1 A nd all the company of the sons of Israel are assembled Shiloh, and they cause the tent of meeting to tabernacle there, and the land hath been subdued before them.

І була зібрана вся громада Ізраїлевих синів до Шіло, і вони помістили там скинію заповіту, а перед ними був здобутий Край.

2 A nd there are left among the sons of Israel who have not shared their inheritance, seven tribes,

І позоставалося серед Ізраїлевих синів сім племен, що не поділили ще спадку свого.

3 a nd Joshua saith unto the sons of Israel, `Till when are ye remiss to go in to possess the land which He hath given to you, Jehovah, God of your fathers?

І сказав Ісус до Ізраїлевих синів: Аж доки ви будете лінуватися піти посісти той Край, що дав вам Господь, Бог ваших батьків?

4 G ive for you three men for a tribe, and I send them, and they rise and go up and down through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and come in unto me,

Дайте від себе по три мужі на плем'я, і я пошлю їх. І вони встануть, і будуть ходити по Краю, і опишуть його за їхнім спадком, та й прийдуть до мене.

5 a nd they have divided it into seven portions -- Judah doth stay by its border on the south, and the house of Joseph do stay by their border on the north --

І вони поділять його собі на сім частин. Юда стане на своїй границі з півдня, а Йосипів дім стане на своїй границі з півночі.

6 a nd ye describe the land seven portions, and have brought in unto me hither, and I have cast for you a lot here before Jehovah our God;

А ви опишете той Край, сім частин, і принесете описа мені сюди, а я кину вам жеребка тут перед лицем Господа, Бога нашого.

7 f or there is no portion to the Levites in your midst, for the priesthood of Jehovah their inheritance, and Gad, and Reuben, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses servant of Jehovah gave to them.'

А Левитам нема частки поміж вами, бо священнодіяння Господнє спадщина його. А Ґад, і Рувим, та половина Манасіїного племени взяли свій спадок по той бік Йордану на схід, що дав їм Мойсей, раб Господній.

8 A nd the men rise and go; and Joshua commandeth those who are going to describe the land, saying, `Go, and walk up and down through the land, and describe it, and turn back unto me, and here I cast for you a lot before Jehovah in Shiloh.'

І встали ті мужі й пішли. А Ісус наказав тим, що пішли описувати Край, говорячи: Ідіть і походіть по Краю, і опишіть його, та й вертайтеся до мене. А я кину вам жеребка тут перед Господнім лицем у Шіло.

9 A nd the men go, and pass over through the land, and describe it by cities, in seven portions, on a book, and they come in unto Joshua, unto the camp, Shiloh.

І пішли ті мужі, і перейшли по Краю, та й описали його за містами на сім частин у книжці. І прийшли вони до Ісуса до табору в Шіло.

10 A nd Joshua casteth for them a lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, and there Joshua apportioneth the land to the sons of Israel, according to their divisions.

І кинув їм Ісус жеребка в Шіло перед Господнім лицем. І поділив там Ісус Край для Ізраїлевих синів за їхніми поділами.

11 A nd a lot goeth up the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families; and the border of their lot goeth out between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.

І вийшов жеребок для племени Веніяминових синів за їхніми родами, і вийшла границя їхнього жеребка між синами Юдиними та між синами Йосиповими.

12 A nd the border is to them at the north side from the Jordan, and the border hath gone up unto the side of Jericho on the north, and gone up through the hill-country westward, and its outgoings have been at the wilderness of Beth-Aven;

І була їм границя на північну сторону від Йордану. І підіймається та границя до краю Єрихону з півночі, і підіймається на гору на захід, і закінчується при пустині Бет-Евен.

13 a nd the border hath gone over thence to Luz, unto the side of Luz (it Beth-El) southward, and the border hath gone down Atroth-Addar, by the hill that on the south of the lower Beth-Horon;

А звідти переходить та границя до Лузу, до краю Лузу на південь, це Бет-Ел. І сходить та границя до Атрот-Аддару на гору, що з півдня до долішнього Бет-Хорону.

14 a nd the border hath been marked out, and hath gone round to the corner of the sea southward, from the hill which at the front of Beth-Horon southward, and its outgoings have been unto Kirjath-Baal (it Kirjath-Jearim), a city of the sons of Judah: this the west quarter.

І тягнеться та границя, і повертається на західній бік, на південь від гори, що навпроти Бет-Хорону на південь, і закінчується при Кір'ят-Баалі, це Кір'ят-Єарім, місті Юдиних синів. Це західня сторона.

15 A nd the south quarter from the end of Kirjath-Jearim, and the border hath gone out westward, and gone out unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah;

А південна сторона від кінця Кір'ят-Єаріму. І виходить та границя на захід, і виходить до джерела Ме-Нефтоаху.

16 a nd the border hath come down unto the extremity of the hill which on the front of the valley of the son of Hinnom, which in the valley of the Rephaim northward, and hath gone down the valley of Hinnom unto the side of Jebusi southward, and gone down En-Rogel,

І сходить та границя до кінця гори, що навпроти Ґе-Бен-Гіннома, що в долині Рефаїм на північ. І сходить Ґе-Гінном побіч євусеянина на південь, і сходить до Ен-Роґелу,

17 a nd hath been marked out on the north, and gone out to En-Shemesh, and gone out unto Geliloth, which over-against the ascent of Adummim, and gone down the stone of Bohan son of Reuben,

і тягнеться вона з півночі, і виходить до Ен-Шемешу, і виходить до Ґелілоту, що навпроти Маале-Адуммім. І сходить вона до Евен-Боган-Бен-Реувену.

18 a nd passed over unto the side over-against Arabah northward, and gone down to Arabah;

І переходить побіч навпроти Арави на північ, та й сходить до Арави.

19 a nd the border hath passed over unto the side of Beth-Hoglah northward, and the outgoings of the border have been unto the north bay of the salt sea, unto the south extremity of the Jordan; this the south border;

І переходить та границя побіч Бет-Хоґли на північ, і закінчується границя при затоці Солоного моря на північ, до кінця Йордану з півдня. Це границя південна.

20 a nd the Jordan doth border it at the east quarter; this the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, by its borders round about, for their families.

А Йордан граничить його зо східньої сторони. Це спадок Веніяминових синів за границями його навколо, за родами його.

21 A nd the cities for the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families, have been Jericho, and Beth-Hoglah, and the valley of Keziz,

І були міста для племени Веніяминових синів за їхніми родами: Єрихон, і Бет-Хоґла, і Емек-Кеціц,

22 a nd Beth-Arabah, Zemaraim, and Beth-El,

і Бет-Гаарава, і Цемараїм, і Бет-Ел,

23 a nd Avim, and Parah, and Ophrah,

і Аввім, і Пара, і Офра,

24 a nd Chephar-Haammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities and their villages.

і Кефар-Гааммоні, і Офні, і Ґева, дванадцять міст та їхні оселі.

25 G ibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,

Ґів'он, і Рама, і Беерот,

26 a nd Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,

і Міцпе, і Кефіра, і Моца,

27 a nd Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,

і Рекем, і Їрпеїл, і Пар'ала,

28 a nd Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi (it Jerusalem), Gibeath, Kirjath: fourteen cities and their villages. This the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, for their families.

і Цела, Елеф, і Євусі, воно Єрусалим, Ґів'ат, Кір'ят-Єарім, чотирнадцять міст та їхні оселі. Це спадок Веніяминових синів за їхніми родами.
