1 A nd Jehovah calleth unto Moses, and speaketh unto him out of the tent of meeting, saying,

І кликнув Господь до Мойсея, і промовляв до нього з скинії заповіту, говорячи:

2 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Any man of you when he doth bring near an offering to Jehovah, out of the cattle -- out of the herd, or out of the flock -- ye do bring near your offering.

Промовляй до Ізраїлевих синів та й скажеш до них: Коли хто з вас принесе жертву для Господа зо скотини, то з худоби великої й худоби дрібної принесете вашу жертву.

3 ` If his offering a burnt-offering out of the herd -- a male, a perfect one, he doth bring near, unto the opening of the tent of meeting he doth bring it near, at his pleasure, before Jehovah;

Якщо жертва його цілопалення з худоби великої, то нехай принесе його, самця безвадного; нехай приведе його до скинії заповіту, щоб він був уподобаний перед лицем Господнім.

4 a nd he hath laid his hand on the head of the burnt-offering, and it hath been accepted for him to make atonement for him;

І покладе він руку свою на голову цілопалення, і буде йому дано вподобання на очищення від гріхів його.

5 a nd he hath slaughtered the son of the herd before Jehovah; and sons of Aaron, the priests, have brought the blood near, and sprinkled the blood on the altar round about, which at the opening of the tent of meeting.

І заріже він ягня перед Господнім лицем. А Ааронові сини, священики, принесуть кров, і покроплять тією кров'ю на жертівника навколо, що при вході до скинії заповіту.

6 ` And he hath stripped the burnt-offering, and hath cut it into its pieces;

І здере він шкуру з жертви цілопалення, і розітне його на куски його.

7 a nd the sons of Aaron the priest have put fire on the altar, and arranged wood on the fire;

І дадуть сини священика Аарона огню на жертівника, і покладуть дров на тім огні.

8 a nd sons of Aaron, the priests, have arranged the pieces, with the head and the fat, on the wood, which on the fire, which on the altar;

І порозкладають Ааронові сини, священики, ті куски, голову та товщ, на дровах, що на огні, який на жертівнику.

9 a nd its inwards and its legs he doth wash with water; and the priest hath made perfume with the whole on the altar, a burnt-offering, a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah.

А його нутрощі та голінки його обмиє водою. І священик усе те спалить на жертівнику, це цілопалення, огняна жертва, пахощі любі для Господа.

10 ` And if his offering out of the flock -- out of the sheep or out of the goats -- for a burnt-offering, a male, a perfect one, he doth bring near,

А якщо його жертва з дрібної худобини, з овець або з кіз на цілопалення, то нехай приведе його, безвадного самця,

11 a nd he hath slaughtered it by the side of the altar northward, before Jehovah; and sons of Aaron, the priests, have sprinkled its blood on the altar round about;

і заріже його на боці жертівника на північ, перед Господнім лицем. І покроплять сини Ааронові, священики, кров'ю його на жертівника навколо.

12 a nd he hath cut it into its pieces, and its head and its fat, and the priest hath arranged them on the wood, which on the fire, which on the altar;

І розітне його на куски його, голову його, і товщ його, а священик порозкладає їх на дровах, що на огні, який на жертівнику.

13 a nd the inwards and the legs he doth wash with water, and the priest hath brought the whole near, and hath made perfume on the altar; it a burnt-offering, a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah.

А нутрощі та голінки обмиє водою. І священик принесе все це, та й спалить на жертівнику, це цілопалення, огняна жертва, пахощі любі для Господа.

14 ` And if his offering a burnt-offering out of the fowl to Jehovah, than he hath brought near his offering out of the turtle-doves or out of the young pigeons,

А якщо цілопалення його жертва для Господа з птаства, то нехай з горлиць або з голубенят принесе жертву свою.

15 a nd the priest hath brought it near unto the altar, and hath wrung off its head, and hath made perfume on the altar, and its blood hath been wrung out by the side of the altar;

І принесе її священик до жертівника, і проб'є йому нігтем великим голову, та й спалить на жертівнику, а кров його буде вилита при стіні жертівника.

16 a nd he hath turned aside its crop with its feathers, and hath cast it near the altar, eastward, unto the place of ashes;

І здійме його воло в пір'ї його, і кине його при жертівнику на схід на місце попелу.

17 a nd he hath cleaved it with its wings (he doth not separate ), and the priest hath made it a perfume on the altar, on the wood, which on the fire; it a burnt-offering, a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah.

І роздере його між крильми його, але не відділить їх. А священик спалить його на жертівнику на дровах, що на огні, воно цілопалення, огняна жертва, пахощі любі для Господа.
