1 І показав Він мені Ісуса, великого священика, що стояв перед лицем Господнього Ангола, а сатана стояв по правиці його, щоб противитися йому.

And he sheweth me Joshua the high priest standing before the messenger of Jehovah, and the Adversary standing at his right hand, to be an adversary to him.

2 І сказав Господь сатані: Господь буде картати тебе, сатано, і буде картати тебе Господь, Який вибрав Собі Єрусалима! Чи ж він не головешка, що вціліла від огню?

And Jehovah saith unto the Adversary: `Jehovah doth push against thee, O Adversary, Yea, push against thee doth Jehovah, Who is fixing on Jerusalem, Is not this a brand delivered from fire?'

3 А Ісус одягнений був у брудну одежу, і стояв перед лицем Ангола.

And Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and is standing before the messenger.

4 І він заговорив та й сказав до тих, що стояли перед його лицем, говорячи: Здійміть з нього цю брудну одежу! І сказав він йому: Я зняв з тебе провину твою, і зодягну тебе в шати коштовні.

And he answereth and speaketh unto those standing before him, saying: `Turn aside the filthy garments from off him.' And he saith unto him, `See, I have caused thine iniquity to pass away from off thee, so as to clothe thee with costly apparel.'

5 І він сказав: Нехай покладуть чистого завоя на його голову! І поклали чистого завоя на його голову, і зодягли його в шати, а Ангол Господній стояв.

He also said, `Let them set a pure diadem on his head. And they set the pure diadem on his head, and clothe him with garments. And the messenger of Jehovah is standing,

6 І освідчив Ангол Господній Ісусові, промовляючи:

and the messenger of Jehovah doth protest to Joshua, saying:

7 Т ак говорить Господь Саваот: Якщо ти будеш ходити Моїми дорогами, і якщо стерегтимеш сторожу Мою, тоді й ти будеш судити Мій дім, і також будеш стерегти Мої подвір'я, і дам тобі ходити поміж тими, що стоять тут.

`Thus said Jehovah of Hosts: If in My ways thou dost walk, And if My charge thou dost keep, Then also thou dost judge My house, And also thou dost keep My courts, And I have given to thee conductors among these standing by.

8 П ослухай но, Ісусе, великий священику, ти та ближні твої, що сидять перед тобою, бо вони мужі знаменні, бо ось Я приведу Свого раба Пагінця.

Hear, I pray thee, Joshua, the high priest, Thou and thy companions sitting before thee, (For men of type they,) For lo, I am bringing in My servant -- a Shoot.

9 Б о оце той камінь, що його Я поклав перед Ісусом. На одному камені сім очей. Ось Я вирізьблю на ньому різьбу його, говорить Господь Саваот, і відкину вину цієї землі за один день.

For lo, the stone that I put before Joshua, On one stone seven eyes, Lo, I am graving its graving, An affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts, And I have removed the iniquity of that land in one day.

10 Т ого дня, говорить Господь Саваот, ви будете кликати один одного під виноград і під фіґове дерево.

In that day -- an affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts, Ye do call, each unto his neighbour, Unto the place of the vine, And unto the place of the fig-tree!'
