1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, I Jehovah your God;

– Говори с израильтянами и скажи им: «Я – Господь, ваш Бог.

3 a ccording to the work of the land of Egypt in which ye have dwelt ye do not, and according to the work of the land of Canaan whither I am bringing you in, ye do not, and in their statutes ye walk not.

Не поступайте, как поступают в Египте, где вы жили, и в земле Ханаана, куда Я вас веду. Не следуйте их обычаям.

4 ` My judgments ye do, and My statutes ye keep, to walk in them; I Jehovah your God;

Исполняйте Мои установления и прилежно соблюдайте Мои законы. Я – Господь, ваш Бог.

5 a nd ye have kept My statutes and My judgments which man doth and liveth in them; I Jehovah.

Соблюдайте Мои законы и установления, потому что исполняющий их будет жив благодаря им. Я – Господь.

6 ` None of you unto any relation of his flesh doth draw near to uncover nakedness; I Jehovah.

Пусть никто не приближается ни к какой из близких родственниц, чтобы иметь с ней половые отношения. Я – Господь.

7 ` The nakedness of thy father and the nakedness of thy mother thou dost not uncover, she thy mother; thou dost not uncover her nakedness.

Не позорь отца, вступив в половые отношения с матерью. Она – твоя мать; не вступай в половые отношения с ней.

8 ` The nakedness of the wife of thy father thou dost not uncover; it the nakedness of thy father.

Не имей половые отношения с женой своего отца – это бесчестие для него.

9 ` The nakedness of thy sister, daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, born at home or born without; thou dost not uncover their nakedness.

Не вступай в половые отношения со своей сестрой, дочерью твоих отца или матери, родилась ли она в том же доме, что и ты, или нет.

10 ` The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter: thou dost not uncover their nakedness; for theirs thy nakedness.

Не вступай в половые отношения с дочерью твоего сына или твоей дочери – это бесчестие для тебя.

11 ` The nakedness of a daughter of thy father's wife, begotten of thy father, she thy sister; thou dost not uncover her nakedness.

Не вступай в половые отношения с дочерью жены твоего отца, рожденной твоему отцу: она – твоя сестра.

12 ` The nakedness of a sister of thy father thou dost not uncover; she a relation of thy father.

Не вступай в половые отношения с сестрой отца: она его близкая родственница.

13 ` The nakedness of thy mother's sister thou dost not uncover; for she thy mother's relation.

Не вступай в половые отношения с сестрой матери, ведь она ее близкая родственница.

14 ` The nakedness of thy father's brother thou dost not uncover; unto his wife thou dost not draw near; she thine aunt.

Не позорь брата отца, приближаясь к его жене, чтобы иметь половые отношения с ней: она твоя тетя.

15 ` The nakedness of thy daughter-in-law thou dost not uncover; she thy son's wife; thou dost not uncover her nakedness.

Не вступай в половые отношения со своей снохой. Она жена твоего сына; не совокупляйся с ней.

16 ` The nakedness of thy brother's wife thou dost not uncover; it thy brother's nakedness.

Не вступай в половые отношения с женой своего брата – это бесчестие для него.

17 ` The nakedness of a woman and her daughter thou dost not uncover; her son's daughter, and her daughter's daughter thou dost not take to uncover her nakedness; they her relations; it wickedness.

Не вступай в половые отношения с матерью и дочерью. Не совокупляйся с дочерью ее сына или дочери: они твои близкие родственники. Это разврат.

18 ` And a woman unto another thou dost not take, to be an adversary, to uncover her nakedness beside her, in her life.

Не бери в жены свояченицу, сестру своей жены, чтобы она не стала ей соперницей; не вступай в половые отношения с ней, пока жива твоя жена.

19 ` And unto a woman in the separation of her uncleanness thou dost not draw near to uncover her nakedness.

Не приближайся к женщине, чтобы иметь с ней половые отношения, когда она нечиста из-за месячных.

20 ` And unto the wife of thy fellow thou dost not give thy seed of copulation, for uncleanness with her.

Не вступай в половые отношения с женой другого, не оскверняй себя.

21 ` And of thy seed thou dost not give to pass over to the Molech; nor dost thou pollute the name of thy God; I Jehovah.

Не отдавай своих детей в жертву Молоху, не бесчести Имени своего Бога. Я – Господь.

22 ` And with a male thou dost not lie as one lieth with a woman; abomination it.

Не ложись с мужчиной, как с женщиной: это мерзость.

23 ` And with any beast thou dost not give thy copulation, for uncleanness with it; and a woman doth not stand before a beast to lie down with it; confusion it.

Не совокупляйся с животным, не оскверняй себя. Женщине нельзя становиться перед животным для совокупления; это извращение.

24 ` Ye are not defiled with all these, for with all these have the nations been defiled which I am sending away from before you;

Не оскверняйте себя ничем этим, потому что так осквернили себя народы, которых Я от вас прогоняю.

25 a nd the land is defiled, and I charge its iniquity upon it, and the land vomiteth out its inhabitants:

Земля осквернилась, Я наказал ее за грех, и она исторгла своих обитателей.

26 a nd ye -- ye have kept My statutes and My judgments, and do not of all these abominations, the native and the sojourner who is sojourning in your midst,

Исполняйте Мои законы и установления. Пусть ни уроженцы страны, ни живущие у вас чужеземцы не делают этих мерзостей.

27 ( for all these abominations have the men of the land done who before you, and the land is defiled),

Все это делали те, кто жил в этой земле до вас, и земля осквернилась.

28 a nd the land doth not vomit you out in your defiling it, as it hath vomited out the nation which before you;

Если вы оскверните землю, она извергнет вас, как извергла народы, которые были до вас.

29 f or any one who doth of all these abominations -- even the persons who are doing, have been cut off from the midst of their people;

Любой, кто сделает что-либо из этих мерзостей, будет исторгнут из своего народа.

30 a nd ye have kept My charge, so as not to do of the abominable statutes which have been done before you, and ye do not defile yourselves with them; I Jehovah your God.'

Соблюдайте Мои повеления и не следуйте отвратительным обычаям, которые были до вас, не оскверняйтесь ими. Я – Господь, ваш Бог».
