1 І принесли вони Божого ковчега, і поставили його в середині скинії, що розтягнув для нього Давид, і принесли цілопалення та мирні жертви перед Божим лицем.

And they bring in the ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David hath stretched out for it, and they bring near burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God;

2 І покінчив Давид приносити цілопалення та мирні жертви, та й поблагословив народ Ім'ям Господнім.

and David ceaseth from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesseth the people in the name of Jehovah,

3 І він поділив для всякого Ізраїлевого мужа, від чоловіка й аж до жінки, кожному по буханцеві хліба, і по кавалкові м'яса та по виноградному калачеві.

and giveth a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.

4 І він попризначував перед Господнім ковчегом із Левитів служачих, щоб вони визнавали, і прославляли, і хвалили Господа, Бога Ізраїлевого:

And he putteth before the ark of Jehovah, of the Levites, ministers, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to Jehovah, God of Israel,

5 А саф був головою, а другий по ньому Захарій, Єіїл, і Шемірамот, і Хіїл, і Маттітія, і Еліяв, і Беная, і Овед-Едом, і Єіїл на знаряддях цитр та на арфах, а Асаф голосно грав на цимбалах.

Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals is sounding;

6 А священики Беная та Яхазіїл на сурмах, завжди перед ковчегом Божого заповіту.

and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

7 Т ого дня, тоді Давид дав уперше псалма на подяку Господеві через Асафа та братів його:

On that day then hath David given at the beginning to give thanks to Jehovah by the hand of Asaph and his brethren: --

8 Д якуйте Господу, кличте Ім'я Його, серед народів звіщайте про вчинки Його!

Give thanks to Jehovah, call in His name, Make known among the peoples His doings.

9 С півайте Йому, грайте Йому, говоріть про всі чуда Його!

Sing ye to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.

10 Х валіться святим Його Йменням, хай тішиться серце шукаючих Господа!

Boast yourselves in His holy name, Rejoice doth the heart of those seeking Jehovah.

11 П ошукуйте Господа й силу Його, лице Його завжди шукайте!

Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek His face continually.

12 П ам'ятайте про чуда Його, які Він учинив, про ознаки Його та про присуди уст Його

Remember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,

13 в и, насіння Ізраїля, раба Його, сини Яковові, вибранці Його!

O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!

14 В ін Господь, Бог наш, по цілій землі Його присуди!

He Jehovah our God, In all the earth His judgments.

15 П ам'ятайте навіки Його заповіта, слово, яке наказав Він на тисячу родів,

Remember ye to the age His covenant, The word He commanded -- To a thousand generations,

16 щ о склав Він Його з Авраамом, і присягу Його для Ісака.

Which He hath made with Abraham, And His oath -- to Isaac,

17 І Він поставив його за Закона для Якова, Ізраїлеві заповітом навіки,

And He establisheth it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel -- a covenant age-during.

18 г оворячи: Дам тобі край ханаанський, як наділ спадщини для вас!

Saying: To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,

19 Т оді їх було невелике число, нечисленні були та приходьки на іншій землі,

When ye are few of number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.

20 і від народу ходили вони до народу, і від царства до іншого люду.

And they go up and down, From nation unto nation, And from a kingdom unto another people.

21 Н е дозволив нікому Він кривдити їх, і за них Він царям докоряв:

He hath not suffered any to oppress them, And reproveth on their account kings:

22 Н е доторкуйтеся до Моїх помазанців, а пророкам Моїм не робіте лихого!

Come not against Mine anointed ones, And against My prophets do not evil.

23 Г осподеві співайте, вся земле, з дня-на-день сповіщайте спасіння Його!

Sing to Jehovah, all the earth, Proclaim from day unto day His salvation.

24 Р озповідайте про славу Його між поганами, про чуда Його між усіма народами.

Rehearse among nations His glory, Among all the peoples His wonders.

25 Б о великий Господь і прославлений вельми, і Він найгрізніший над богів усіх!

For great Jehovah, and praised greatly, And fearful He above all gods.

26 Б о всі боги народів божки, а Господь небеса сотворив!

For all gods of the peoples nought, And Jehovah the heavens hath made.

27 С лава та велич перед лицем Його, сила та радість на місці Його.

Honour and majesty before Him, Strength and joy in His place.

28 Д айте Господу, роди народів, дайте Господу славу та силу,

Ascribe to Jehovah, ye families of peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.

29 д айте Господу славу Ймення Його, приносьте дарунка й приходьте перед лице Його! Кланяйтеся Господеві в величчі святому!

Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.

30 П еред лицем Його затремти, уся земле, бо міцно поставлений всесвіт, щоб не захитався!

Be pained before Him, all the earth:

31 Х ай небо радіє, і хай веселиться земля, і хай серед народів говорять: Царює Господь!

Also, established is the world, It is not moved! The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations: Jehovah hath reigned.

32 Н ехай гримить море й його повнота, нехай поле радіє та все, що на ньому!

Roar doth the sea, and its fulness, Exult doth the field, and all that in it,

33 Т оді перед Господнім лицем дерева лісні заспівають, бо землю судити йде Він.

Then sing do trees of the forest, From the presence of Jehovah, For He hath come to judge the earth!

34 Д якуйте Господу, добрий бо Він, бо навіки Його милосердя!

Give thanks to Jehovah, for good, For to the age, His kindness,

35 І промовте: Спаси нас, о Боже спасіння нашого, і збери нас, і нас урятуй від народів, щоб дякувати Йменню святому Твоєму, щоб Твоєю хвалитися славою!

And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Thy holy name, To triumph in Thy praise.

36 Б лагословенний Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, від віку й навіки! А народ увесь сказав: Амінь і Хвала Господеві!

Blessed Jehovah, God of Israel, From the age and unto the age;' And all the people say, `Amen,' and have given praise to Jehovah.

37 І Давид позоставив там перед ковчегом Господнього заповіту Асафа та братів його, щоб завжди служили перед ковчегом, що в якій день треба було,

And he leaveth there before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, for Asaph and for his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day,

38 і Овед-Едома та братів його, шістдесят і вісьмох; а Овед-Едома, Єдутунового сина, та Хоса за придверних;

both Obed-Edom and their brethren, sixty and eight, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah for gatekeepers,

39 а священика Садока та братів його священиків перед Господнім наметом на пагірку, що в Ґів'оні,

and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah, in a high place that in Gibeon,

40 щ об приносити цілопалення для Господа на жертівнику цілопалення, завжди ранком та ввечорі, та на все інше, що написане в Законі Господа, що наказав був Ізраїлеві.

to cause to ascend burnt-offerings to Jehovah, on the altar of burnt-offering continually, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the law of Jehovah, that He charged on Israel.

41 А з ними Геман та Єдутун, та решта вибраних, що були докладно зазначені поіменно, щоб Дякувати Господеві, бо навіки Його милосердя!

And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, for to the age His kindness,

42 А з ними сурми та цимбали для тих, що грають, та знаряддя для Божої пісні. А сини Єдутунові сторожі до брами.

and with them -- Heman and Jeduthun -- trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun at the gate.

43 І порозходився ввесь народ, кожен до дому свого. А Давид вернувся, щоб поблагословити свій дім.

And all the people go, each to his house, and David turneth round to bless his house.
