1 A nd David speaketh to Jehovah the words of this song in the day Jehovah hath delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul,

Давид воспел Господу слова этой песни, когда Господь избавил его от рук всех его врагов и от руки Саула.

2 a nd he saith: `Jehovah my rock, And my bulwark, and a deliverer to me,

Он сказал: – Господь – скала моя, твердыня моя и мой избавитель;

3 M y God my rock -- I take refuge in Him; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, My high tower, and my refuge! My Saviour, from violence Thou savest me!

Бог мой – скала моя, в Нем я ищу прибежища, Он – щит и рог моего спасения, моя крепость. Он – мое прибежище и мой спаситель; Ты спас меня от насилия.

4 T he Praised One, I call Jehovah: And from mine enemies I am saved.

К Господу воззову, достойному хвалы, и от врагов моих спасусь.

5 W hen the breakers of death compassed me, The streams of the worthless terrify me,

Волны смерти вскипели вокруг меня; захлестнула стремнина гибели.

6 T he cords of Sheol have surrounded me, Before me have been the snares of death.

Цепи мира мертвых обвили меня, и опутали сети смерти.

7 I n mine adversity I call Jehovah, And unto my God I call, And He heareth from His temple my voice, And my cry in His ears,

В бедствии своем я Господа призвал; я воззвал к моему Богу. Из Своего храма Он услышал мой голос; крик мой дошел до ушей Его.

8 A nd shake and tremble doth the earth, Foundations of the heavens are troubled, And are shaken, for He hath wrath!

Задрожала земля, сотряслась, пошатнулись основания небес, задрожали, потому что разгневался Он.

9 G one up hath smoke by His nostrils. And fire from His mouth devoureth, Brands have been kindled by it.

Дым вырвался из Его ноздрей, огонь пожирающий из уст Его, сыпались от Него горящие угли.

10 A nd He inclineth heaven, and cometh down, And thick darkness under His feet.

Он расторг небеса и сошел, под ногами – мглистые тучи.

11 A nd He rideth on a cherub, and doth fly, And is seen on the wings of the wind.

Он воссел на херувима и полетел, воспарил Он на крыльях ветра.

12 A nd He setteth darkness Round about Him -- tabernacles, Darkness of waters -- thick clouds of the skies.

Мраком покрыл Себя, словно пологом, тучи, потемневшие от ненастья.

13 F rom the brightness before Him Were brands of fire kindled!

От сияния перед Ним разгорались огненные угли.

14 T hunder from the heavens doth Jehovah, And the Most High giveth forth His voice.

Господь возгремел с небес; Всевышний подал Свой голос.

15 A nd He sendeth forth arrows, And scattereth them; Lightning, and troubleth them;

Он пустил Свои стрелы и рассеял врагов, молнией поразил их.

16 A nd seen are the streams of the sea, Revealed are foundations of the world, By the rebuke of Jehovah, From the breath of the spirit of His anger.

Тогда открылись источники моря и обнажились основания мира от упрека Господа, от мощного дыхания ноздрей Его.

17 H e sendeth from above -- He taketh me, He draweth me out of many waters.

С высоты Он склонился и взял меня; Он извлек меня из глубоких вод.

18 H e delivereth me from my strong enemy, From those hating me, For they were stronger than I.

Он избавил меня от могучего врага от ненавистников моих, слишком сильных для меня.

19 T hey are before me in a day of my calamity, And Jehovah is my support,

В день бедствия моего они на меня ополчились, но Господь был моей опорой.

20 A nd He bringeth me out to a large place, He draweth me out for He delighted in me.

Он вывел меня на безопасное место, Он избавил меня, потому что я угоден Ему.

21 J ehovah recompenseth me, According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, He doth return to me.

Воздал мне Господь по праведности моей; по чистоте моих рук наградил меня,

22 F or I have kept the ways of Jehovah, And have not done wickedly against my God.

ведь я хранил пути Господа и не сделал зла, отвернувшись от Бога моего.

23 F or all His judgments before me, As to His statutes, I turn not from them.

Все законы Его предо мной; я повелений Его не оставил.

24 A nd I am perfect before Him, And I keep myself from mine iniquity.

Я был непорочен перед Ним и хранил себя от греха.

25 A nd Jehovah returneth to me, According to my righteousness, According to my cleanness before His eyes.

Воздал мне Господь по праведности моей, по чистоте моей перед глазами Его.

