1 A nd all the company of the sons of Israel are assembled Shiloh, and they cause the tent of meeting to tabernacle there, and the land hath been subdued before them.

Все общество израильтян собралось в Шило и поставило там шатер собрания. Страна была покорена ими,

2 A nd there are left among the sons of Israel who have not shared their inheritance, seven tribes,

но семь израильских родов еще не получили своего удела.

3 a nd Joshua saith unto the sons of Israel, `Till when are ye remiss to go in to possess the land which He hath given to you, Jehovah, God of your fathers?

Иисус сказал израильтянам: – Сколько вы еще будете ждать, прежде чем пойдете и возьмете в удел землю, которую дал вам Господь, Бог ваших отцов?

4 G ive for you three men for a tribe, and I send them, and they rise and go up and down through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and come in unto me,

Отрядите по три человека из каждого рода. Я отправлю их, чтобы они прошли по земле, описали ее по уделам каждого и вернулись ко мне.

5 a nd they have divided it into seven portions -- Judah doth stay by its border on the south, and the house of Joseph do stay by their border on the north --

Разделите землю на семь частей. Иуда пусть останется в своей земле на юге, а дом Иосифа в своей земле на севере.

6 a nd ye describe the land seven portions, and have brought in unto me hither, and I have cast for you a lot here before Jehovah our God;

Сделав описания семи частей земли, принесите их сюда ко мне, и я брошу о вас жребий перед Господом, нашим Богом.

7 f or there is no portion to the Levites in your midst, for the priesthood of Jehovah their inheritance, and Gad, and Reuben, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses servant of Jehovah gave to them.'

Но левиты не получат надела между вами, потому что их удел – священническая служба Господа. А Гад, Рувим и половина рода Манассии уже получили свои наделы на восточной стороне Иордана. Им дал его Моисей, слуга Господа.

8 A nd the men rise and go; and Joshua commandeth those who are going to describe the land, saying, `Go, and walk up and down through the land, and describe it, and turn back unto me, and here I cast for you a lot before Jehovah in Shiloh.'

Когда те люди тронулись в путь, чтобы описать землю, Иисус велел им: – Ступайте, пройдите по земле и опишите ее. Потом возвращайтесь ко мне, и я брошу о вас жребий здесь, в Шило, перед Господом.

9 A nd the men go, and pass over through the land, and describe it by cities, in seven portions, on a book, and they come in unto Joshua, unto the camp, Shiloh.

И те люди пошли, прошли по земле, описали ее по городам в семи частях в свитке и вернулись к Иисусу в лагерь в Шило.

10 A nd Joshua casteth for them a lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, and there Joshua apportioneth the land to the sons of Israel, according to their divisions.

И Иисус бросил о них жребий в Шило перед Господом и распределил израильтянам землю по их родовым разделениям. Надел Вениамина

11 A nd a lot goeth up the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families; and the border of their lot goeth out between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.

Выпал жребий рода Вениамина по их кланам. Доставшаяся им земля лежала между наделами родов Иуды и Иосифа:

12 A nd the border is to them at the north side from the Jordan, and the border hath gone up unto the side of Jericho on the north, and gone up through the hill-country westward, and its outgoings have been at the wilderness of Beth-Aven;

на севере их граница шла от Иордана по склону к северу от Иерихона и поднималась в нагорья, доходя до пустыни Бет-Авен.

13 a nd the border hath gone over thence to Luz, unto the side of Luz (it Beth-El) southward, and the border hath gone down Atroth-Addar, by the hill that on the south of the lower Beth-Horon;

Оттуда она шла к склону на юге от Луза (то есть Вефиля) и спускалась к Атарот-Аддару и к горе, что к югу от Нижнего Бет-Хорона.

14 a nd the border hath been marked out, and hath gone round to the corner of the sea southward, from the hill which at the front of Beth-Horon southward, and its outgoings have been unto Kirjath-Baal (it Kirjath-Jearim), a city of the sons of Judah: this the west quarter.

От холма, что напротив Бет-Хорона, на юге граница поворачивала к югу по западной стороне надела и заканчивалась у Кирьят-Баала (то есть Кирьят-Иеарима), города народа Иуды. Это была западная граница.

15 A nd the south quarter from the end of Kirjath-Jearim, and the border hath gone out westward, and gone out unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah;

Южная граница шла от предместий Кирьят-Иеарима на западе и оттуда к источнику вод Нефтоах.

16 a nd the border hath come down unto the extremity of the hill which on the front of the valley of the son of Hinnom, which in the valley of the Rephaim northward, and hath gone down the valley of Hinnom unto the side of Jebusi southward, and gone down En-Rogel,

Затем граница спускалась к подножию горы, что напротив долины Бен-Гинном, к северу от долины Рефаим. Она нисходила долиной Гинном по южному склону города иевусеев к Эн-Рогелу.

17 a nd hath been marked out on the north, and gone out to En-Shemesh, and gone out unto Geliloth, which over-against the ascent of Adummim, and gone down the stone of Bohan son of Reuben,

Затем она сворачивала на север, шла к Эн-Шемешу, тянулась к Гелилоту, что напротив возвышенности Адуммим, и спускалась к камню Богана, сына Рувима.

18 a nd passed over unto the side over-against Arabah northward, and gone down to Arabah;

Она тянулась к северному склону Бет-Аравы и спускалась в саму иорданскую долину.

19 a nd the border hath passed over unto the side of Beth-Hoglah northward, and the outgoings of the border have been unto the north bay of the salt sea, unto the south extremity of the Jordan; this the south border;

Затем она шла к северному склону Бет-Хоглы и доходила до северного залива Соленого моря, у устья Иордана. Такова была северная граница.

20 a nd the Jordan doth border it at the east quarter; this the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, by its borders round about, for their families.

Границей на восточной стороне был Иордан. Таковы были границы наделов, данных кланам Вениамина.

21 A nd the cities for the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families, have been Jericho, and Beth-Hoglah, and the valley of Keziz,

Род Вениамина по их кланам владел следующими городами: Иерихон, Бет-Хогла, Емек-Кециц,

22 a nd Beth-Arabah, Zemaraim, and Beth-El,

Бет-Арава, Цемараим, Вефиль,

23 a nd Avim, and Parah, and Ophrah,

Аввим, Фара, Офра,

24 a nd Chephar-Haammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities and their villages.

Кефар-Аммони, Офни и Гева − двенадцать городов с окрестными поселениями.

25 G ibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,

Гаваон, Рама, Беэрот,

26 a nd Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,

Мицпе, Кефира, Моца,

27 a nd Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,

Рекем, Ирфеил, Фарала,

28 a nd Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi (it Jerusalem), Gibeath, Kirjath: fourteen cities and their villages. This the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, for their families.

Цела, Елеф, иевусейский город (то есть Иерусалим), Гива и Кирьят-Иеарим − четырнадцать городов с окрестными поселениями. Таков был удел Вениамина для его кланов.
