, and the wool ye put on, The fed one ye slaughter, the flock ye feed not.

4 С лабих не зміцняєте, а хворої не лікуєте, і пораненої не перев'язуєте, сполошеної не вертаєте, і загинулої не шукаєте, але пануєте над ними силою та жорстокістю!

The weak ye have not strengthened, And the sick one ye have not healed, And the broken ye have not bound up, And the driven away have not brought back, And the lost ye have not sought, And with might ye have ruled them and with rigour.

5 І порозпорошувалися вони з браку пастиря, і стали за їжу для всякої польової звірини, і порозбігалися...

And they are scattered from want of a shepherd, And are for food to every beast of the field, Yea, they are scattered.

6 Б лукає отара Моя по всіх горах та по всіх високих згір'ях, і по всій широкій землі розпорошена отара Моя, і немає нікого, хто турбувався б про них, і немає нікого, хто б їх шукав!...

Go astray do My flock on all the mountains, And on every high hill, And on all the face of the land have My flock been scattered, And there is none inquiring, and none seeking.

7 Т ому, пастирі, послухайте слова Господнього:

Therefore, shepherds, hear a word of Jehovah:

8 Я к живий Я, говорить Господь Бог, за те, що отара Моя полишена на здобич, і стала отара Моя за їжу для всякої польової звірини через брак пастиря, і пастирі Мої не шукають Моєї отари, а себе самих пасуть пастирі Мої, а отари Моєї не пасуть,

I live -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, If not, because of My flock being for a prey, Yea, My flock is for food to every beast of the field, Because there is no shepherd, And My shepherds have not sought My flock, And the shepherds do feed themselves, And My flock they have not fed.

9 т ому, пастирі, послухайте слова Господнього:

Therefore, O shepherds, hear a word of Jehovah:

10 Т ак говорить Господь Бог: Ось Я на тих пастирів, і зажадаю з їхньої руки отари Моєї, і відірву їх від пасіння отари, і ті пастирі не будуть уже пасти самих себе, й Я врятую Свою отару з їхніх уст, і вони не будуть їм за їжу.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I against the shepherds, And have required My flock from their hand, And caused them to cease from feeding the flock, And no more do the shepherds feed themselves, And I have delivered My flock from their mouth, And they are not to them for food.

11 Б о так Господь Бог промовляє: Ось Я Сам, і зажадаю отару Мою, і перегляну їх.

For thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I -- even I, have required My flock, And I have sought it out.

12 Я к пастух переглядає своє стадо того дня, коли він серед своєї розпорошеної отари, так Я перегляну отару Свою, і вирятую їх зо всіх тих місць, куди вони були розпорошені за хмарного та імлистого дня.

As a shepherd's searching of his drove, In the day of his being in the midst of his scattered flock, so I do seek My flock, And have delivered them out of all places, Whither they have been scattered, In a day of cloud and thick darkness.

13 І випроваджу їх від народів, і позбираю їх із країв, і приведу їх до їхньої землі, і буду їх пасти на Ізраїлевих горах, при річищах та по всіх оселях Краю.

And brought them out from the peoples, And have gathered them from the lands, And brought them unto their own ground, And have fed them on mountains of Israel, By streams, and by all dwellings of the land.

14 Н а пасовищі доброму пастиму їх, і на високих Ізраїлевих горах буде їхній випас, там вони будуть лежати на випасі доброму, і випасатимуть сите пасовище на Ізраїлевих горах!

With good pasture I do feed them, And on mountains of the high place of Israel is their habitation, There do they lie down in a good habitation, And fat pastures they enjoy on mountains of Israel.

15 Я буду пасти отару Свою, і Я їх покладу на спочинок, говорить Господь Бог.

I feed My flock, and cause them to lie down, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

16 З агинулу вівцю відшукаю, а сполошену поверну, а поранену перев'яжу, а хвору зміцню, а ситу та сильну погублю, буду пасти її правосуддям!

