1 A nd they bring in the ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David hath stretched out for it, and they bring near burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God;

І принесли вони Божого ковчега, і поставили його в середині скинії, що розтягнув для нього Давид, і принесли цілопалення та мирні жертви перед Божим лицем.

2 a nd David ceaseth from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesseth the people in the name of Jehovah,

І покінчив Давид приносити цілопалення та мирні жертви, та й поблагословив народ Ім'ям Господнім.

3 a nd giveth a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.

І він поділив для всякого Ізраїлевого мужа, від чоловіка й аж до жінки, кожному по буханцеві хліба, і по кавалкові м'яса та по виноградному калачеві.

4 A nd he putteth before the ark of Jehovah, of the Levites, ministers, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to Jehovah, God of Israel,

І він попризначував перед Господнім ковчегом із Левитів служачих, щоб вони визнавали, і прославляли, і хвалили Господа, Бога Ізраїлевого:

5 A saph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals is sounding;

Асаф був головою, а другий по ньому Захарій, Єіїл, і Шемірамот, і Хіїл, і Маттітія, і Еліяв, і Беная, і Овед-Едом, і Єіїл на знаряддях цитр та на арфах, а Асаф голосно грав на цимбалах.

6 a nd Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

А священики Беная та Яхазіїл на сурмах, завжди перед ковчегом Божого заповіту.

7 O n that day then hath David given at the beginning to give thanks to Jehovah by the hand of Asaph and his brethren: --

Того дня, тоді Давид дав уперше псалма на подяку Господеві через Асафа та братів його:

8 G ive thanks to Jehovah, call in His name, Make known among the peoples His doings.

Дякуйте Господу, кличте Ім'я Його, серед народів звіщайте про вчинки Його!

9 S ing ye to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.

Співайте Йому, грайте Йому, говоріть про всі чуда Його!

10 B oast yourselves in His holy name, Rejoice doth the heart of those seeking Jehovah.

Хваліться святим Його Йменням, хай тішиться серце шукаючих Господа!

11 S eek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek His face continually.

Пошукуйте Господа й силу Його, лице Його завжди шукайте!

12 R emember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,

Пам'ятайте про чуда Його, які Він учинив, про ознаки Його та про присуди уст Його

13 O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!

ви, насіння Ізраїля, раба Його, сини Яковові, вибранці Його!

14 H e Jehovah our God, In all the earth His judgments.

Він Господь, Бог наш, по цілій землі Його присуди!

15 R emember ye to the age His covenant, The word He commanded -- To a thousand generations,

Пам'ятайте навіки Його заповіта, слово, яке наказав Він на тисячу родів,

16 W hich He hath made with Abraham, And His oath -- to Isaac,

що склав Він Його з Авраамом, і присягу Його для Ісака.

17 A nd He establisheth it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel -- a covenant age-during.

І Він поставив його за Закона для Якова, Ізраїлеві заповітом навіки,

18 S aying: To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,

говорячи: Дам тобі край ханаанський, як наділ спадщини для вас!

19 W hen ye are few of number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.

Тоді їх було невелике число, нечисленні були та приходьки на іншій землі,

20 A nd they go up and down, From nation unto nation, And from a kingdom unto another people.

і від народу ходили вони до народу, і від царства до іншого люду.

21 H e hath not suffered any to oppress them, And reproveth on their account kings:

Не дозволив нікому Він кривдити їх, і за них Він царям докоряв:

22 C ome not against Mine anointed ones, And against My prophets do not evil.

Не доторкуйтеся до Моїх помазанців, а пророкам Моїм не робіте лихого!

23 S ing to Jehovah, all the earth, Proclaim from day unto day His salvation.

Господеві співайте, вся земле, з дня-на-день сповіщайте спасіння Його!

24 R ehearse among nations His glory, Among all the peoples His wonders.

Розповідайте про славу Його між поганами, про чуда Його між усіма народами.

25 F or great Jehovah, and praised greatly, And fearful He above all gods.

Бо великий Господь і прославлений вельми, і Він найгрізніший над богів усіх!

26 F or all gods of the peoples nought, And Jehovah the heavens hath made.

Бо всі боги народів божки, а Господь небеса сотворив!

27 H onour and majesty before Him, Strength and joy in His place.

Слава та велич перед лицем Його, сила та радість на місці Його.

28 A scribe to Jehovah, ye families of peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.

Дайте Господу, роди народів, дайте Господу славу та силу,

29 A scribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.

дайте Господу славу Ймення Його, приносьте дарунка й приходьте перед лице Його! Кланяйтеся Господеві в величчі святому!

30 B e pained before Him, all the earth:

Перед лицем Його затремти, уся земле, бо міцно поставлений всесвіт, щоб не захитався!

31 A lso, established is the world, It is not moved! The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations: Jehovah hath reigned.

Хай небо радіє, і хай веселиться земля, і хай серед народів говорять: Царює Господь!

32 R oar doth the sea, and its fulness, Exult doth the field, and all that in it,

Нехай гримить море й його повнота, нехай поле радіє та все, що на ньому!

33 T hen sing do trees of the forest, From the presence of Jehovah, For He hath come to judge the earth!

Тоді перед Господнім лицем дерева лісні заспівають, бо землю судити йде Він.

34 G ive thanks to Jehovah, for good, For to the age, His kindness,

Дякуйте Господу, добрий бо Він, бо навіки Його милосердя!

35 A nd say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Thy holy name, To triumph in Thy praise.

І промовте: Спаси нас, о Боже спасіння нашого, і збери нас, і нас урятуй від народів, щоб дякувати Йменню святому Твоєму, щоб Твоєю хвалитися славою!

36 B lessed Jehovah, God of Israel, From the age and unto the age;' And all the people say, `Amen,' and have given praise to Jehovah.

Благословенний Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, від віку й навіки! А народ увесь сказав: Амінь і Хвала Господеві!

37 A nd he leaveth there before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, for Asaph and for his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day,

І Давид позоставив там перед ковчегом Господнього заповіту Асафа та братів його, щоб завжди служили перед ковчегом, що в якій день треба було,

38 b oth Obed-Edom and their brethren, sixty and eight, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah for gatekeepers,

і Овед-Едома та братів його, шістдесят і вісьмох; а Овед-Едома, Єдутунового сина, та Хоса за придверних;

39 a nd Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah, in a high place that in Gibeon,

а священика Садока та братів його священиків перед Господнім наметом на пагірку, що в Ґів'оні,

40 t o cause to ascend burnt-offerings to Jehovah, on the altar of burnt-offering continually, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the law of Jehovah, that He charged on Israel.

щоб приносити цілопалення для Господа на жертівнику цілопалення, завжди ранком та ввечорі, та на все інше, що написане в Законі Господа, що наказав був Ізраїлеві.

41 A nd with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, for to the age His kindness,

А з ними Геман та Єдутун, та решта вибраних, що були докладно зазначені поіменно, щоб Дякувати Господеві, бо навіки Його милосердя!

42 a nd with them -- Heman and Jeduthun -- trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun at the gate.

А з ними сурми та цимбали для тих, що грають, та знаряддя для Божої пісні. А сини Єдутунові сторожі до брами.

43 A nd all the people go, each to his house, and David turneth round to bless his house.

І порозходився ввесь народ, кожен до дому свого. А Давид вернувся, щоб поблагословити свій дім.
