1 T hus said Jehovah, To His anointed, to Cyrus, Whose right hand I have laid hold on, To subdue nations before him, Yea, loins of kings I loose, To open before him two-leaved doors, Yea, gates are not shut:

Так Господь говорит Своему помазаннику Киру, которого Я держу за правую руку, чтобы смирить перед ним народы и отобрать у царей их оружие, чтобы открыть перед ним двери, ворота, что не затворятся:

2 ` I go before thee, and crooked places make straight, Two-leaved doors of brass I shiver, And bars of iron I cut asunder,

– Я пойду пред тобой и горы сровняю; разломаю бронзовые ворота и сломаю железные засовы.

3 A nd have given to thee treasures of darkness, Even treasures of secret places, So that thou knowest that I, Jehovah, Who am calling on thy name -- the God of Israel.

Я отдам тебе сокровища спрятанные во тьме, богатства, хранимые в тайниках, чтобы познал ты, что Я – Господь, Бог Израиля, называющий тебя по имени.

4 F or the sake of my servant Jacob, And of Israel My chosen, I call also thee by thy name, I surname thee, And thou hast not known Me.

Ради слуги Моего Иакова, ради Израиля, избранного Моего, Я зову тебя по имени, славное имя тебе дарую, хотя ты Меня не знаешь.

5 I Jehovah, and there is none else, Except Me there is no God, I gird thee, and thou hast not known Me.

Я – Господь, и другого нет; нет Бога кроме Меня. Я укреплю тебя, хотя ты Меня и не знаешь,

6 S o that they know from the rising of the sun, And from the west, that there is none besides Me, I Jehovah, and there is none else,

чтобы от солнечного восхода и до места его заката знали, что нет никого, кроме Меня; Я – Господь, и другого нет.

7 F orming light, and preparing darkness, Making peace, and preparing evil, I Jehovah, doing all these things.'

Я создаю свет и творю тьму, даю благополучие и творю беду; Я, Господь, создаю все это.

8 D rop, ye heavens, from above, And clouds do cause righteousness to flow, Earth openeth, and they are fruitful, Salvation and righteousness spring up together, I, Jehovah, have prepared it.

Небеса, изливайте свыше праведность, пусть хлынут ею облака. Пусть раскроется земля, чтобы взошло спасение; пусть растет с ним и праведность. Я, Господь, творю все это.

9 W o him who is striving with his Former, (A potsherd with potsherds of the ground!) Doth clay say to its Framer, `What dost thou?' And thy work, `He hath no hands?'

Горе тому, кто препирается со своим Создателем, кто лишь черепок среди черепков земных! Скажет ли глина горшечнику: «Что ты делаешь?» Скажет ли дело твое: «Ты такой безрукий!»?

10 W o him who is saying to a father, `What dost thou beget?' Or to a wife, `What dost thou bring forth?

Горе тому, кто говорит своему отцу: «Кого ты породил?» – или своей матери: «Кого ты произвела на свет?»

11 T hus said Jehovah, The Holy One of Israel, and his Former: Ask Me of the things coming concerning My sons, Yea, concerning the work of My hands, ye command Me.'

Так говорит Господь, Святой Израиля и Создатель его, о делах грядущих: – Вам ли спрашивать Меня о Моих детях, или приказывать Мне о деле Моих рук?

12 I made earth, and man on it prepared, I -- My hands stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded.

Я создал землю и сотворил на ней человека. Я Своими руками распростер небеса и построил их звездное воинство.

13 I have stirred him up in righteousness, And all his ways I make straight, He doth build My city, and My captivity doth send out, Not for price, nor for bribe, said Jehovah of Hosts.

Я воздвигну Кира в праведности: все пути его сделаю ровными. Он отстроит город и отпустит Моих пленников, но не за выкуп или подарки, – говорит Господь Сил. Спасение для всех народов

14 T hus said Jehovah, `The labour of Egypt, And the merchandise of Cush, And of the Sebaim -- men of measure, Unto thee pass over, and thine they are, After thee they go, in fetters they pass over, And unto thee they bow themselves, Unto thee they pray: Only in thee God, And there is none else, no God.

Так говорит Господь: – Богатство Египта, доход Куша и севеяне, рослый народ, к тебе перейдут и будут твоими; они последуют за тобой, придут к тебе в цепях. Они поклонятся тебе и будут умолять тебя, говоря: «Только с тобою Бог, и другого нет; кроме Него нет Бога».

15 S urely Thou a God hiding Thyself, God of Israel -- Saviour!

Воистину, Ты – Бог сокровенный, Бог Израиля, Спаситель.

16 T hey have been ashamed, And they have even blushed -- all of them, Together gone in confusion have those carving images.

Все, кто делает идолов, будут постыжены и опозорены; в бесчестие отойдут они все вместе.

17 I srael hath been saved in Jehovah, A salvation age-during! Ye are not ashamed nor confounded Unto the ages of eternity!

Но Господь спасет Израиль, вечным спасением; не постыдитесь и не опозоритесь вы во веки и веки.

18 F or thus said Jehovah, Creator of heaven, He is God, Former of earth, and its Maker, He established it -- not empty He prepared it, For inhabiting He formed it: `I Jehovah, and there is none else.

Ведь так говорит Господь, сотворивший небеса – Он – Бог!, образовавший, создавший землю; Он утвердил ее; не сотворил ее пустошью, но сотворил ее, чтобы она заселилась: – Я – Господь, и другого нет.

19 N ot in secret have I spoken, in a dark place of the earth, I have not said to the seed of Jacob, In vain seek ye Me, I Jehovah, speaking righteousness, Declaring uprightness.

Я говорил не в тайне, не из земли тьмы; Я не говорил потомкам Иакова: «Ищите Меня впустую». Я, Господь, говорю истину; Я возвещаю правду.

20 B e gathered, and come in, Come nigh together, ye escaped of the nations, They have not known, Who are lifting up the wood of their graven image, And praying unto a god saveth not.

Соберитесь и придите; сойдитесь вместе, уцелевшие из народов. Невежды те, кто носят идолов деревянных, молятся богу, который не спасает.

21 D eclare ye, and bring near, Yea, they take counsel together, Who hath proclaimed this from of old? From that time hath declared it? Is it not I -- Jehovah? And there is no other god besides Me, A God righteous and saving, there is none save Me.

Объявите и изложите свое дело; пусть они совещаются вместе. Кто предсказал это издавна, издревле кто возвестил? Разве не Я, Господь? Нет Бога, кроме Меня, Бога праведного, Спасителя; нет другого, кроме Меня.

22 T urn to Me, and be saved, all ends of the earth, For I God, and there is none else.

Обратитесь ко Мне и будете спасены, все края земли; потому что Я – Бог, и другого нет.

23 B y Myself I have sworn, Gone out from my mouth in righteousness hath a word, And it turneth not back, That to Me, bow doth every knee, every tongue swear.

Я поклялся Самим Собой, в праведности из уст Моих вышло слово, которое не возвратится: Преклонится предо Мной каждое колено. Мною будет клясться каждый язык.

24 O nly in Jehovah, said hath one, Have I righteousness and strength, Unto Him he cometh in, And ashamed are all those displeased with Him.

Будут говорить обо Мне: «Только в Господе пребывают праведность и сила». Все, кто враждовал с Ним, придут к Нему и устыдятся.

25 I n Jehovah are all the seed of Israel justified, And they boast themselves.'

В Господе оправдаются и прославятся все потомки Израиля.