The lost I seek, and the driven away bring back, And the broken I bind up, and the sick I strengthen, And the fat and the strong I destroy, I feed it with judgment.

17 А ви, отаро Моя, так говорить Господь Бог: Ось Я буду судити між вівцею й вівцею, між бараном і козлами.

And you, My flock, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am judging between sheep and sheep, Between rams and he-goats.

18 Ч и мало вам того, що ви спасуєте хороше пасовище, а решту ваших пасовищ ви топчете своїми ногами? І воду чисту ви п'єте, а позосталу ногами своїми каламутите?

Is it a little thing for you -- the good pasture ye enjoy, And the remnant of your pasture ye tread down with your feet, And a depth of waters ye do drink, And the remainder with your feet ye trample,

19 І отара Моя мусить випасати потоптане вашими ногами, і пити скаламучене вашими ногами!

And My flock the trodden thing of your feet consumeth, And the trampled thing of your feet drinketh?

20 Т ому так Господь Бог промовляє до них: Ось Я Сам і розсуджу між вівцею ситою й між вівцею худою.

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah to them: Lo, I -- even I, have judged between fat sheep and lean sheep.

21 З а те, що ви боком і раменом попихаєте, і рогами вашими колете всіх слабих, аж поки не порозпорошуєте їх геть,

Because with side and with shoulder ye thrust away, And with your horns push all the diseased, Till ye have scattered them to the out-place,

22 т о Я спасу отару Свою, і вона не буде вже за здобич, і Я розсуджу між вівцею та вівцею!

And I have given safety to My flock, And they are not any more for prey, And I have judged between sheep and sheep.

23 І поставлю над ними одного пастиря, і він буде їх пасти, раба Мого Давида, він їх буде пасти, і він їм буде за пастиря!

And have raised up over them one shepherd, And he hath fed them -- my servant David, He doth feed them, and he is their shepherd,

24 А Я, Господь, буду їм Богом, а раб Мій Давид князем серед них. Я, Господь, це сказав!

And I, Jehovah, I am their God, And My servant David prince in their midst, I, Jehovah, have spoken.

25 І складу Я з ними заповіта миру, і прикінчу на землі злу звірину, і вони пробуватимуть в пустині безпечно, і будуть спати по лісах.

And I have made for them a covenant of peace, And caused evil beasts to cease out of the land, And they have dwelt in a wilderness confidently, And they have slept in forests.

26 І вчиню їх та довкілля Мого взгір'я благословенням, і спущу дощ в його часі, будуть це дощі благословенні.

And I have given them, and the suburbs of my hill, a blessing, And caused the shower to come down in its season, Showers of blessing they are.

27 І польове дерево видасть свій плід, а земля видасть свій урожай, і будуть вони безпечні на своїй землі, і пізнають, що Я Господь, коли зламаю занози їхнього ярма, і врятую їх від руки тих, хто їх поневолив.

And given hath the tree of the field its fruit, And the land doth give her increase, And they have been on their land confident, And they have known that I Jehovah, In My breaking the bands of their yoke, And I have delivered them from the hand of those laying service on them.

28 І не будуть уже вони за здобич для народів, і звірина земна не жертиме їх, і будуть вони сидіти безпечно, і не буде нікого, хто б їх настрашив.

And they are no more a prey to nations, And the beast of the earth devoureth them not, And they have dwelt confidently, And there is none troubling.

29 І викохаю їм саджанця на славу, і не будуть вони вже забрані голодом із землі, і не понесуть уже ганьби народів.

And I have raised for them a plant for renown, And they are no more consumed by hunger in the land, And they bear no more the shame of the nations.

30 І пізнають вони, що Я Господь, Бог їхній, з ними, а вони народ Мій, дім Ізраїлів, говорить Господь Бог.

And they have known that I, Jehovah, their God, with them, And they -- the house of Israel -- My people, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

31 А ви отара Моя, отара Мого випасу, ви люди, а Я Бог ваш, говорить Господь Бог.

And ye, My flock, the flock of My pasture, Men ye -- I your God, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
