1 A nd it came to pass, in the multitude pressing on him to hear the word of God, that he was standing beside the lake of Gennesaret,

Однажды Иисус стоял у Геннисаретского озера, и народ, столпившись вокруг Него, слушал слово Божье.

2 a nd he saw two boats standing beside the lake, and the fishers, having gone away from them, were washing the nets,

Иисус увидел у воды две лодки, которые принадлежали рыбакам, промывавшим невдалеке сети.

3 a nd having entered into one of the boats, that was Simon's, he asked him to put back a little from the land, and having sat down, was teaching the multitudes out of the boat.

Он вошел в одну из лодок, которая принадлежала Симону, и попросил того отплыть немного от берега. Затем Он сел и стал учить народ из лодки.

4 A nd when he left off speaking, he said unto Simon, `Put back to the deep, and let down your nets for a draught;'

Когда Иисус закончил говорить, Он сказал Симону: – Отплыви на глубокое место и закинь сети для лова.

5 a nd Simon answering said to him, `Master, through the whole night, having laboured, we have taken nothing, but at thy saying I will let down the net.'

Симон ответил: – Наставник, мы трудились всю ночь и ничего не поймали, но если Ты так говоришь, то я закину сети.

6 A nd having done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net was breaking,

И когда они сделали это, то поймали столько рыбы, что сети начали рваться.

7 a nd they beckoned to the partners, who in the other boat, having come, to help them; and they came, and filled both the boats, so that they were sinking.

Они знаками стали звать на помощь товарищей из другой лодки. Те подплыли, и вместе они наполнили две лодки так, что лодки стали тонуть.

8 A nd Simon Peter having seen, fell down at the knees of Jesus, saying, `Depart from me, because I am a sinful man, O lord;'

Когда Симон Петр это увидел, он пал к ногам Иисуса и сказал: – Уйди от меня, Господи, ведь я человек грешный!

9 f or astonishment seized him, and all those with him, at the draught of the fishes that they took,

Он сказал так потому, что его и всех, кто вместе с ним ловил рыбу, объял ужас при виде столь обильного улова.

10 a nd in like manner also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon; and Jesus said unto Simon, `Fear not, henceforth thou shalt be catching men;'

Были поражены и товарищи Симона: Иаков и Иоанн, сыновья Зеведея. Иисус же сказал Симону: – Не бойся, отныне ты будешь ловить людей.

11 a nd they, having brought the boats upon the land, having left all, did follow him.

И вытащив лодки на берег, они оставили все и пошли за Ним. Иисус исцеляет прокаженного (Мат. 8: 2-4; Мк. 1: 40-44)

12 A nd it came to pass, in his being in one of the cities, that lo, a man full of leprosy, and having seen Jesus, having fallen on face, he besought him, saying, `Sir, if thou mayest will, thou art able to cleanse me;'

Однажды, когда Иисус находился в одном из городов, Ему встретился человек, покрытый проказой. Когда он увидел Иисуса, то пал на лицо свое и стал умолять Его: – Господи, если Ты захочешь, Ты можешь меня очистить.

13 a nd having stretched forth hand, he touched him, having said, `I will; be thou cleansed;' and immediately the leprosy went away from him.

Иисус протянул руку и прикоснулся к нему, сказав: – Хочу, очистись! Проказа сразу же сошла с него,

14 A nd he charged him to tell no one, `But, having gone away, shew thyself to the priest, and bring near for thy cleansing according as Moses directed, for a testimony to them;'

и Иисус предупредил его никому об этом не рассказывать, но повелел: – Пойди, покажись священнику и принеси жертву за очищение, как это заповедал Моисей. Этим твое исцеление будет удостоверено перед людьми.

15 b ut the more was the report going abroad concerning him, and great multitudes were coming together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities,

Однако слух об Иисусе распространялся все шире, и люди толпами шли к Нему, чтобы послушать Его и исцелиться от болезней.

16 a nd he was withdrawing himself in the desert places and was praying.

Иисус же часто уходил в безлюдные места и молился. Иисус исцеляет парализованного (Мат. 9: 2-8; Мк. 2: 3-12)

17 A nd it came to pass, on one of the days, that he was teaching, and there were sitting by Pharisees and teachers of the Law, who were come out of every village of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was -- to heal them.

Однажды, когда Иисус учил, рядом сидели фарисеи и учители Закона, которые собрались изо всех селений Галилеи, Иудеи и из Иерусалима. С Иисусом была сила Господа, чтобы исцелять больных.

18 A nd lo, men bearing upon a couch a man, who hath been struck with palsy, and they were seeking to bring him in, and to place before him,

И тут пришли несколько человек, неся на циновке парализованного, и пытались внести его в дом, чтобы положить перед Иисусом.

19 a nd not having found by what way they may bring him in because of the multitude, having gone up on the house-top, through the tiles they let him down, with the little couch, into the midst before Jesus,

Но из-за толпы они не смогли этого сделать, и тогда они поднялись на крышу и, разобрав черепицу, опустили парализованного на циновке в середину толпы, прямо перед Иисусом.