26 W ith the kind Thou shewest Thyself kind, With the perfect man Thou shewest Thyself perfect,

Ты верен с тем, кто верен, с беспорочным Ты поступаешь беспорочно,

27 W ith the pure Thou shewest Thyself pure, And with the perverse Thou shewest Thyself a wrestler.

с чистым – чисто, но с коварным – по его лукавству.

28 A nd the poor people Thou dost save, And Thine eyes on the high causest to fall.

Ты спасаешь смиренных, но взор Твой на надменных, чтобы унизить их.

29 F or Thou my lamp, O Jehovah, And Jehovah doth lighten my darkness.

Ты – светильник мой, Господь озаряет мрак мой.

30 F or by Thee I run -- a troop, By my God I leap a wall.

С Твоей помощью я сокрушаю войско, с Богом моим поднимаюсь на стену.

31 G od! Perfect His way, The saying of Jehovah is tried, A shield He to all those trusting in Him.

Путь Бога безупречен; чисто слово Господа. Он − щит для всех, кто ищет в Нем прибежища.

32 F or who is God save Jehovah? And who a Rock save our God?

Ведь кто Бог, кроме Господа? И кто скала, кроме нашего Бога?

33 G od -- my bulwark, strength, And He maketh perfect my way;

Бог – мое крепкое прибежище и делает верным мой путь.

34 M aking my feet like hinds, And on my high places causeth me to stand,

Он делает ноги мои, как ноги оленя, и ставит меня на высотах.

35 T eaching my hands for battle, And brought down was a bow of brass by mine arms,

Он учит руки мои войне, так что гнут они бронзовый лук.

36 A nd Thou givest to me the shield of Thy salvation, And Thy lowliness maketh me great.

Ты вручил мне щит спасения Твоего, Твоя милость меня возвеличивает.

37 T hou enlargest my step under me, And mine ankles have not slidden.

Ты расширяешь мой шаг подо мной, чтобы ногам моим не оступиться.

38 I pursue mine enemies and destroy them, And I turn not till they are consumed.

Я преследовал врагов моих и сокрушил их; я не повернул назад, пока не истребил их.

39 A nd I consume them, and smite them, And they rise not, and fall under my feet.

Я поразил и сокрушил их, и им не встать; под ноги мне они пали.

40 A nd Thou girdest me strength for battle, Thou causest my withstanders to bow under me.

Ты препоясал меня силой для битвы; Ты поверг к моим ногам восставших на меня.

41 A nd mine enemies -- Thou givest to me the neck, Those hating me -- and I cut them off.

Врагов обратил Ты ко мне спиной, и я истребил ненавидящих меня.

42 T hey look, and there is no saviour; Unto Jehovah, and He hath not answered them.

Они поднимали свой взор, но не было никого, чтобы спасти их – к Господу взывали, но Он не ответил им.

43 A nd I beat them as dust of the earth, As mire of the streets I beat them small -- I spread them out!

Я стер их в порошок, в земную пыль; я смял их и топтал, как уличную грязь.

44 A nd -- Thou dost deliver me From the strivings of my people, Thou placest me for a head of nations; A people I have not known do serve me.

Ты избавил меня от мятежа народа моего; Ты сохранил меня главой чужеземцев. Народы, которых я не знал, служат мне.

45 S ons of a stranger feign obedience to me, At the hearing of the ear they hearken to me.

Чужеземцы раболепствуют предо мной; они покоряются, едва обо мне услышав.

46 S ons of a stranger fade away, And gird themselves by their close places.

Все они пали духом и выходят, дрожа, из своих крепостей.

47 J ehovah liveth, and blessed my Rock, And exalted is my God -- The Rock of my salvation.

Жив Господь! Хвала моей скале! Да будет превознесен мой Бог, скала моего спасения!

48 G od -- who is giving vengeance to me, And bringing down peoples under me,

Он − Бог, Который мстит за меня, Который народы мне покоряет,

49 A nd bringing me forth from mine enemies, Yea, above my withstanders Thou raisest me up. From a man of violence Thou deliverest me.

и спасает меня от моих врагов. Ты вознес меня над моими противниками; от жестоких людей спас меня.

50 T herefore I confess Thee, O Jehovah, among nations. And to Thy name I sing praise.

За это буду славить Тебя, Господи, среди других народов; Имени Твоему воспою я хвалу.

51 M agnifying the salvations of His king, And doing loving-kindness to His anointed, To David, and to his seed -- unto the age!'

Своему царю Он дарует большие победы и милость являет Своему помазаннику Давиду и семени его вовеки.
