1 A nd it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

В двенадцатом году, в первый день двенадцатого месяца было ко мне слово Господа:

2 ` Son of man, lift up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and thou hast said unto him: A young lion of nations thou hast been like, And thou as a dragon in the seas, And thou comest forth with thy flowings, And dost trouble the waters with thy feet, And thou dost foul their flowings.

– Сын человеческий, подними плач о фараоне, царе Египта, и скажи ему: Ты мнишь себя львом меж народами, а похож на морское чудовище, – ты мечешься в реках, лапами мутишь воду, и реки поганишь.

3 T hus said the Lord Jehovah: And -- I have spread out for thee My net, With an assembly of many peoples, And they have brought thee up in My net.

Так говорит Владыка Господь: – Среди множества народов Я закину на тебя сеть, и они тебя неводом вытащат.

4 A nd I have left thee in the land, On the face of the field I do cast thee out, And have caused to dwell upon thee every fowl of the heavens, And have satisfied out of thee the beasts of the whole earth.

Я брошу тебя на землю, повергну в открытом поле. Птицы рассядутся на тебе, наестся тобой зверье.

5 A nd I have put thy flesh on the mountains, And filled the valleys thy hugeness,

Я размечу твою плоть по горам, наполню долины твоими останками.

6 A nd watered the land with thy flowing, From thy blood -- unto the mountains, And streams are filled from thee.

Землю, до самых гор, орошу Я потоками твоей крови, и наполнятся плотью твоей ущелья.

7 A nd in quenching thee I have covered the heavens, And have made black their stars, The sun with a cloud I do cover, And the moon causeth not its light to shine.

Тебя угасив, Я небеса закрою и погашу в них звезды; Я закрою облаком солнце, и не будет светить луна.

8 A ll luminaries of light in the heavens, I make black over thee, And I have given darkness over thy land, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah,

Все светила, сияющие на небе, Я помрачу над тобой и мраком землю твою покрою, – возвещает Владыка Господь. –

9 A nd I have vexed the heart of many peoples, In My bringing in thy destruction among nations, Unto lands that thou hast not known.

Я наполню тревогой сердца многих народов, когда приведу твою гибель меж народами в страны тебе незнакомые.

10 A nd I have made many peoples astonished at thee, And their kings are afraid at thee with trembling, In My brandishing My sword before their faces, And they have trembled every moment, Each for his life -- in the day of thy fall.

Я ужасну твоей участью многие народы, и цари их будут дрожать от страха, думая о тебе, когда Я взмахну перед ними мечом. В день твоего падения каждый из них ежеминутно будет за жизнь свою трепетать.

11 F or thus said the Lord Jehovah: A sword of the king of Babylon entereth thee,

Ведь так говорит Владыка Господь: – Меч царя Вавилона двинется на тебя.

12 B y swords of the mighty I cause thy multitude to fall, The terrible of nations -- all of them, And they have spoiled the excellency of Egypt, And destroyed hath been all her multitude.

Я разобью твои орды мечами могучих воинов, жесточайших из всех народов. Они растопчут гордыню Египта и истребят его орды.

13 A nd I have destroyed all her beasts, From beside many waters, And trouble them not doth a foot of man any more, Yea, the hoofs of beasts trouble them not.

Я погублю его скот, что пасется у обильных вод. И ни нога человека больше не взволнует эти воды, ни копыто скота не замутит их впредь.

14 T hen do I cause their waters to sink, And their rivers as oil I cause to go, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

Я дам отстояться водам, и сделаю так, что их реки будут струиться, как родник, – возвещает Владыка Господь. –

15 I n My making the land of Egypt a desolation, And desolated hath been the land of its fulness, In My smiting all the inhabitants in it, And they have known that I Jehovah.

Когда Я сделаю землю Египта пустыней, и она лишится всего, что ее наполняет, когда Я сражу ее жителей, тогда они узнают, что Я – Господь.