20 a nd he having seen their faith, said to him, `Man, thy sins have been forgiven thee.'

Когда Иисус увидел их веру, Он сказал больному: – Друг, прощаются тебе твои грехи.

21 A nd the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, `Who is this that doth speak evil words? who is able to forgive sins, except God only?'

Фарисеи и учители Закона подумали про себя: «Кто этот человек, который так кощунствует? Кто, кроме одного лишь Бога, может прощать грехи?»

22 A nd Jesus having known their reasonings, answering, said unto them, `What reason ye in your hearts?

Узнав, о чем они думают, Иисус ответил им: – Что у вас за мысли?

23 w hich is easier -- to say, Thy sins have been forgiven thee? or to say, Arise, and walk?

Что легче – сказать: «Твои грехи прощены» или сказать: «Встань и ходи»?

24 ` And that ye may know that the Son of Man hath authority upon the earth to forgive sins -- (he said to the one struck with palsy) -- I say to thee, Arise, and having taken up thy little couch, be going on to thy house.'

Но чтобы вы знали, что Сын Человеческий имеет власть на земле прощать грехи... И тут Иисус обратился к парализованному человеку: – Говорю тебе, встань, возьми свою циновку и иди домой!

25 A nd presently having risen before them, having taken up on which he was lying, he went away to his house, glorifying God,

Тот сразу же у всех на глазах встал, взял то, на чем лежал, и пошел домой, прославляя Бога.

26 a nd astonishment took all, and they were glorifying God, and were filled with fear, saying -- `We saw strange things to-day.'

Всех охватило изумление, и они прославляли Бога. Объятые страхом, они говорили: – Невероятные вещи видели мы сегодня. Иисус обедает с грешниками в доме Левия (Мат. 9: 9-13; Мк. 2: 14-17)

27 A nd after these things he went forth, and beheld a tax-gatherer, by name Levi, sitting at the tax-office, and said to him, `Be following me;'

Выйдя из этого дома, Иисус увидел сборщика налогов по имени Левий, сидевшего на месте сбора таможенных пошлин. – Следуй за Мной, – сказал ему Иисус.

28 a nd he, having left all, having arisen, did follow him.

Левий встал, оставил все и пошел за Ним.

29 A nd Levi made a great entertainment to him in his house, and there was a great multitude of tax-gatherers and others who were with them reclining (at meat),

Потом он устроил у себя дома большой пир для Иисуса. На пир собралось много сборщиков налогов и другого народа. Они возлежали вместе с Иисусом.

30 a nd the scribes and the Pharisees among them were murmuring at his disciples, saying, `Wherefore with tax-gatherers and sinners do ye eat and drink?'

Фарисеи же и учители Закона возмущенно спрашивали учеников Иисуса: – Почему вы едите и пьете со сборщиками податей и с грешниками?

31 A nd Jesus answering said unto them, `They who are well have no need of a physician, but they that are ill:

Иисус ответил им: – Не здоровым нужен врач, а больным.

32 I came not to call righteous men, but sinners, to reformation.'

Я пришел призвать к покаянию не праведников, а грешников. Религиозные вожди спрашивают Иисуса о посте (Мат. 9: 14-17; Мк. 2: 18-22)

33 A nd they said unto him, `Wherefore do the disciples of John fast often, and make supplications -- in like manner also those of the Pharisees -- but thine do eat and drink?'

Тогда они сказали Иисусу: – Ученики Иоанна и фарисеев часто постятся и молятся, а Твои ученики – едят и пьют.

34 A nd he said unto them, `Are ye able to make the sons of the bride-chamber -- in the bridegroom being with them -- to fast?

Иисус ответил: – Разве можно заставить гостей на свадьбе поститься, пока с ними жених?

35 b ut days will come, and, when the bridegroom may be taken away from them, then they shall fast in those days.'

Но наступит время, когда жених будет взят от них, вот тогда, в те дни, они и будут поститься.

36 A nd he spake also a simile unto them -- `No one a patch of new clothing doth put on old clothing, and if otherwise, the new also doth make a rent, and with the old the patch doth not agree, that from the new.

Он также рассказал им притчу: – Никто не пришивает заплату к старому плащу, оторвав для этого кусок от нового. Если он это сделает, то он и новый плащ испортит, и старому заплата не подойдет.

37 ` And no one doth put new wine into old skins, and if otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, and itself will be poured out, and the skins will be destroyed;

И никто не наливает молодое вино в старые бурдюки, иначе молодое вино прорвет их – оно вытечет, а бурдюки пропадут.

38 b ut new wine into new skins is to be put, and both are preserved together;

Нет, молодое вино льют в новые бурдюки.

39 a nd no one having drunk old, doth immediately wish new, for he saith, The old is better.'

И никто, пьющий старое вино, не захочет молодого, потому что скажет: «Старое лучше».
