1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Господь сказал Моисею:

2 ` Command the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye are coming in unto the land of Canaan -- this the land which falleth to you by inheritance, the land of Canaan, by its borders --

– Дай израильтянам повеление, скажи им: «Когда вы войдете в Ханаан, у земли, которая будет дана вам в удел, будут такие границы:

3 t hen hath the south quarter been to you from the wilderness of Zin, by the sides of Edom, yea, the south border hath been to you from the extremity of the Salt Sea, eastward;

южная сторона у вас будет простираться от пустыни Цин вдоль границы Эдома. На востоке ваша южная граница будет начинаться от края Соленого моря,

4 a nd the border hath turned round to you from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and hath passed on to Zin, and its outgoings have been from the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and it hath gone out at Hazar-Addar, and hath passed on to Azmon;

проходить на юг к возвышенности Акравима, тянуться через Цин и идти на юг в направлении Кадеш-Барнеа. Оттуда она пойдет к Гацар-Аддару и пройдет к Ацмоне,

5 a nd the border hath turned round from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

где повернет к речке на границе Египта и закончится у моря.

6 ` As to the west border, even the great sea hath been to you a border; this is to you the west border.

Вашей западной границей будет побережье Великого моря. Это ваша граница на западе.

7 ` And this is to you the north border: from the great sea ye mark out for yourselves mount Hor;

Для северной границы проведите рубеж от Великого моря до горы Ор,

8 f rom mount Hor ye mark out to go in to Hamath, and the outgoings of the border have been to Zedad;

а от горы Ор – до Лево-Хамата. Оттуда граница пойдет к Цедаду,

9 a nd the border hath gone out to Ziphron, and its outgoings have been at Hazar-Enan; this is to you the north border.

продолжится к Зифрону и закончится в Гацар-Енане. Это ваша граница на севере.

10 ` And ye have marked out for yourselves for the border eastward, from Hazar-Enan to Shepham;

Для восточной границы проведите рубеж от Гацар-Енана до Шефама.

11 a nd the border hath gone down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east of Ain, and the border hath gone down, and hath smitten against the shoulder of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;

Граница пойдет от Шефама к Ривле на восточной стороне Аина и продолжится по склонам к востоку от моря Киннерет.

12 a nd the border hath gone down to the Jordan, and its outgoings have been at the Salt Sea; this is for you the land by its borders round about.'

Затем граница спустится по Иордану и дойдет до Соленого моря. Это ваша земля, с ее границами на каждой стороне».

13 A nd Moses commandeth the sons of Israel, saying, `This the land which ye inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give to the nine tribes and the half of the tribe;

Моисей повелел израильтянам: – Это та земля, которую вы получите в удел по жребию. Господь повелел отдать ее девяти с половиной родам,

14 f or the tribe of the sons of Reuben have received, by the house of their fathers; and the tribe of the children of Gad, by the house of their fathers; and the half of the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance;

потому что семьи родов Рувима, Гада и половина рода Манассии уже получили надел.

15 t he two tribes and the half of the tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan, Jericho, eastward, at the -rising.'

Эти два с половиной рода получили надел на восточной стороне Иордана, напротив Иерихона. Ответственные за раздел земли

16 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Господь сказал Моисею:

17 ` These the names of the men who give to you the inheritance of the land: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun,

– Вот имена тех, кто разделит землю вам в удел: священник Элеазар и Иисус, сын Навина.

18 a nd one prince -- one prince -- for a tribe ye do take to give the land by inheritance.

Назначьте по одному вождю от каждого рода, чтобы помочь делить землю.

19 ` And these the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

Вот их имена: Халев, сын Иефонниин, от рода Иуды;

20 a nd of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Aminihud;

Самуил, сын Аммиуда, от рода Симеона;

21 o f the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;

Елидад, сын Кислона, от рода Вениамина;

22 a nd of the tribe of the sons of Dan, the prince Bukki son of Jogli;

Буккий, сын Иоглии, вождь от рода Дана;

23 o f the sons of Joseph, of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, the prince Hanniel son of Ephod;

Ханниил, сын Эфода, вождь от рода Манассии, сына Иосифа;

24 a nd of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince Kemuel son of Shiphtan;

Кемуил, сын Шифтана, вождь от рода Ефрема, сына Иосифа;

25 a nd of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, the prince Elizaphan son of Parnach;

Елицафан, сын Фарнака, вождь от рода Завулона;

26 a nd of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince Paltiel son of Azzan;

Фалтиил, сын Аззана, вождь от рода Иссахара;

27 a nd of the tribe of the sons of Asher, the prince Ahihud son of Shelomi;

Ахиуд, сын Шеломия, вождь от рода Асира;

28 a nd of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the prince Pedahel son of Ammihud.'

Педаил, сын Аммиуда, вождь от рода Неффалима.

29 T hese those whom Jehovah hath commanded to give the sons of Israel inheritance in the land of Canaan.

Это те, кому Господь велел назначить израильтянам наделы в земле Ханаана.