16 A lamentation it, and they have lamented her, Daughters of the nations do lament her, For Egypt, and for all her multitude, they lament her, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

– Это плач, который будут петь. Его будут петь дочери народов. Они будут петь его о Египте и его полчищах, – возвещает Владыка Господь. Египет спускается в мир мертвых

17 A nd it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

В двенадцатом году, в пятнадцатый день первого месяца было ко мне слово Господа:

18 ` Son of man, Wail for the multitude of Egypt, And cause it to go down, It -- and the daughters of honourable nations, Unto the earth -- the lower parts, With those going down to the pit.

– Сын человеческий, оплачь египетские полчища и повергни и их, и Египет, и дочерей сильных народов в нижний мир, к тем, кто спускается в пропасть.

19 T han whom hast thou been more pleasant? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.

Скажи им: «Кого вы превосходите красотой? Спускайтесь, чтобы лечь с необрезанными».

20 I n the midst of the pierced of the sword they fall, the sword she hath been given, They drew her out, and all her multitude.

Они падут среди убитых мечом. Меч занесен – гоните Египет прочь с его полчищами.

21 S peak to him do the gods of the mighty out of the midst of sheol, With his helpers -- they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword.

Могучие вожди скажут из мира мертвых о Египте и его помощниках: «Они спустились и лежат с необрезанными, с теми, кто пал от меча».

22 T here Asshur, and all her assembly, Round about him his graves, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword,

Там Ассирия со своим войском; она окружена могилами своих убитых, тех, кто пал от меча.

23 W hose graves are appointed in the sides of the pit, And her assembly is round about her grave, All of them wounded, falling by sword, Because they gave terror in the land of the living.

Их могилы – в глубине пропасти. Ее войско лежит вокруг ее могилы. Те, кто сеял страх на земле живых, убиты, пали от меча.

24 T here Elam, and all her multitude, Round about her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised unto the earth -- the lower parts, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

Там Елам со своими полчищами вокруг его могилы. Они убиты, пали от меча. Те, кто сеял страх на земле живых, сошли необрезанными в нижний мир. Они несут свой позор с теми, кто спустился в пропасть.

25 I n the midst of the wounded they have appointed a bed for her with all her multitude, Round about him her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, In the midst of the pierced he hath been put.

Еламу приготовили ложе среди убитых, и его полчища лежат вокруг его могилы. Они – необрезанные, убитые мечом. За то, что страх перед ними распространялся по земле живых, они несут свой позор вместе с теми, кто спустился в пропасть, их положили среди убитых.

26 T here Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, Round about him her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For they gave their terror in the land of the living,

Там Мешех и Тувал со своими полчищами вокруг их могил. Они – необрезанные, убитые мечом за то, что сеяли страх на земле живых.

27 A nd they lie not with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

Не лежат они с павшими воинами древности, которые сошли в мир мертвых с оружием, чьи мечи положены им под голову, чьи беззакония покоятся на их костях. Эти воины некогда сеяли страх на земле живых.

28 A nd thou, in the midst of the uncircumcised art broken, And dost lie with the pierced of the sword.

И ты, фараон, будешь сокрушен и ляжешь среди необрезанных, возле тех, кто пал от меча.

29 T here Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They with the uncircumcised do lie, And with those going down to the pit.

Там Эдом, его цари и вожди; невзирая на их силу, их положили среди тех, кто пал от меча. Они лежат с необрезанными, с теми, кто спускается в пропасть.

30 T here princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, Of their might they are ashamed, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

Там правители Севера и сидоняне. Они спустились туда с убитыми, опозоренные, хотя их сила наводила страх. Они лежат необрезанными с теми, кто пал от меча, и несут свой позор с теми, кто спускается в пропасть.

31 T hen doth Pharaoh see, And he hath been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh and all his force, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

Фараон сам, и все его войско, увидит их и утешится о своих полчищах, что не только они – он сам и все его войско – пали от меча, – возвещает Владыка Господь. –

32 F or I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he hath been laid down in the midst of the uncircumcised, With the pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh, and all his multitude, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'

Хотя Я и наводил страх перед ним на земле живых, фараона и его полчища положат среди необрезанных, рядом с теми, кто пал от меча, –возвещает Владыка Господь.
